Wir haben diese Wohnung via booking reserviert und dann festgestellt, dass diese Wohnung zur Zeit überhaupt nicht vermietet werden kann!!!! Ich fragte schriftlich den Vermieter wie Check-in verläuft. Daraufhin habe ich die. Nachricht erhalten, dass diese Reservierung nicht möglich sei weil das Anwesen renoviert wird!!!! Ich konnte es nicbt glauben und rief beim.Vermieter an. Die Dame sagte, dass das Anwesen bis Januar renoviert wird. Es sei die Schuld von booking, dass diese Wohnung noch buchbar ist. Als ich der Dame sagte sie selbst haette einfach einen Buchungsstop in ihrem exhranet von booking setzen koennen/muessen, beendete die Dame das Gespråch abrupt mit "have a wonderful day" .Eine Frechheit!!!! Ob es kotrekt ist mit der Renovierung oder ob es nur eine Ausrede war, kann ich nicht beurteilen Mit booking war ich wie immer sehr zufrieden und man konnte mir sofort bezueglich diesem Problem weiterhelfen. • Guest (1/5): Rampzalig - Niets Dat er blijkbaar iemand woont en deze accommodatie niet meer bestaat. Midden in de nacht, uber van 177 euro richting Antwerpen moeten betalen. Het moest een leuk weekendje worden maar is uitgedraaid in een domper.
• Miguel (6/5): Pleasant - Great location in between the train station and the city center, the title doesn't lie, the views are great you can even see one of Ghent's towers The flat was dirty, you could tell that the owner did not even vacuum before our arrival, the sink of the bathroom was clogged
• Juho (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, price and no significant problems. Looks pretty much the same as in the photos. Some minor cleaning problems. (Sofa + floor) but easily fixable.
• Ursa (2/5): Not very clean and bad communication - The location is great. It is also good that the check-in is flexible as the key is left for the guests. This was a very odd experience for me. When I arrived late in the evening, I first noticed that the flat was not very clean (floor, bathroom, kitchen counters were a bit dirty, with hair from previous guests). Also, the bed was not made and the bedding was left out in the wrapping from the shop (usually, you would wash the bedding before the first use). The sound insolation is probably not that great as I woke up several times during the night by the neighbours. At the end, when I asked for the invoice, the host just ignored my messages and never issued me an invoice, which I needed for my work. I tried calling the phone number provided, but the phone went dead as if the number doesn't exist. Another observation was that the bed was very soft and the pillows in a bad condition, so after a few days my back started hurting (but I do have back problems, so this might not be an issue for everyone). All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying in this place.
• Nino (10/5): Thank you my hosts very much. They allowed me tos tay after checking out because our buss was leaving late. - The host were so nice and helpful. They were ready to help for anything. Property is really comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your staying.

• Flor (10/5): Perfect - Everything was perfect. The apartment is modern and nicely furnished, clean and exactly as described. Lauren was a very kind host, very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Ghent and is close to public transport.

• Emre (10/5): Exceptional - We were able to enter the house safely at any time we wanted. The location of the house is within walking distance of the train station and the streets are safe even at late hours. The house is clean and looks like in the photos.

• 佳穎 (7/5): I enjoyed staying there, the owner was really nice to contact me to see if I have any problems. - The location was nice. Walking distance to the Ghent St. Pierter Station. The room is really pretty with a nice view of sunset. The microwave wasn’t working, even after a few tries. I wish there is also ventilation in the room, without needing to open the windows, since mosquitoes would get in.
• Jane (8/5): We had a very enjoyable stay in Ghent despite poor weather. This apartment is in an ideal location. - Very good location in a quiet area in between the station and city centre. Apartment was spacious and very clean. Being English we would have liked a kettle! Also bowls and spoons. A welcome pack of essentials -tea, coffee, milk would have been nice.
• Renata (10/5): Strongly recommended all around. - Thanks to Lauren for a wonderful stay at her brand new refurbished apartment! It was perfect for three travellers. Getting to the center of Ghent was easy and quick. Highly recommend using a rental bike. Easy to park right outside the house. The apartment has pleasant decor, a great bed, good kitchen facilities, excellent towels and toiletries and more than enough space to have an enjoyable stay. As the first guests, we had some unexpected challenges. Lauren was super responsive in taking care of them and of us. She also reacted immediately to our late reservation on the same day and provided for everything we needed and more. We felt that our needs were a priority. Strongly recommended all around.
