- Aura (10/5): We got more than nice accommodation ! - Mahmoud was an extraordinary host! Since our arrival, he picked us up at the bus station and took us for a late dinner. Next day he invited us to a breakfast and showed us his Alabasto store, soooo many beautiful things there! We didn't know he also offers tours and we had already 2 days fully booked with an agency, nevertheless, on our free day he took us to other temples, waited for us, took us sailing on the Nile and to the Banana Island. Every food he recommended was delicious! He was always very kind and polite. He made us feel comfortable and safe. The location of the hostel was not in the middle of the city, but on the quite site of Luxor, to be honest, we preferred that. With him driving us, the location was never an issue. It is also very convenient if you are planning to do the air ballon activity. Both rooms of the accommodation had air conditioner. We are really grateful we met him, it definitely impact on us having an amazing experience in Luxor! There was not soap in the bathrooms and toilet paper run out, but in general the place was really nice. It seems we were the first guests there, so I am sure, for the next people that come, the place will be even better!
