- David (5/5): This hotel was OK for one night. - The room was very clean. Also, the hotel is in a good location in Buga. The room and bathroom could have been larger. The cathedral’s clock bells woke me up many times during the night.

The room was well finished and everything worked that was meant to. The mini-bar was fine. The breakfast was good, classic Colombian fare. It was quiet at night so we could actually sleep. The shower door in room 203 was so tightly fitted at the bottom edge that it was difficult to open once again after it was closed and the shower used. Even this tight-fitting door didn’t keep the shower water in the cubicle well: you really need watertight, silicon door edging strips to do the job properly even though they will wear out that bottom edge.

- ivan (8/5): - La experiencia en el hotel fue excelente las habitaciones muy buenas y limpias y la atención muy buena también el único inconveniente fue el precio que en la aplicación aparece un precio con iva y todo incluido y en el hotel te cobran unos dichos seguros y cosas que al final salen por el mismo precio que si uno hiciera la reserva directamente no hay ningún descuento de la aplicación

- Selwyn (8/5): - This is not a five star hotel by any means but it was clean relatively quiet very helpful staff , the breakfast was good , the rooms were nice and cozy but make sure the air-conditioning works , my first room was a bit noisy so i changed rooms and got one that was nice and quiet, it is walking distance to just about everything , the security was also good i always felt safe during my stay, for the price as a foreigner it was awesome.

- kathys835 (8/5): Nice hotel - Very clean and staff is friendly. For once, a hotel room with light you can see by instead of the 15 watt bulbs in most places. I also liked that the light switch was by the bed. Good breakfast. Well located with Basilica just around the corner. Our room had a table, but no room for a chair. The closet was adequate, however. Good quality sheets and towels.
- hbo17 (2/5): The worst experience from a Hotel! - I have never had to write a review for a Hotel before, however this hotel was so BAD that I would not EVER want anyone to go through what they made me go through. I made the reservation about a month prior to my arrival with my wife's family. to begin they called me a week in advanced and asked me to put in a deposit, however I told them I had booked with booking.com that granted me the option to pay when I arrived at the property. when I arrived at the property from a long trip from Canada they informed me that the two rooms for my family I had booked were "broken" and that they could not allocate us in the two private rooms we had booked. the truth was that the rooms were not broken but they just gave the rooms to other guests that arrived before us. they came back and offered us ONE SINGLE room from my whole family or we could go somewhere else to look for a hotel at night. I could not believe what I was hearing. the receptionist was so unprofessional that could not even put me through the manager while they were talking on the phone with each other and the manager did not want to speak or did not even give us an apology. they called another hotel for us further away and we left. when we arrived at the other hotel the prices were not the same and were so much higher than what Hotel San Julian promised us. so there we where, my family was tired, exhausted, upset and feeling stranded in a town that they did not know and the Hotel San Julian just wanting to get rid of us and their problem due their unprofessional ways of doing business and not keeping the reservation I had made. they even had the audacity to tell the booking.com that we did not show up so that they get reimbursed of the night they had not given us the reservation we made, so that I would get charged for the night. dishonest manager and unprofessional staff. Save your troubles and headaches and book somewhere else.
- Heidi758 (4/5): Way too Noisy!!! - I went Malta for my winter vacations. There were not so many people, staying in this hotel by the time. However, the room offered to me was so lousy. Since the room faced a back alley, I could hear loud noise of the garbage trucks or some commercial vehicles every early morning. Service was just OK but nothing striking like others rated. Only advantage this hotel has was its location.
