We enjoyed a drink in the cosy sitting area in front of the gas fire. Our food was very good. A little disappointed that there was not a smart TV. Could only watch local channels.

- Leanne (10/5): Exceptionally clean , a credit to the cleaners and was so convenient to eat dinner at the pub and then coffee and breakf - As soon as you open the entry door the place smells fresh and clean . The flip out sofa mattress needs to be replaced it was very thin to sleep on .

You need a credit card sized card to turn on the electricity but are only supplied one card when checking in. You also need a card to access the building (Astor Suites) so can't leave the card in the room with your partner.

No sink for dishes, could do with a couple more hangers in the wardrobe.
- SIMON (8/5): Very modern, spacious and clean. - The Executive Suite was very large and spacious. The check in staff were very pleasant and helpful. The facilities are modern and the lift to our floor was terrific. Small issue, but there is no phone to contact reception. We had a little hiccup with the TV channels, fixed of course but one has to go downstairs to seek assistance. Then the time for helping was a little under 2 hours to resolve. Still all fixed but a little annoying you have to walk outside the suites to gain access to reception which is in the main hotel area.

The Astor hotel next door had great meals - very convenient. Supermarket around the corner. You could easily stay here a few days. It was perfect for our overnight stay and great value. A minor issue but when sitting up in bed, the ensemble rolled away from the wall. Locking castor wheels would resolve that. Very comfy bed though.
