Very handy to be able to use a washing machine for no extra cost. Nothing really. Pool was a bit too cold! But beginning of Sept, this is to be expected
• Sophie (10/5): Beautiful spot in Alice Springs - Ian and Helen were amazing hosts and helped us with everything we needed. The house was clean and beautifully presented and the buffet breakfast was delicious! Would highly recommend staying here to explore Alice Springs and surrounds.
• Kay (10/5): - This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. A beautifully designed house. We were in the upstairs suite for 4 nights, had our own separate lounge area. Bedroom was very spacious and doors opened out onto a terrace which overlooked the pool area. We loved being able to help ourselves to the very substantial breakfast. Interacting with other guests is a bonus in my view, especially if you have been travelling by yourself for a while. Wilmots on Dixon is a credit to the owners and thoroughly recommended.
• Joan (10/5): A glorious hidden gem just outside the city centre - This peaceful accommodation offers well-equipped rooms with comfortable beds, TV, ample storage, dressing gowns, and toiletries and we slept soundly both nights. Shared spaces feature several outdoor areas with seating, BBQs, a pool, laundry facilities, and a spacious indoor lounge, dining room, and kitchen, each room even has its own fridge allocated to it in the kitchen area. Lots of travel tips and information plus a reading book library. Prepare your own breakfast in your own relaxed way from a wide selection: yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, breads, the fluffiest homemade muffins, and all you need for a full English breakfast (or Ozzie Fry Up!), omelettes, or various other egg styles. Plenty of jams and spreads are available. The guilty pleasure after your big feast — you don’t wash up or clean up after breakfast. It's definitely worth a stay, and a taxi from Alice Springs Todd Street/The Library costs just $20.
• Karen (10/5): We can’t speak more highly for a stay at Wilmonts on Dixon. It surpassed all expectations and was the best B&B exper - This was the perfect place for our 8 night stay in Alice Springs. Plenty of areas to relax and cool off after a day out sightseeing. The breakfast choices were outstanding with everything provided for you to cook up a storm if you wished. Fresh fruit, home made muesli and muffins were a real treat. Comfy bed and pillows and a fabulous shower head! There are 3 separate sleeping wings and a shared kitchen. You can mingle with the other guests or find a quiet space for solitutde. Ian and Helen made us feel very welcome in their purpose built B&B, their local knowledge on what to see and do with your time in Alice was invaluable.

There is a common kitchen area for you to prepare your own dinners if required and 3 separate BBQ areas for quests. The breakfasts are fantastic with everything you could wish for, and Helen makes the most amazing muffins. If you are looking to get away from the hotel experience in your red centre holiday then this is the place to stay We could not have a higher recommendation. Nothing negative to report it was perfect

The hosts were super thoughtful and there were loads of lovely little touches like the citronella candles to stop us getting bitten by mosquitos!

• Douglas (10/5): Exceptional - The five of us stayed for 4 nights, and it was fabulous. We essentially had the entire house to ourselves (3 bedrooms) and the facilities are great. The bedrooms were great, as were the kitchen and lounge. Not to mention the three separate decks and the swimming pool. At first the location seemed a bit remote (in the northern most suburb of Alice) thus you need your own car, but even that ended up being a plus. The garden and pool backed on to a hill top, and on two of the four days a kangaroo came right down within 3 meters of the back fence to drink out of a water hole. The breakfasts were great as well. we could not have asked for more.

What else could you expect travelling ? There is a nice little pool and we saw Kangaroos just near the fence!
• Fiona (10/5): Peaceful oasis in the desert - Helen and Ian’s place is a little private oasis and they have taken such trouble to ensure their guests are comfortable and cared for. The garden at the back is beautifully peaceful and there’s a little pool guests can use to cool down. When we arrived we were lucky enough to see a kangaroo on open scrubland on the other side of the fence at the back of the garden. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and it was peaceful and quiet. Couldn’t have asked for anything better after a long drive from Kings Canyon

Set in a peaceful part of Alice, but not far from attractions. Owners both helpful and friendly. We bought our own food but they kept asking if we wanted breakfast as they'd feed us and let us check out late. Nice people. Nothing.

• Laura (10/5): Best accommodation I have ever stayed in! - This place was my dream home! Helen and Ian have created a wonderful home that is absolutely beautifully decorated…inside and out! The pool and gardens were a little oasis. They set out provision for a breakfast feast each morning. The kitchen was well stalked with everything you needed to cook dinner if you don’t want to go to a restaurant. They were extremely helpful in their recommendations for local attractions and assisting with logistics. I would rate this place as a 15 out of 10 if I could. I far surpassed all other accommodations we stayed during our month in Australia! No negatives whatsoever

We had the upstairs wing, which had a large bedroom, full ensuite, separate lounge and private balcony. The breakfasts were amazing. Eggs, bacon, mushrooms, haloumi, tomatoes, cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruits and homemade muffins. Delicious. Would not consider staying anywhere else. Do yourself a favour and try this fabulous home stay, you won't regret it. There is nothing we didn't like. Highly recommend this property.

The serve yourself breakfast has a big choice, the rooms are very clean and each room has a patio area with a BBQ for their own use. The stay was too short, I wish I could have stayed longer.

The accommodation is excellent, breakfast us excellent, it is a peaceful space with excellent amenities....basically it is an excellent B and B. We found the bed a bit hard but it's tricky to find a bed to suit different people.
