• Morgane (10/5): - Emplacement au calme mais proche de la grande gare de ueno très pratique! Chambres de taille correcte. Douche fonctionnelle très bien Équipement de cuisine et climatisation très bien. Il faut savoir que la maison est sur 3 niveaux, WC rt sdb au rdc et chambre au 2ème, il faut être en bonne forme physique.

• Hodson (9/5): Great house & location - The property is conveniently located near Ueno Station for connections all around Tokyo, and it is easy to reach the Asakusa and Skytree areas via foot or train. The rooms were clean and the house is spacious compared to other accommodation within Japan. Towels and toiletries were provided. We had a great stay. The toilet is on the ground floor which is a little inconvenient for those sleeping on the third floor. But you can choose to sleep on the sofa bed if its too inconvenient for elderly etc.

• Panuphan (8/5): Overall, the stay was pleasant thanks to the cleanliness and location. - The location was good—although a bit far from Ueno station, it was closer to Shin-Okachimachi station, which made getting around easier. The house itself was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with all the essentials such as amenities and kitchen utensils. One drawback was that the bathroom and toilet are located on the first floor, and there’s no heater on that level. During my stay, the weather was quite cold, so going downstairs at night was uncomfortable. Since there is only one toilet in the house, this setup can be inconvenient, especially for nighttime use. Additionally, the staircase was very narrow, which made it difficult to carry large luggage up and down. This could be challenging for guests with heavy bags.

The area is very quiet and yet it is close to several public transport options. The facilities are ideal for families or small groups. Two double beds and a single fold out bed. I would stay here again. Stairs are narrow and steep. Have to be careful with luggage. Would not suit someone with knee problems. It helped my fitness though!

• Max (9/5): Great location, clean, comfortable. Loved it - We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. The house is a short walk to Ueno station and restaurants, Ginza line for Asakusa and Ginza, Oedo line for Shinjuku. It is a quiet street. The house is very clean and beds were comfortable. I recommend for a family or 2 couples. As others have said, the staircase probably isn’t great for people with mobility issues or maybe toddlers. No other complaints.

• Norlizawati Juahil (8/5): 6 pax in Ueno for 1 week - We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation in Japan. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was cozy and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is excellent—very accessible to Ueno Train Station, with both 7-Eleven and FamilyMart just a short walk away, which was incredibly convenient. The service was outstanding. The host was helpful, responsive, and quick to reply to any queries. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the entire stay smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended! 3 floors, climbing stairs was not easy with my injured leg. There is only one toilet so its a hassle to go toilet from level 3 to level 1.

• Yeung (5/5): - The house is new. Several convenience stores are nearby the house. No rubbish bin in living room and bedrooms, even in toilet. Messy and dirty quilts, pillows and bedsheet just put on top of staircase and block the access to rooftop. It is quite disgusting and have hygiene problem. No drying function in washing machine but not enough hanger to provide.

• Daniel (10/5): Petite maison trés pratique au coeur de Tokyo - Petite maison très calme et confortable non loin du quartier très animé de la gare de Ueno. Tous les principaux sites sont à 20/30 mn de métro. Ne pas manquer le paec de Ueno, le musée national du Japon et les temples magnifiques encore un peu délaissés par les touristes voyant le monde à travers Instagram. L'escalier pourrait donner du fil à retordre à des personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité.

• Rhyan (10/5): Great value, small and compact. - Kenki Ueno House is well-situated in the Ueno District which has a great park and a range of museums close by. The unit is compact (as many Tokyo units are). So you enter on the ground floor, take off your shoes and put on slippers. The toilet, laundry bathroom are on that level. Upstairs is the lounge and kitchen with a small balcony. On the top level are the two bedrooms. So you get very organised about what needs to go up and down the stairs. So enjoy, Tokyo is an amazing city to visit. My only suggestions would be a bit more information about the hot water system (which you need to press the on button on the box on the wall). The kitchen is basic but most travellers would be eating out or getting takeaways.

• Haberlin (9/5): Superb - The house was clean, in a good location near 2 different subway stops, and a nice walk to Ueno Park. The shower and tub were very nice. The beds, pillows, and comforters were all comfortable, and the bed fit 2 adults. It was nice to have air conditioning. The TV was not connected, and we were unable to set it up since the instructions were in Japanese. The wifi router was not plugged in, but we were able to plug it in and get in started. One of the three chairs in the kitchen was broken

• Nicola (9/5): A fantastic house to explore Tokyo from - Great location. 3 Stations within walking distance. Lots of small restaurants and bars nearby. Very comfortable and clean, quiet neighbourhood. Elderly or people with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs (Bedrooms on the 3rd floor with the toilet on the ground floor) This was not a problem for us.
• Hm (9/5): We enjoy this clean house and its fully equipped household appliances. - It is a clean 3-floor house equipped with all kinds of household appliances and even plates and chopsticks. You could cook in the house if you like. The location is good.It takes about 7 minutes walk to the train station. Since it is a 3-floor house, you need to use the stairs to go to washroom. It may not be convenient for the senior citizens to live in.
