• Raoul (8/5): - De host was ontzettend vriendelijk en ook het zwembad was geweldig voor mijn kids. De omgeving is, ondanks dat het aan een drukke weg ligt, prima en voelt sereen. De kolibries en leguanen zijn in de buurt. Er zijn ook prima restaurants in de buurt en de afstand naar Tayrona Park is redelijk dichtbij. De kamer was groot, mooi ingericht, maar had wat comfortabeler kunnen zijn. De deur sloot niet goed, tenzij op slot gedaan en er waren kieren waardoor er een aantal insecten binnen kwamen. Je zit in de jungle dat ben ik me bewust, alleen dit had simpel opgelost kunnen worden. Ook een aantal kussens bij de bedden bij het zwembad zou het comfort verhogen.

Victor was very helpful over WhatsApp and in-person regarding transport and tips for the area. The room is basic but good value for money. The room was clean and free of insects when we arrived. Pool is very nice. Simple breakfast was tasty. Lighting in the room could be a bit softer, the gaps between the doors/windows could easily allow in insects attracted by the light at night. Bed not the most comfortable but ok for the price.

• Andra Elena (4/5): - Our stay was cancelled on the day of check-in due to an issue with the room, which meant we had to find alternative accommodation while already on our way. This caused considerable inconvenience and frustration. As a result, we had to book another property at the last minute, which was more expensive and offered fewer amenities. We are also disappointed with how Booking handled the situation, as they did not agree to cover the price difference for the replacement accommodation, even though it was within the proposed budget. While we understand that unexpected issues can occur, the overall experience was not satisfactory, and unfortunately we were the ones who had to bear the consequences of this situation.

• Cris (9/5): Buena opción de alojamiento fuera del parque pero próximo - Instalaciones en la naturaleza con arboleda y animales autóctonos, además de piscina. A 1,5- 2 km de la entrada del Zaino de Tayrona, un paseo. Con establecimientos cerca para comer o cenar. Te ofrecen comida para llevar si vas al parque temprano a precio razonable resultando muy cómodo. Al día siguiente de estar alojados nos guardaron amablemente las mochilas allí, mientras ibamos a la caminata para el parque de Tayrona, pero se agradeceria que después de la caminata de ida y vuelta al parque, que te dieran la opción de dar un agua en la piscina o en su ducha antes de coger la mochila y marchar.

Nice relaxing pool. Very helpful employee who kept us informed of the park closure, getting us an extra night as our glamping was cancelled, getting us a taxi for our return and getting us a lunch for our bus ride to our next stop Cartegena. There was no hot water in the shower. We asked for 2 beds, got 1 double bed and 1 mattress that we had to pull out from under the bed.

Nothing bad to remark. Everything was very good and better than expected.

• Lara (10/5): Great stay and host - A really great place to stay for visiting Tayrona - Victor was super helpful, our room was lovely and the pool was great. Victor even offered to let us stay way beyond our check out time and enjoy the pool and recommended a walk for us to do.
• Oskar Dario Olrik (10/5): - Et af de bedste steder vi har boet i på vores tur. Ejeren er simpelthen indbegrebet af god og ekstra service. Han er opsøgende, uden at være anmassende, men vil blot sikre sig at man har det godt og at man ved han er der for at hjælpe med både ting på hotellet men især også hvis man har spørgsmål omkring området og ture man kunne tage på. Der er en dejlig afslappet stemning med gode rummelige værelser. Godt isoleret fra de andre værelser med stort dejlig badeværelse (vi havde oven i købet badekar). Man kan mærke at ejeren går op i at tingene er gjort ordenligt ift. rengøring og generel service. Hostellet ligger tæt på et par restauranter som serverer god mad (vi var ofte på The coconuts, som laver meget billig og god mad). Kun 2 km. fra Tayrona Parque, så vi gik til indgangen. Der går busser lige fra vejen hvis man vil udforske andre dele af området end blot Taryona. - Vandfaldet ved Valencia er en kæmpe anbefaling herfra. Der er lidt larm fra vejen, da det er en gennemkørselsveje, men det havde ingen påvirkning på vores oplevelse.

• Christine (10/5): Beautiful hostal with pool in a great location, close to the entry to Tayrona National Park. - The Hostal is in a great location on the river and we had a large room with a view of the river which was great. You can see much wildlife in the garden and along the river: birds, squirrels, butterflies, parrots all come through. We even saw an Osprey sitting in one of the trees. The pool is in perfect condition and quite large, with an area to swim and a jacuzzi type of area to hang out. The property has many places on several levels to sit, relax, watch wildlife or play. They are well prepared for occasional power outages as they have a solar system with batteries that powers essentials (like lighting) in case of an outage. The manager, Victor, is very attentive and helpful. We are travelling with a small dog which meant we couldn't get into the national park and he helped us find places just outside the park to visit. Overall easily the best place to stay in our whole trip throughout Colombia. Nothing that we didn't like. The only thing I can think of would be flyscreen doors (which I haven't seen anywhere in Colombia). They are fantastic to keep mosquitoes out while allowing a fresh breeze in the room at night.

