Guest Reviews
- Elena (4/5): Touristic trap - Terrace view is nice. I wish someone would clean up this terrace. I don’t recommend this stay, because rooms don’t match the photos. We booked two rooms with balconies, but balcony was available only in one room. The room does not have a private bathroom in the traditional meaning, instead, the bathroom is located at the end of the corridor and a key is provided for it. Breakfast is low quality and and not very diverse, no vegetables and protein, only products that can be stored without refrigeration. Beds are not comfortable and it’s too noisy outside.

- Dmitrii (9/5): - The view from the room and roof terrace is really fascinating. The administator is very helpful and always in touch. The rooms are spacious. There is a shop right in front of the hotel, also there are some cafes nearby including major international fastfood chains. The breakfst is pretty small, but tasty.
Generally, I do recommend staying in this hotel, if you are not afraid of living in Giza The condition of the bathroom is far from perfect. The street may be noisy because of the horses and the playground in front of the hotel. Since this is Giza, the whole area is very shabby
- FRANK (10/5): Hotel right opposite pyramids - The owner and staff were quite helpful in booking tours and making us feel welcome. The restaurant on the top floor is also a great feature as it has a fantastic view of the pyramids and sphinx as well as good food and drinks. We were on a little bit of a budget but were able to still have a very nice time staying at this hotel and we were able to do some great tours right from the hotel.
- Karmel (10/5): - Widok Brak nocnej lampki

- WEI (10/5): great! - The view exceeded my expectations! And the owner was really nice and incredibly patient! nothing
- Dapeng (10/5): - Best view point on rooftop. owner very nice.
- Khatab (8/5): - الاطلاله رائعه مباشره علي الاهرامات
- Sh (10/5): - The breakfast was good, I got a good room with pyramid view, I highly recommend this hotel to my family and
friends because I really enjoyed alot
- Khattab (10/5): I highly recommend this hotel - Our stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a great view from our room and even better from the rooftop. None
- Tony (5/5): Passable -
- Csilla (7/5): Good -
- Giancarlo (7/5): Good -
- Deanna (7/5): Good - It was an amazing location for the pyramids, you can see them from the room and they were within walking distance.
There isn't many decent places to eat around the area and it was SO noisy up until about midnight every night, and then starts again early.
The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was okay. The noise!!
- Salim (10/5): Happy Family Home - The location is the best giving you full time Panoramic view of Pyramids from the roof top and balcony.
We stayed for 2 days with family and manager was very caring and supportive. The hotel location is also very good from local food and market. Plenty of options and taxi available easily with parking space
- Sh (10/5): The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - Over all 5 star experience. They helped plan each day for us. Took a lot of stress off by booking things for us. 10/10 service. The room was amazing. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. They helped book drivers for us. 5 minute drive from the pyramids. They made it an amazing experience for us.
- Sh (10/5): Highly recommend this place 5 stars all around. - We were treated like family during our stay The best thing about this property is the level of service. Staff is extremely helpful and available 24/7. The rooms are spacious and clean / tidy. Beds are comfortable. The roof top dinning with great views of Pyramids is amazing. Also it has a view of New Pyramid Museum. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again. Nothing
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Very nice view from the rooftop at the pyramids.
- Singh (9/5): It was an amazing stay, the owner is really helpful and always at your service. Spacious room, big clean bathroom , a co - Easy access, easy to locate on map and best the pyramid view from my balcony n terrace
- Magda (9/5): Very good stay, helpful host - Amazing view from the balcony and even better from the rooftop.
Spacy living room and 2 bathrooms.
In comparison with the neighbourhood, it was surprisingly well kept.
Very helpful host, always available on the phone.
Local shop oposite front door open untill 3 AM.
Good, simple breakfast.
Just small things could be improved for comfort.
Could be cleaned better before and during our stay - especially the fridge and rugs.
The apartment is a bit worn out - e.x. shower not holding to the wall, window in the bathroom had broken lock, missing door handle, etc.
In general nice stay :) Nothing to do with the apartament:
Very poor neighbourhood - ruined houses, trash on the street.
Many stray dogs howling at night - better to come with earplugs.
- Gina.78 (9/5): Superb - large clean rooms with a view of the pyramids, the entrance to Giza is 10 minutes away
Mister Hany very friendly and helpful. highly recommended!!
- Gabriël (6/5): Wonderful landlord - Cheops Pyramids View Inn is actually a private one-floor flat in a four storey building. Despite language barriers, the owner was extremely helpful. A small market/cafe opposite the premises provided soft drinks and bottled water at local prices. The breakfast that was delivered to our door every morning, was ample and consisted of mainly bread products, which is typical Egypt, but not truly western. The ample fruit in the pictures was not presented with our stay. I believe the sanitation of the unit is still in progress, as the bathtub was unusable due to many cracks, and the showers impossible to use as it was not confined to cubicles. Our unit didn't have a outside patio to enjoy breakfast.
