• Hirofumi (1/5): 不潔 - 部屋が広い。 オーナーの人柄は良い。 原因は分からなかったがとにかく部屋中が臭い。生乾き臭がして非常に不潔。 3日間で10匹以上のゴキブリが出て不快だった。 booking.comに記載の住所が正確ではなく、ホテルの場所を探すのに苦労した。 オーナーに連絡しても返事が遅い。

• Maria (10/5): Perfect place for your vacation - Our stay in these apartments was the best in Cape Verde. Stylish, comfortable, very clean, with a washing machine and everything you need in the kitchen for a long stay. Marie and Pierre (the hosts) were incredibly nice and recommended many good cafes and restaurants, and organized a tour and taxi. I highly recommend these apartments.
• Ana Belén (1/5): CUIDADO: OBRAS ACTIVAS EN EL EDIFICIO DURANTE NUESTRA ESTANCIA - Nuestra estancia fue desagradable. El apartamento se encuentra en un edificio con obras activas, no se trataba de trabajos puntuales, sino de actividad constructiva diaria en otros apartamentos del mismo edificio, incluidos los situados justo encima del alojamiento. Durante todos los días de la estancia se realizaron trabajos con taladros, radiales y martillazos, generando un ruido constante desde las 7:30 de la mañana hasta más allá de las 17:00, lo que hizo imposible cualquier descanso. Uno de los andamios estaba instalado directamente en la fachada del dormitorio, y desde primera hora de la mañana los obreros trabajaban junto a nuestra ventana, con escombros cayendo y golpeando el cristal. Durante la estancia se instalaron además más andamios en la fachada frontal, con presencia continua de obreros y zonas comunes llenas de polvo, escombros, cables, cubos de pintura y materiales de obra. Nada de esta situación nos fue informada antes de la reserva, lo que consideramos una falta de transparencia hacia el huésped. Además, observamos presencia reiterada de cucarachas en el baño y en la cocina, incluso entre platos y cubiertos, lo que hizo incómodo el uso de la cocina. La ubicación del edificio tampoco coincide con la información publicada en Booking. En Google Maps / Street View (octubre de 2025) el edificio aparece en fase inicial de desarrollo, por lo que las opiniones anteriores no parecen reflejar la situación real actual del alojamiento. La gestión del propietario, según nuestra experiencia, fue insatisfactoria, negando hechos evidentes pese a existir vídeos y fotografías, minimizando la situación y enviando mensajes con advertencias legales, en lugar de ofrecer una solución. Vamos a solicitar el reembolso íntegro y una compensación por los perjuicios sufridos, aportando todas las pruebas por las vías correspondientes. No recomendamos este alojamiento en las condiciones actuales.

• Ben (10/5): An excellent apartment for the beach and shops. - An excellent place to stay. Marie Pierre was an amazing host. She was very kind and helpful. Sol Azul is very well located for the large supermarkets and the beach. We did have a power cut one night and sometimes the internet was slow or went off, but neither of that is Marie Pierre's fault. Sometimes the water pressure was down but if you wait half an hour it would be back up. I was very comfortable in this apartment for two weeks. I would definitely recommend it. If there was a family staying, they might need more plates and bowls, but it was enough for me.
• Nidia (10/5): 100% recommended - Marie, was great with us from the beginning till the end, very kind, we arrived late and she was there waiting for us, she let us leave late also, as our boat was around midnight, she was fantastic, the apartment is very cosy, has everything you need and close to the beach. Spot on.

I called her and she told me that I have not booked the apartment. In fact, I booked and went there. She said that there was a mistake but I don't know what the mistake because there was no mistake according to me. I booked and went there. While waiting on the door, I s called her and she told me that it is not free but I told her that I have booked and there is no cancellation. Even she cut the phone as well. Later, one local guy was near by me and then I told about my situation and he called the owner and talked with her. After a long time, she asked thta guy to try and find a place for me or something like that. I don't know what they talked becasue this guy could not speak English , we were using sign language and of course he understood that I booked it there. Finally, this guy took em around and after many hussle, we finally found a apartment and got a place to stay. It was my first time in Sal and it was very bad experience. I have travelled to many places, and never had this kind of problem. I don't blame anyone but it is what has happened. May be it was my luck. So, I did not stay at this apartment. Also, I got the request to give review by email twice and of course the system knows that I booked the apartment which is a proof that I booked the apartment.
