• Tammy (10/5): We loved our stay and will be booking again !! - Location, amenities and overall ambience was perfect I didn’t realise we were up 2 flights of stairs - being 8 months pregnant- made that a little challenging - however this is not an issue with the property - 100% would stay again!!

• Lisa (9/5): - The views were incredible ... you could never tire of them ... beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Beds super comfy too. The glass doors go right bk to soak in the view. Could do with comfy seating on the balcony . There are chairs but more for dining really. Did suggest this and the owners took that on board. There isnt a lift so less mobile may find it tricky

• Madison (9/5): A calm and serene holiday experience in a beautifully done up apartment. - Loved how beautifully renovated this apartment is. A lovely, calming spot on the river and in walking distance of many entertainment spots and dining precincts.

• Janet (9/5): Enjoyable and would stay again if available at right price - Location close to river and shopping. Balcony was well used by us. Lighting of stairs at night when leaving. Issue with water leaking in second bathroom caused some email correspondence and inconvenience over keys. No particular acknowledgement by managers. Table on balcony too big and smaller one with loungers would be better.
• Kerrie (8/5): - The view up and down the Maroochy River is beautiful. Improvements could be made to the apartment including replacing the furniture especially the couch as the arm is loose, and the tatty cushions; the thin floor rugs which are stained; blinds are needed in the sunny lounge area; there is no door between the bedroom and ensuite; no mattress protector; there was a musty smell throughout and the apartment did not ‘smell’ clean nor was it sparkling. The kitchen is well equipped but tea towels too old: the lighting in all areas is too dull and especially bathrooms. Nowhere in the spiel is it mentioned there was no lift and 28 stairs to climb with luggage to the apartment no. 8 on 2nd floor needs to be noted. It is a nice apartment but could be a great apartment.
• Robyn (9/5): Superb - A busy street behind us, however a quiet apartment and peaceful river frontage living. Beautifully renovated, modern but warm and welcoming, even to the local birdlife!! Nothing we didn't like, however, to improve the stay, a few little extras, such as a box of tissues, spare dishcloth and bin liner, steelo or something for cleaning up sticky dishes, and maybe a pod machine of coffee plunger for us coffee snobs!! Also, we may have missed the information, but advise of two flights of stairs. This is not a complaint at all, just suggestions.
• Robyn (5/5): Riverview Apartment. - The Apartment was nice & clean & the Beds comfortable. The view from the Apartment was beautiful overlooking the River. I loved the quiet location. The Washing Machine didn't work & the instruction Booklet I couldn't locate. The Dryer was upside down so had to bend down to Floor to operate it. Switched Lamps on side of Bed & they blew, tripping Switch in Power Board in Kitchen . A 4 slice Toaster was provided but when I put Toast in 2 sides once again the Power Switch in Kitchen was tripped. A few more creature comforts would have been nice like a Coffee Table or just a small nest of Tables to put a Cup of Tea on. Thankfully I had bought a Washing Basket & Pegs to use. I'm very grateful to the Girls from Sunshine Coast Getaways Office. They were always very nice & Ruby came out when I was having difficulties. On the whole I coped & was very grateful to have a nice clean Apartment. Kind regards.

• Chris (8/5): Really liked the place and would stay again - Love the place and the jetty so me and my son got plenty of fish time in The noise from pub that went all night and early into the morning
• Mark (8/5): Very good - Very clean and great view damage to dining table leg - was notified of the issue before we arrived some very small bugs found the kitchen area
• Karla (8/5): Amazing location, views for days! - The view is incredible, really really incredible, you couldnt be more on the water. The kitchen is a good size with a really large fridge. 2 aircons which was great. Very central, everything in walking distance. Sunshine Coast Getaways were able to accommodate a complimentary early check-in and late check out which was very appreciated. Couch is definitely due for a professional clean some big stains were off putting so sat strategically to avoid them, the doona covers were stained and due to be washed. The speakers on the TV seems to be on there way out. The background audio was fine but voices seem to fade in and out which made it really hard to listen to, this happened on TV, DVD YouTube, Stan, Netflix etc. I would definitely reinvest in a new TV and a coffee table would be helpful as there was nowhere to put your drink when sitting on the couch.

• Alfred (6/5): - Quite large and open They have done a good job of the renovations in the unit 2 bedroom it requires an air con in the second bedroom It only has a ceiling fan which did not work They were gracious enough to supply a cheap fan which had a red light so bright I did not use 3 nights of quite warm nights Very clean and well appointed I think that they need to either tint the large sliding glass doors or put up block out curtains or both I am a fit 68 year old walking up the stairs no big deal If you are not you could be doing a bit of puffing Overall bit expensive but thats Australia now However I think they are doing a good job

• Peter (8/5): - The property itself was well positioned as it was close to all ammenities with a lovely view also. However, the managing agent - Sunshine Coast Getaways- treated us very poorly indeed, as they accused us of withholding the key to the property upon our departure. With no reception desk to the property, the key was collected from and returned to a lock box with combination code. Instructions provided to us were followed, with the key returned upon departure as directed. However, my husband received a very rude phone call from the agency stating their cleaner could not find the key and that the key was required due to “guests arriving “ that day. When I contacted the agency, I received an apology- the cleaner had, apparently, only “shaken “ the lock box and assumed the key was not within. I am astounded as to why the cleaner did not open the box, and more so that the agency did not direct the cleaner to do so. Instead, we were made to feel like criminals. The apology was too little too late, and has left us with a most unpleasant feeling after what should have been a pleasant experience for our little family. I would recommend that the agency, in future, asks the appropriate questions of the cleaner to ascertain the facts, and speaks with respect to guests. I would also recommend that guests photograph or video their placement of the key in the lock box and forward this to the agency if they desire no repeat of such a debacle.

• Hamknee (10/5): excellent - It was awesome, many little perks to it and was very enjoyable, couldn’t hear any neighbours or anything only downfall was no sanitary bin in bathrooms

• Marie (6/5): Pleasant - Was very clean, and had everything that was needed. View was spectacular. On arrival, our lock up garage was opened an unusable. Was not informed of this when we booked. Resident told us it had been like that for weeks. Inside unit was a letter addressed to me advising about the garage and was told to park in the visitors carpark which was in the open, and only 4 or 5 parks which were full most of the time. When I rang Cathy she was very matter of factish about it, and wouldn't listen (over talked me all the time.) Informing me they couldn't get anyone to fix for 6 weeks. I asked for some reimbursement and was offered $56.the amount was made up of $8 day parking in a non lockup spare block of land up the road. We received $51.40 guessing they took GST out of it. My main disappointment was not being told about this when we booked and left with a note. Your 2nd question how was the staff Answer:. Didn't see anyone.
