• Ean (1/5): Worst apartment booking experience of my life. - Location is nice (but so close to the tube that the apartment rumbles every 3 - 5 minutes). They accommodated an early check-in. In short, I've never felt so ripped off by a hotel or apartment rental, you are much better off spending your money on ANY other hotel in this neighborhood. Here's the full list of what's wrong with this unit: 1. Noise - The store downstairs is in the middle of a multi-month renovation, we spoke to the crew and they've been at this for a month and will be for many months more. No mention of this. Hope you weren't planning on sleeping past 8am or listening to anything except drills and hammers M-Sa. 2. More Noise - Ah yes, after 5pm this noise is replaced with the low rumble of the tube every 3 - 5 min. This goes until the tube closes late at night. 3. Black Mold in the Hallway - The ceiling area directly outside your door is covered in black mold. Hope you're not allergic. 4. Fire Alarm Noise - After accommodating our early check-in (after an 11 hr flight), the fire alarm started going off. They did not fix this for 6 hrs! By this point my friend left to get a different hotel. 5. No bathroom door - I hope you and your partner are quite close, the toilet stares at the master bed. No door in between the two, which they have cleverly photographed in such a way as to hide this fact. 6. They buy 5 star reviews - Upon asking for compensation for the replacement hotel costs, they proceeded to negotiate from $150 - $450 (of my $1,750 paid) in exchange for a 5 star review. Upon completing that review, they shorted me and only sent $242. Beware any good reviews for this unit or this company.
