The interior paint and furniture were dated and I did not at all like the long brown hairs all over the unit from the last tenant or South American cleaning staff I saw in the building.

Mould all throughout the place including on the ceilings and in the kettle.
Dust literally everywhere including all over the lounge.
Paper thin towels the size of a tea towel for the bathroom, only one per person god forbid you need one for your hair, one tiny dingy bath mat. More of course for an additional fee ….
No paper towels, one tiny little roll of toilet paper, of course more for a fee ….
I’m not exactly sure what was meant to be including in the >$200/night price but I’ve stayed at cleaner and nicer hostels for half the cost.
Drain in shower doesn’t drain your in a foot of water each time you want to shower. Toilet was making sounds the whole time. Every possible fixture and fitting was old and rusted out. TV was the size of an A4 sheet of paper and had no casting capability, you had to stand behind it to change the Chanel.
Windows haven’t been cleaned in months. Curtains are filthy. The bed is tiny my partner and I barely fit in it and it’s soft and moves (on wheels).

Room was filthy and dated, stains on walls, carpets, hole in wall, shower hadn’t been cleaned, very low water pressure in shower, thick dust on all vents, on floors and cupboards. Broken bedroom patio door lock. Not at all as described on booking.com, photos are not true to what you actually get. Would never have booked this property had I known the true condition and how dated it was.

The location was also convenient, being right in front of a tram stop, which made getting around very easy. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The overall condition of the room felt quite rundown, with noticeable cleanliness issues. The walls appeared dirty with marks all over them and there was even a piece of chewing gum stuck in the corner of a wall in the bathroom shower area, which was pretty off-putting.

pool area clean. Car parking and access to the building well protected by excellent security. Apartment 601 needs a deep cleaning; we washed the Quilt and mattress/pillows protectors on the bed it was so very stained and dirty after a very hot intensive wash it become white again lucky the apartment had a great washer/dryer; I was annoyed that housekeeping doesn't pay attention to this. There was no housekeeping service during our 8 nights' stay we had to wash the towels and sheets to keep us going. The saucepans and fry pans are rusty. inside and outside of kitchen and wardrobes cupboards needed cleaning. Dishes had to be rewashed before using, the complex is very limited in the startup pack of essential items soaps shampoos dishwashing tablets toilet paper etc. be prepared to purchase some. Under the sofa was some soy sauce packets left by previous occupants lots of dirt and grime under cushions and under the bed and furniture. The apartment windows and sliding door glass dirty with caked on grime. Under the bathroom vanity was dirty including the walls with fingerprints and marks, The main hallway each day had a terrible scented product sprayed it was a terrible air freshener smell that really hung around. Light switches and tv remote dirty. We purchased cleaning products and cleaned it to make it have that less ick feeling. I have worked in housekeeping myself for 16 years and haven't seen a place with such limited cleaning taken place. It's a real shame. Cleaners need to be given more time or training to do deeper cleans on these apartments I would hate to see the state of the rest of them.

There were frozen food in the freezer and clothes left behind by the previous travellers. We had to pay for extra toilet paper…

It was great that a car park was included and the location is great with the tram stopping right out the front. The room was extremely worn with very old matched furniture, holes in the curtains, stains all over the carpet and rust in the bathroom. It definitely is due for a major renovation.

Despite being an older building clean and not musty smelling. Comfy bed Stayed for a week but had to buy further tea/coffee once complimentary ran out. Small quantities of shampoo, soap. No body wash. Limited dishwashing powder etc.

- Comfy bed - Room was dirty, particularly the bathroom which had smelly drains. Although this is to be expected if the room hasn't been used in a while, after my first shower, lots of flying bugs (dozens) came out of the drains. I told reception but they did not do anything.

Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, burgers, casino, shopping centers Hotel did not fix sliding door to main bedroom to access fresh air during my stay. unfortunately, they only have handyman coming in once a week due to costs they said. but customer should come first I thought.

À notre arrivée, l’appartement n’était pas très propre : beaucoup de poussière, hotte graisseuse, lave-vaisselle avec de l’eau stagnante et rideaux très sales (que j’ai dû laver moi-même car mon fils est allergique). Il manquait aussi plusieurs anneaux aux rideaux.
La deuxième chambre est très petite pour deux adultes et nous n’avons pas pu changer de chambre malgré notre demande.
De plus, il y avait beaucoup de bruit dû à un chantier à proximité.
Dans l’ensemble, une expérience décevante. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel.
- Mardi (10/5): - Palazzo Colonades has tram line out the front, so very easy to get to Pacific Fair for shopping and Cavill Ave. Also have a great bbq, pool spa, sauna and gym. Management and staff are lovely and very accommodating and treat you like family. We have stayed here everytime in the last 7 years when on holidays at the Gold Coast. Love this place, highly recommended

- Julie (10/5): Lovely holiday, will definitely be back - The property was in a really good position, quiet, right on the tram stop, but close enough to Cavill Avenue and all the night life. Apartment was clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I have nothing bad to say about the property
- Debra (4/5): Stayed one night out of 6 - Underground carpark The manager and her complete lack of empathy due to a death in our family cutting our stay short by 5 of the 6 nights. Being told "I'm running a business " was heartless and uncaring with no intention to help us move dates forward before we had to leave for a funeral. Told there was no availability when there was online. A rude and very sad end to our holiday. I would not recommend this property for more than just this issue.

There’s also a tram stop in front of the main entrance that connects you to everything. The apartment was clean with 2 balcony and a very cool view, internet was fast. Free carpark in the basement. Great value for money overall! The swimming pool was very clean but the jacuzzi was not working.

- Kath (9/5): Very good and accommodating. The location was superb, especially for the price. - The location was excellent, straight outside the tram station and down the street from the beach. Being outside the tram station meant easy access to key areas like Cavill Avenue and further to the theme parks. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The amenities supplied with the room were few, which we found ran out very quickly. Basics like salt and pepper, hand soap and more dish washing liquid would have been nice.

- Summer (10/5): It was great. - Location was great and facilities were superb. We really enjoyed our stay. We may have required more toilet paper than was provided (you get a refill with room service that occurs every 4 days and we only stayed for 4 days 😔 so we didn't get a refill).

- Rachel (9/5): - Lovely staff at reception, very friendly and efficient. The apartment was very clean and in fact the building is clean, and had everything we needed for the few days we were there. Plenty of space, good facilities and clear instructions on expectations of us as residents. Decent size balcony to sit on during the evening. We had a beach day at surfers paradise but was nice to be able to use the loungers and pool at the Colonnades to relax at too. The pool and surrounding area is very clean indeed and in excellent condition.
Less than 10 mins walk to the beach, really happy with the location. When we stayed it was quite humid across a couple of days; so the ceiling fans didn’t provide as much relief as perhaps air con units would but it didn’t spoil our stay, it’s just a personal observation.

- Paul (9/5): - Excellent location right next to the Northcliffe light rail and a short walk to the beach. The units are a good size for a family—a great option, and we will definitely stay there again. The resort amenities are in excellent condition; the layout is well-designed, providing both shaded and sunny aspects all day. The managers are very engaging and helpful—all my questions and requests were handled perfectly. There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about the property or the assistance I received during my stay.