- Resiejansen (10/5): Exceptional - Wow loved the balcony with pyramid view. So cool! -
- Maeve (5/5): Pyramid views and close to Giza Plateau - these are the good points - The good points were the view of the pyramids from our room and rooftop and the fact that it was less than a 10 minute walk to the Giza Plateau ticket gate. There is a little shop across the street to buy water and snacks. We had some bizarre interactions with the owner in person and by Whatsapp and were given some wrong information about opening times for the pyramids for no apparent reason (we checked ourselves for the right ones). We were also asked to leave early on the day of check out to accomodate other people checking in. Our bathroom was private but down the hallway and the bedroom door would not stay closed while the other person took the keys to use the bathroom. The hotel is not correctly marked on Google Maps so is a bit hard to find, you have to request a link from the owner. Verrrrry loud street during the day and at night.
- Tomas (9/5): Superb -
- Catepanda (10/5): SUPER TOP! - everything was perfect! super location in front of the pyramids! the owner was fantastic and let us stay in the room till 6pm because we have a late flight. We had the pyramids and some factory (papirus, carpets and parfumes) tour. AMAZING❤️
- Fergal (10/5): Exceptional - The owner and his family were lovely. The view of the pyramids is amazing. It's a little hard to find. If you follow maps it will bring you to a different Cheops. The owner will send you a link for the maps which will bring you direct to the apartment. Once you have that it's easy to find. Bring ear plugs as the street is noisy. All in this was a fantastic place to stay 11/10. Thanks so much for making our pyramids experience amazing. everything was great.
- Paul (10/5): Incredible value for money, amazing view of the pyramids from the balcony and terrace. There is a small convenience stor - The location is amazing, the view spectacular, it’s very spacious for a family of 4 and the breakfast was simple but delicious. Nothing. We loved the place and our host was very welcoming, helpful, answered questions very quickly and was top notch.
- Julie (7/5): Apartment masquerading as hotel; great view, nice landlord and price but some major drawbacks - We loved the Giza pyramid views from one of the two bedrooms (we were in the "family suite"). What a spectacular thing to see each morning as we opened our window. We also appreciated the very kind landlord who provided us with a traditional Egyptian breakfast each morning and opened our front door each time we returned from an activity, as the lock/key did not work very well, if at all. The water in the apartment kept "turning off," especially when we tried to take a shower. The front door to our apartment did not lock or open properly, so we had to contact the owner (who was in the apartment right next to our place.) Also, this apartment is VERY HARD to find (Cairo/Giza has no street signs and we were at the end of an obscure dirt road. Further, the name of the apartment is the same as several other "hotels" in the area so our tour guides had a terrible time trying to locate us to take us on our excursions. Finally, there was/is a "futbol/soccer" field right outside our bedroom windows and the myriad of young adult males playing late into the night (until 2- 3 am) were very loud and made it impossible to get a good nights' sleep. To be fair, it was during Ramadan (March 2024), so that may be why it was so loud so late at night. Overall, a good value but you have to be mindful of the drawbacks. I would recommend this apartment for it's great view, personal attention by the owner and low price, but caveat emptor!
- Krisztina (10/5): Exceptional - Hani is a wonderful host. Helpful, polite, kind. He arranged us private tours to the pyramids, and to Egyptian Museum. He stayed up every day until we get back to the hotel, waiting for us. He gave us advice about the real prices. He can even change you money if needed. Room was clean and neat. There is a big hallway also. We had a shared bathroom, but at the time there were no other guests, so it was okay. There is a rooftop with wonderful view to the Pyramids of Giza.
Definitely recommend. Please keep in mind, this is a local area, with many children playing outside, there is a neaby mosk, many stray dogs on the streets. So sometimes it can be a little bit noisy. But if you are ok with that (as I am), I'm sure you will have a wonderful authentic experience here.
- Peter (9/5): Superb - the hotel is located near the entrance to the pyramids (about 500 meters). The owner was very friendly, he helped us with everything, he also offered us a guide to the pyramids or a tour of other historical places. He will change your money, order a taxi, he helped us a lot with luggage storage. Spacious, clean rooms, large bathroom, hallway. The view of the pyramids from the room was more beautiful from the roof. Maybe a little noisier around the hotel, but we met a lot of friendly people there. Breakfast simple but tasty.
- Jacques (8/5): Very good - Great view on the pyramids. Didn’t feel touristy. Barking dogs at night
- Feng (7/5): Good - Location is fine. Owner answers messages very quickly. The neighborhood is more than noisy. Kids roar and dog bark and young men scream when playing ball or whatever. All the way to late night and to the morning.
- Dóra (9/5): I would stay here again. - Very nice view to the pyramids, clean and well furnished. Staff was very nice. Wifi is strong. Breakfast could have been more.
- Leisa (8/5): Incredible location and lovely staff - Beautiful helpful staff, incredible view, incredible rooftop, lovely peaceful part of Giza.