L'endroit est charmant, c est un joli petit jardin intérieur facile d accès par la route principale où les bus s'arrêtent directement devant (pour accès au parc Tayrona ou pour aller vers Santa Martha, Cartagene ou Palomino). Belle piscine, bon wifi, bon petit déjeuner inclus. Hamac en terrasse de chambre. L'eau coule un peu de la douche donc ça innonde un peu le plancher. Eau froide de la douche.

• Marie-Eve (10/5): Piscine agréable après une journée de Trek dans le parc Tayrona - La piscine est un plus. Chaque chambre est isolée des autres. Comme de petits bungalow. L’accueil de Victor qui parle très bien anglais est un grand atout. Il nous donne de bons conseils et m’a même accompagnée pour le bus. Super sandwich pour déjeuner inclus dans le prix. Parfait pour une journée de randonnée à Tayrona. Des restos à proximités et même un petit supermarché . Possibilité d’utiliser la cuisine pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner. Rien. Route passante mais tous les hôtels sont sur la bord de la route ici. Donc pas un point vraiment négatif
• Nan Dus (9/5): Relax - Lugar ideal si como yo vas a conocer la zona y más en especial el parque Tayrona ya que está a unos 10-12 minutos caminando de la entrada principal de El Zaino a pie de a carretera. Un sitio cómodo y bonito, su personal encantador, la habitación perfecta, con aire acondicionado y ventilador, fuera una bonita piscina con zonas de descanso, cocina compartida y frigorífico grande en el exterior, perfecto la verdad. Nosotros quedamos encantados, además dispone de parqueadero por si vas en auto. Por decir algo el ruido de los camiones que pasan por la carretera, pero yo al menos la segunda noche lo solucioné con unos tapones para los oídos lo de no disponer de agua caliente es secundario ya que hace muy buena temperatura.

Tiene una piscina cómoda, no es un hotel muy grande, por ende no se siente muchas personas. En el baño el agua salía a muy poca presión, era como un chorrito y olía un poco a humedad.

• JENNIFER (10/5): Tayrona 2025 - Su ubicación muy cerca a la entrada el zaino del parque Tayrona, justo en frente pasa el bus de ida y vuelta, la piscina fue maravillosa después de llegar del Tayrona relajante, los desayunos muy buenos, la atención en general muy buena y su anfitriona Toti es divina! La habitación es grande y cómoda tiene todo lo necesario. Es fácil llegar desde el mercado o desde mamatoco.

• Maxim (8/5): Très jouette hôtel, près de l’entrée du parc Tayrona - Le personnel était aux petits soins avec nous. On est arrivé vers 19h30 et ils nous ont cuisiné un repas juste pour nous. Ils nous ont donné une meilleure chambre que prévu, elle était très spacieuse avec une grande terrasse. Ils nous ont également laissé garer notre voiture chez eux pendant toute la randonnée de Tayrona (2jours). Ils ont également une très grande piscine. On était à 1,4km de l’entrée de Tayrona, ce qui est assez pratique. On a pas eu d’eau chaude et le lit était un peu dur.
• Andrea (10/5): Fantástico - Habitaciones muy cómodas, personal muy amable y atento. La piscina es un plus super importante si estás viajando por la zona. Desayunos ricos y opción para cenar en el alojamiento. La atención de Víctor fue excelente, incluso nos recomendó sitios para visitar que nos encantaron. También se puede llegar al Zaino caminando, además de que pasan los buses por la puerta con bastante frecuencia. En general, solo tenemos buenos comentarios sobre este alojamiento, sin duda ha sido el mejor de nuestro viaje por Colombia.

• Leire (10/5): Paz y tranquilidad en la selva - Todo. La piscina, el lugar, que tuviera aire acondicionado, el desayuno, y el personal. Para ir al Tayrona y alrededores está en un lugar perfecto. Dentro del hostal te preparan la comida y la cena si lo pides con antelación y todo lo que comimos estaba muy rico. El dueño fue muy amable en todo momento.

• Judit (9/5): Estancia genial, repetiriamos! - Trato muy cercano de Victor, dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. Ubicado a 10 min en buseta de entrada el Zaino del Parque Tayrona y a 1 h desde Santa Marta. Piscina divina para refrescarse y descansar después de un día en el parque, hamacas y espacio comodo y muy cuidado. Cama comoda, ventilador y aire acondicionado en la habitación. Nos hicieron servicio lavandería a muy buen precio. Desayuno de sandwich mixto con huevo muy completo, también se puede comer y cenar allí algo sencillo. No hay agua caliente y chorro de ducha justo.
• Lorena (10/5): Recomendado! - Un lugar perfecto para visitar el Tayrona y la zona , y tambien poder relajarte y disfrutar de los espacios que tiene el hostal, como la piscina, hamacas, el rio.. estaba todo muy limpio y las instalaciones estaban muy bien, con aire y ventilador. Tienen servicio de cena , y el desayuno rico y abundante. Todo genial , volveria a repetir!

