Zimmer Frühstück gebucht, Frühstück eher mässig, könnte besser sein, alles mit Aufpreis wie Jus Toast ect. Man kann Essen aber nur bis 17Uhr dann wird alles geschlossen. Wein gibts nicht ( kein Alkohol) man darf selber bringen und es gibt Weingläser und kühler.

• Anna (10/5): Super great stay, but you need to either pay for breakfast or go hungry. - The property is very clean, the hostess is wonderful, very nice, helpful and carrying. The mattress was comfy and everything was great. The free breakfast was next to nothing, really disappointing. You get either one egg, or a cream cheese bagel or two small pancakes with a bit of jam. That’s by far not enough.

The breakfast could have a little bit more variety for the bed-and-breakfast package. It also could have like a little muffin or something made a little special in the morning instead of our choice of five very simple items. The food was very tasty, but after four days, I got to be a little boring. Especially yogurt could be a standard menu item.

• Jan (8/5): Für eine Nacht absolut empfehlenswert, sehr nette Chefin! - Zimmer im besonderen traditionellen Stil. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Frühstück einfach und gut. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend! Tischdecke aus Plastik zum Schutz. Kein so gemütliches Frühstück.

Le cadre est très sympa avec un jardin en espalier et en haut, on a une vue sur le st laurent. il y a 4 chats "savannah" qui rendent aussi l'endroit "exotique". le SPA est super (jaccuzy et sauna à disposition gratuitement). Le petit déjeuner est correct Info pour les gros mangeurs, le petit déjeuner est correct (avec un choix à faire pour une plat) mais si une grosse faim, et vous voulez autre chose que ce qui est proposé comme choix de menu, alors c'est en supplément

• Kerstin (10/5): Ein sehr gemütliches Hotel mit ausgezeichneten Gastgebern. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen! - Das Hotel war das beste auf unserer bisherigen Reise. Die Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und man hat eine persönliche umfassende Einweisung erhalten. Die Einrichtung war gemütlich. Die Beleuchtung das Gardens abends war wunderschön. Interessant waren auch die Savanna-Katzen. Den Whirlpool haben wir nicht genutzt, aber auch der Bereich so schön aus. Nichts!

Dans la grande chambre que nous occupions il n'y avait pas de garde-robe, ou de penderie, à part quelques cintres sur des crochets derrière la porte. Pas très pratique.

• John (7/5): A nice place to stay. - Comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was disappointing. Main door locked, bell didn’t work and had to ring phone number to get receptionist to attend. As I am from England the phone call was effectively from England this was expensive and unnecessary if the door was open or the bell operational. It would put me off staying again.

• Michele (9/5): Lovely country inn with breakfast and lovely gardens. - The auberge is a beautiful building with whimsical and well maintained gardens. Our room was clean and comfortable with views over the kitchen garden and rural area. The breakfast (included in our stay) was very good. Francine who welcomed us when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. Not a dislike but something to consider when booking: It is 3.5 km from the village so we had to drive back to get dinner but for us it was not a disadvantage as it was scenic (stunning sunset views at the lookout en route) and it was very quiet and peaceful.

• Susie (9/5): Great guest house in delightful surroundings - We very much enjoyed our stay at Auberge Daina and really liked the ethos underlying the place: e.g. all tips are given to the organisation it supports in helping the local community. The room was well equipped and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and we were given a very warm welcome. The location was a few kilometres out of town and as the bistro shuts at 6pm it was necessary to go back to St Paul for dinner, but not an issue for us. Lovely garden beautifully maintained - and plenty of (free) parking. There was a little road noise - we were at the front of the hotel - so if this bothers you, it might be worth asking for a quiet room when booking. Although the breakfast was generous, it was rather heavy for me - perhaps offering an option of cereal/granola yogurt fruit etc would be worth considering - and it would be lovely to be able to enjoy it in the garden as the dining room is a little dreary.