- Irjumin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chinmayi (9/5): Helpful staff, nice view and serenity but once interrupted by loud noise. - 1. The view from the room balcony is nice. There is also an amazing view on the rooftop to see all three pyramids. The location of this premise is not on the main roads so it is usually quiet and relaxing.
2. The property manager Hani is very kind, resourceful, quickly responding, and helpful. He helped us find a local car and a driver with reasonable price to show us around the pyramids and other scenarios. He helped us find good money exchange. He introduces us nice local restaurants and other amenities. The WhatsApp requests usually replied in half an hour or even instantly.
3. The rooms are very clean and tidy.
4. Last but not least, the freshly made oriental breakfasts are amazingly delicious and colorful! 1. No lift/elevator to the 3rd floor room, may be difficult if with accessibility need.
2. Hani’s English ability could improve, sometimes it feels like a abrupt sale push than introducing the culture or solve our need, even though he may not really mean to forcefully sale anything.
3. Noise from neighborhood. One night the neighborhood was having a birthday party and the stereo was booming in the middle of the night. The other night was fine.
4. Old locks on the room doors sometimes are difficult to open or to lock.
- Daniela (8/5): Very good - Walking distance to the Pyramids and main restaurants. The Room has a spacious terrace with amazing view of the Pyramids. The suite was clean and the breakfast in the morning was simple but nice and filling. The host was also Very helpful and constantly trying to help and to make our stay as good as possible. The area around the Pyramids is more chaotic and noisy than I had thought.
- Anonymous (10/5): excellent stay - A very welcoming host- always available to help and assist. Very comfortable and we were all looked after (it felt like home) the suite was also very clean and spacious. nothing it was all great.
- Teodosio (7/5): It was decent enough highlight is the view of the pyramids - Breakfast was not what was on the picture. Was ok
- Isabelle (8/5): Very good -
- Nina (6/5): was good for the price - clean and friendly owner bathroom outside the room and noisy streets
- Antar (6/5): Pleasant - close to pryamid no private bathroom
- Asadur (9/5): Superb -
- Jamilya (10/5): Exceptional - Location is perfect, pyramids view. Owner is friendly. I guess owner was so friendly, that when I met my friend outside, he watched from balcony and texted me: who is this? which I think not professional. it’s a bit scared me. anyway stay was smooth
- Peng (9/5): good location with balcony pyramids views - landmarks views with private bathroom. I am enjoy it. the bathroom not inside the room, it is private bathroom only for you, but need pass thru living room. It’s acceptable.
- Miguel (8/5): Excellent location and very clean - The location is very interesting, in a neighbourhood where you can have a real feeling of the way of living the locals. Is very close to the entrance of the Pyramids compound and the view to the pyramids is quite nice! The communication with the host was not perfect and didn't present himself that flexible to leave our luggage on the last day for a couple of hours and we were charged for half day of a room. Another aspect is that the bathroom is outside of the room, although is private for that specific room where we stayed. But overall, was all great!
- Jane (7/5): Good - good price They gave us a different room with no terrace and no bathroom inside the room as was shown before on the pictures and not with the same view
- Stefan (10/5): perfect stay - In one word: wauw! perfect location with view of The piramids, very beautifull room and a realy Nice bathroom. The breakfast is very tastefull and The host is realy nice and helpfull.
- Selvin (10/5): Exceptional - The view it's breathtaking,the host very helpful
- Matthew (8/5): Very good - Large spacious rooms and a close walk to Giza.
Staff were friendly.
We were able to get 5 beds and several rooms at a very good price. There is a nearby mosque, and it is incredibly loud well before the sun rises.
On the weekend, I believe it was earlier but uncertain what time. It runs quite long.
In general it is a seemingly small and quiet sleep but noise carries and it all the action on the streets is quite loud.
.
One night the locals and mosque made most the noise, another night was dogs and trucks, and one night was mostly peaceful.
Cairo and Giza themselves are very loud places, so consider earplugs
- Emir (10/5): Exceptional - He is so kind and so helpful. He give use to free drink and good breakfast. He help for time for breakfast and other things. When u need sth owner is ready to help. Its like second home and little slient area but little :) Just bathroom door ia difficult to open sometimes but its okey.
- Anonymous (10/5): clean great location nice breakfast - location was great, staff were very nice, I was asked what time I wanted breakfast and it was brought to my room every morning 🫶 it was very noise in the evening but this is too be expected in most places in Giza after all it is the city that doesn’t sleep.
- Jørvart (8/5): Very good -
- Yibei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Didier (10/5): 2 time in Gyza so not doing the tourist sites gear to relax before continuing on - brand new very very clean, great balcony with great view on pyramid not the touristic area so you see the behind the scene of the pyramid attraction. mostly camel and horse traffic almost no cars. everything within walking distance friendly neighborhood very good service from the staff. great value for money felt very safe all was good but be aware that there is a lot of barking dogs at night