• Miriam (10/5): Perfect Hotel to visit Parque Tayrona and the surroundings. - Our room was lovely with its own small terrace, comfortable beds and a big bathroom. Breakfast was very good, and for dinner/lunch there where enough good options in walking distance. During our stay we visited Parque Tayrona, did tubing on Rio Don Diego and visited Playa Mendihuaca. Going there was very easy by just stopping a public bus going by. After the activities we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful pool. Best of all was the host Victor, who was super welcoming and friendly and had a lot of tips for activities, which he can easily organize if you want. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

El hotel tiene buenas instalaciones con una piscina grande y fabulosa, y esta muy cerca de la taquila de entrada al tayrona y cerca a pie de varios restaurantes para comer/cenar. La cena muy rica y económica. El trato de Víctor fue fantástico, nos ayudó muchísimo con todo y nos dio buenos consejos. Recomendadisimo.

• Katherine (10/5): A beautiful oasis very close to Zaino entrance with an incredibly helpful owner - We had a fantastic stay at Eco Hostal Kuima. The owner, Victor, was incredibly helpful from start to finish with help on travel and great advice on restaurants (pizza, tacos and Victorias for lunch). There were some issues with the park whilst we were there but he advised us to walk to the entrance (only 20 minutes) and we were able to get in (with the plus side being it was free!). Tayrona is spectacular - well well worth the hike. We saw monkeys, iguanas, crabs, various birds and an alligator. Would recommend Piscina beach as well as Cabo San Juan. We got packed lunches from victor which were also great - tasty and better value than food in the park. On the second day there we just chilled at the hotel, enjoying the pool and reading books from the hammock whilst watching the hummingbirds dart about. Also on the first night there was a massive thunderstorm and the power went out but they had solar back up which kept most things working and they fed us all amidst the thunder and lightning. Nothing - it was fabulous!
• Marina (9/5): - Tutto perfetto! La posizione è molto comoda a 5 minuti di autobus dall'entrata del parco. Le camere sono spaziose, la piscina è grande ed è molto utile per riposarsi dopo una giornata di trekking. La colazione è buona, e lo staff è sempre disponibile ad aiutare, fornire informazioni, rendere il soggiorno piacevole.

• Charlotte (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf bij supervriendelijke host - De eigenaar is supervriendelijk! Hij gaf ons veel informatie, beantwoordde al onze vragen en we mochten ook onze bagage bij hem laten tijdens ons verblijf in Tayrona NP. Ze voorzien ontbijt en op vraag maken ze een lunchpakket om mee te nemen naar het park. Wanneer we onze bagage terug kwamen ophalen mochten we nog in het zwembad en van de buiten faciliteiten gebruik maken. Je voelt je hier echt heel welkom. De kamer was proper, goede airco en met een terrasje. Je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt en het is ook goed gelegen om Tayrona te bezoeken. Op paar minuten stappen zijn er eetgelegenheden voor als je 's avonds iets wil gaan eten.
• Wendy (10/5): Fijne hostel - Wij kregen van de eigenaar een heel ruime kamer met twee aparte bedden toen hij zag hoe groot wij zijn. 😉Zeer sympathieke eigenaar trouwens! Fijn zwembad, lekker ontbijt en perfecte locatie om naar Tayrona NP te gaan. De bus stopt bijna voor de deur en is maar 10 minuten rijden tot ingang El Zaino.

• Miranda (10/5): We hebben twee weken genoten en willen eigenlijk niet weg. - De vriendelijkheid van Victor en Jomali! Ze hebben ons met alles geholpen. Vervoer, tips voor de omgeving, wandelen, gezellig kletsen en ze hielpen zelfs met mijn gebroken teen. Wat een lieve zorg! De plek is een oase van rust met een heerlijk zwembad en prachtige tuin aan de rivier. De ruime kamers hebben allen een terras met hangmat en worden om de dag schoongemaakt met frisse lakens en handdoeken. Het ontbijt is voortreffelijk. De plek biedt ook een keuken met koelkast voor de gasten en vele plekjes om te chillen. Je pakt gemakkelijk de bus voor de deur naar Tayrona en andere bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Niets.

• Alex (10/5): - The hosts were very friendly and assisted in exploring the area and using public transport. The accommodation was spacious with a big shower and built in clothes line. The area has lots of space to hang outside and appreciate the nature. The bathroom sink occasionally leaked as the water seeped through the wood.

