• Hong (10/5): - Great location in the old town, we stayed a historic building and experienced old, medieval life: stone walls, colourful windows and tiny balconies… the place is clean and well equipped. If the bathroom could be bigger, that’s perfect.

• Karen (8/5): Manuel is a lovely host. - Manuel, our host, couldn’t have been more helpful and caring, supporting both my partner and myself when I suffered a health issue. The rooms are over a noisy bar and square; perfect for sightseeing but not conducive to sleeping!
• LAWRENCE (10/5): - It was a small but very comfortable room with its own full bath. Very clean. Enough space for our things and especially place to charge electronics. Did not realize the importance until there was a place without nightstands! We did not use it but the common area was nice

Great location. close to the main centers so we could people watch. easy to catch the camino trail the next morning. it was hard to find. kinda tucked away and the number on the unit was almost non existant
• Andrii (8/5): - Great location, in the very center of historic part of the city It was a bit hard to find. It’s located very close to the restaurant which puts outside tables right on front of the property door. I had to make a few passes there to notice it
• Ella (8/5): - This was a lovely place to stay. Ideal location in a lovely city, great for camino walkers for one night. Wouldn’t want to stay more than one but did the job. Room was comfy and air con was appreciated. Other guests coming in very loud and drunk at 2:30am was less ideal, and with no staff sighted for our entire stay it did concern us a bit. Overall lovely and great value though!
• Tara (8/5): - Great location, right on the square with restaurants but shutters and fan made the room quiet. Helpful host. Good accommodation for the price. Bathroom shower was a bit hard to use - cold water dripped from the overhead rainfall spout while drying to use the hose. And lights time out while you’re still in the shower. Also towels were very thin, old, and scratchy.

• Daniela (10/5): Eine sehr schöne yunterkunft mit Wohlfühlatmosphäre - Es war perfekt, die Sauberkeit , die Information, die kleine Küche inklusive Ausstattung! Alles sehr schön eingerichtet ! Die Lage war ebenfalls super! Ich hatte leider etwas Schwierigkeiten den Eingang zu finden . Eventuell könnte eine zusätzliche Information helfen ! Linke grüne Tür neben dem Restaurant?!

• Benoit (9/5): Nice and pleasant - The room was perfect, even though the window opened onto a wall (useful to not hear the bar noise downstairs). The kitchen is quite basic, but it was enough for my stay (2 nights). The host was very helpful and was able to resolve an issue for me when there was no freezer, as I needed to freeze an ice pack for my medication. It is a comfortable place, and having a living room make it even better, as it allow guests to meet and exchange with other guests. The fridge should be bigger with a freezer. It's a mini mini fridge. A coffee machine with pods will be a plus also, WiFi get slower and not stable when there more guest using it.

It was noisy the night we stayed did you the eating and drinking establishment below! Had to close the window as the noise carried on well into the night!

• Kate (10/5): A spacious, calm, and comfortable stop in Pontevedra - We had a lovely stay in Pension A Xanela and it provided us with clean and comfortable respite during our Camino de Santiago stop in Pontevedra. There is a lovely bright lounge area to relax in, which looks onto a square full of bars and restaurants in the center of the city. Perfectly located, you fall out of the door and into the city centre. The beds are wodnerfully comfy, the bathroom facilities in our room were modern and clean, and the kitchen services were all clean and easy to use. One of my favourite stops along the camino. There are alos supermarkets nearby to stock up for breakfast. The only negative was that the rooms are not 100% sound proof. You can hear into other rooms, as well as hear the busy sound of nightlife from the square below. This is only an issue in the nighttime.
• James (7/5): Small walk-up over a bar/restaurant. Comfortable but noisy. - This is on a main square in an old part of town. The common area has windows that open onto the square and is nicely furnished for a relaxing stay. The rooms are above a restaurant/bar and the walls between the rooms are very thin. If other guests were talking it was hard to sleep. The room itself was quite small.

• Christopher (9/5): Authentic lodging right in the historic center - This lodging is a collection of a few rooms with a really nice common area overlooking a lovely square. It's in a historic building with plenty of atmosphere. The front room with ensuite bath is especially charming. We had no complaints. Be aware that some private baths are across the hall from the room,, not ensuite.

• Kiara (10/5): Lovely old building, super central location :-) - Located in a lovely old building on the edge of one of Pontevedra's most buzzing squares (but still quiet to sleep at night). Self check-in was nice and easy, room was comfortable and clean. Would happily stay here again :-) One of the more expensive places I stayed at along the Camino Portuguese, but I guess it was Easter week.

Hay una zona común donde tienes té y café de cortesía y hay una pequeña nevera por si necesitas dejar algo. La ubicación es ideal. Estaba todo super limpio. Muy buena climatización. El baño podría haber sido un poquito mas amplio, dado el tamaño de la habitación. Debajo hay bares que si no tienes las ventanas cerradas podrían llegar a molestar. Sin embargo la hora de cierre no era muy tardía, por lo que el descanso no se vio afectado.

• Karen (10/5): - The location is perfect in the heart of the old city. The staff were very friendly on arrival and gave great reccomendations for dinner. The room was spacious and comfortable and a nice common area. There was no way to lock the room from the inside. As a solo female traveler, that felt unsafe. The towels were very scratchy. The bathroom lights were on sensors which meant they turned off while in the shower.

• Irene (10/5): Céntrico alojamiento - Muy buena ubicación. Muebles modernos y decoración cuidada. Igual para 6 personas se queda pequeño y más días. Nosotras estuvimos 4 personas una noche y estuvimos muy cómodas.
• Kim (6/5): Nice place to stay in a good location. - The room and facility was decorated nice and rooms and bathroom were clean. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Room does not provide air conditioning but a fan was provided which was helpful. The place is above a plaza so would be loud if windows are left open. Beds were not comfortable.

• vanssa.s (10/5): We’d love to come back! - One of the best accommodations we had along our Caminho Português. We had a smooth self check-in and were welcomed by beautiful spaces right in the city center, including a heated room where we felt truly comfortable. Everything, including the common areas, was spotless and full of lovely details. A truly charming place that’s definitely worth visiting - we’d love to come back! Thank you! :) The only thing we slightly missed was a stove or hot plate to prepare a warm dinner or breakfast.

• Lynn (10/5): Gorgeous building in great location in old town - Great location in the square (be aware it will be noisy - you’re in Spain looking over a square after all!!). Great room, lovely interiors done with care and flair. Nice communal area with kitchenette - kettle, microwave so you can have some simple food and drink. Beautiful building. Really friendly, owner run. Nothing. All great.

• Wario (5/5): - La ubicación, a pesar de que es una zona de mucho bullicio. Reservé una habitación con baño privado, pero nunca imaginé qué el baño estaría al exterior del cuarto. Si bien teníamos llave, era incómodo salir, cuando hay gente pasando. Minúscula la habitación. No volvería.