• Alex (10/5): Excellent hostel - would use again - The hostel manager Victor was extremely helpful; he gave us advice numerous times about trips, tours, booked us a taxi, arranged packed lunches for when we wanted a day in Tayrona Park, etc. Nothing seemed like an inconvenience to him. He also allowed us to check in 90 mins early. Hostel was clean, rooms were a good size, had a lovely pool area (again good size) and was good value for money. Was 1km walk to the park which was helpful and had a handful of nice restaurants and cafes nearby (on the main road just outside). Would 100% use again and recommend to friends and family.
• Tammy (9/5): Convenient and comfortable stay - We had a great stay! The room was comfortable and very clean. Air con worked great and even without it, the room itself felt quite airy and not too hot despite the temperatures along the coast. The pool is really clean and nice. The guest kitchen is also a perk. Overall, good amenities! Tayrona entrance is walkable or you can catch one of the buses that passes in front of the hostel. We liked the location and found it convenient. Highly recommended.
• RODRIGUEZ VALENCIA (10/5): Súper espectacular! - Realmente todo!! Las habitaciones e instalaciones se ven tal cual en las fotos, el señor Víctor fue el mejor anfitrión del mundo y personal que traba con el espectacular, lo que más me gustó fue que mis mascotas fueron atendidas como un huésped más y pudimos estar tranquilos con ellos cabe resaltar que eran 3 perros y un gato.. ellos estuvieron felices,también descansaron y disfrutaron de las instalaciones ya que no tienen restricciones para ellos:.. la verdad fue una estancia genial y estoy segura de que volveremos las veces que se pueda… ahhh y el desayuno delicioso! Y TOTI!! Dios la perrita más amorosa del universo… no deben perder la oportunidad de conocer este hotel
• Alex (10/5): Beautiful place! - We had an incredible stay at Eco Hostal Kuima. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and they had a patio outside to sit. The garden and the pool was anazing.We spent our last day just relaxing at the hotel. It was also a great place to do birdeatching from the terrace. They had two really cute dogs at the hotel aswell. Victor (hotel manager) really looked after us. He during our stay making us feel very welcome, recommended where to go in the national park, restaurants nearby to eat at ( La victoria and Pizza Tiki Hut On The Road both had great food) He also helped us with onward transportation to Minca. The main entrance to the national park (el zaino) is also only a 25 minute walk away. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay whilst you're visiting the national park. None
• Phoebe (10/5): Fabulous! You must stay here to visit Tayrona National Park - Loved the property! So peaceful, clean and great location to visit Tayrona National Park. The staff were so friendly and spoke perfect English and helped us navigate our visit including reccomendationa for dinner and getting the bus to Palomino. Loved the location it felt like our own private villa with beautiful gardens and corners to relax. We were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite which was so spacious and such a treat!

• Dj Cryss (8/5): Polecam - Bardzo miły właściciel, który zawsze służył pomocą. Czysty, duży basen. Do dyspozycji gości jest kuchnia, gril, altana. Blisko do wejścia El Zino park Tyrona. Bus zatrzymuje się przed "drzwiami". Przestronny pokój z dużą łazienką. Proste, ale dobre śniadanie. Zimna woda pod prysznicem, bardzo twarde łóżka. Lokalizacji daję mały minus, tylko za mały wybór restauracji/sklepów w poblizu.

Uprzejmy i wyluzowany właściciel organizował nam wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy :) Można posiedzieć w pięknych okolicznościach przyrody. Basen był bardzo czysty i zadbany. W ogrodzie można zaobserwować kolibry, piękne rośliny, a przy śniadaniu można przyglądać się iguanom wspinającym się na drzewa. Jest też bardzo towarzyski i łagodny piesek. Spędziliśmy tam miło czas :) Polecamy ! Mały minus za chłodną wodę, słabe ciśnienie i dość twarde materace. Mimo to, pobyt wspominamy bardzo dobrze

• Max (10/5): - Loved this place. Great host Victor and his family who were communicative and always helpful without ever being over bearing. It's got an amazing pool you can actually swim in. Comfortable ensuite rooms with style and comfort and a little bar for the evenings. Breakfast was also really good too. Highly recommend it here. The only thing I would have liked would have been a smaller light or two in the rooms

• Wouter (9/5): Gewoon goed! - Dicht bij de ingang van Tayrona park, waarbij de eigenaar ons ook nog heeft geholpen om een overnachting te reserveren (voor in het park). Backpacks konden we ook één nacht laten staan. Erg vriendelijk personeel, goede kamers met airco en een lekker zwembad. Paar goeie (colombiaanse) restaurants op loopafstand. Zit aan de drukke weg (wat tevens een voordeel is omdat je makkelijk de bus kan pakken).
