Guest Reviews
- Traviss (8/5): Clean and home was in a beautiful location! - The owner was very accomodating and friendly The bed was not the most comfortable
- Spidle (10/5): - Convenient being downtown.

- Abraham Machar (10/5): Super clean property with a polite and responsive host - The host was so amazing! Very polite and responsive. I booked, called her lat and was quick to respond to my call. She made sure I got the check in instructions, which were simple to follow. The property was super clean and quiet. I enjoyed my stay there.
- Sungeun (9/5): She tries to communicate with guests, which I really liked ! - The owner's quick response to my inquiries. Room Y is a little bit cold, and she didn't seem to understand it at first.
But thankfully, she increased the temperature.
But I would like to inform her that the washroom and the corridor were indeed really warm, but it was just room Y that was still cold.
Staying one night in room Y with the heater on should be experimented by the owner herself :)
But I still enjoyed staying in overall.
- Samantha (10/5): Great property to stay at in Waterloo! - Beautiful room and ensuite bathroom! The host is extremely welcoming and helpful

- Anni (9/5): - The room, bathroom and common area were very cozy and clean, clear instructions before arriving how to check in and settle down. My room was super cold and there was no thermostat to change that, but bathroom was super warm, so probably just my room had issues with heating.
- Rosalind Crocker (6/5): If you’re looking for very basic accommodation with no extras this is the place for you - Very basic accommodation. Shared washroom, no extra blanket. Room very clean. No extra blanket. Parking spot R296 not plowed. Was concerned about getting stuck.

- David (8/5): Overall very good :) - Very clean and tidy, good location; very organized door access and locking.
Titi the manager is really excellent, helpful and pleasant. Too bright in the main area with the lights on but too dark with them off;
Quite short on plates, bowls, cups and mugs in the kitchen;
Someone’s phone alarm from another room woke me up at 5:30, then again at 6:30:(
- Marina (8/5): - Titi the manager was exceptionally helpful in accomodating my request for booking the same room again. They also replied to my many emails very promptly helpfully. Everything was clean and worked as described.

Would come again
- Castanheira (8/5): -
- Javiera (8/5): Good - Everything is as announced, Titi was very nice to us, and even gave us some recommendations around Waterloo :) she was specially kind because we booked last minute, which was no problem to her I wished the towels were changed regularly, because it was very humid and in the small closed room they would not properly dry.
Also beware that the place is a bit far from uptown and public transport is not good, so account for long walks.
- Samantha (10/5): I had a great stay, and I highly recommend this property! - The property was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The host was welcoming, helpful, and responsive.
- HAO (10/5): -
- Carrie (4/5): If you need a no-nonsence place to sleep for the night, this will suffice. - The location was convenient. The parking directions were unclear (which specific spot within the complex was not identifiable. We parked and “hoped for the best”).
The home seemed run down (marks on the floors and walls), little in the way of “hospitality conveniences” (soap, shampoo, towels, face clothes, etc).
- Sunday Adoyi (3/5): Not great - Location Bed is wobbly, mattress is worn out with a depression in the middle.
No A/c in the room, just a fan
- Zhiyuan (9/5): - no air conditioner. Hot sometimes.
- Tameru (10/5): -
- Haydon (10/5): -
- Gambetta (10/5): -
- Valwry (8/5): Very good -
- Linqing (8/5): Very good - You will share the house with one or two house mate, the sound isolation is not very good.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yetunde (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (7/5): Comfortable and great location for the university’s. - It was very clean and great location for why I was visiting Waterloo.
The host was very helpful with answering questions before I arrived. People in upstairs room were noisy , sounded like shifting furniture around late at night .
Shower was a bit cold but maybe that was me not understanding how to work it
- Weiqin (2/5): The Worst accommdation booking in our 4 weeks trip - location is pretty good and close to shops. Checkin is smooth and contactless with a diginal lock. Facilities! luckily we just stop over for one night. Uni dorm even will be much better than this one.The faciltilties are really old and basic, bed almost falls apart, bed mattress almost touches the ground when sit on it. The photos are different from the actual room and facility. Totally not worth of value.
- Jun (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): to find a apt -
- Alyssa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (1/5): I didn't stay also I was looking for hotel room not someone's what's up with that - I didn't stay taking half my money it's all bullshit never again dealing with this again I went up to door I heard music ringed the door bell no one came went back to car text them waited then text to cancel when I was driving they call but can talk on phone and drive so it was waste money time
- Hetal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hetal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mart (10/5): All is well - Clean, comfortable, warm, great place in the city, Titi is also a great person and very helpful. Sound isolation of house is not good. Probably because the house is wooden.
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Hetal (9/5): Superb -
- Hetal (9/5): Superb -
- Audey (8/5): Very good -
- Jflandry (7/5): Good - Proximity with Waterloo University. Netflix. Washroom in room. Parking not snow showeled. Fridge in room not functional, smelly. Too expensive for what it is. A hotel would have been better.
- Penelope (9/5): Excellent host, good value for the money. Close to public transport. I didn't drive in. - The landlord was wonderful, very kind. All areas were fastidiously clean and well-kept. Not much to say - the rate was very good (like a high-end hostel)
- Lixin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Walter (3/5): Not sure that we would return. - The location was good. Close to main roads. We did not realize that we had to share a bathroom and that our room was on the second floor up some very steep stairs. The place was clean and relatively quiet. Parking was close but there was no regular TV channels available, only streaming services.
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (6/5): Pleasant - steep stairs to climb to get to your room the bed was also low on the ground and only 2 pillows were supplied for a queen bed, no extra bedding and no way of adjusting the room temp
- Lixin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hetal (8/5): Overall satisfactory - Clean and quite
- Francesca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (6/5): Nice and clean but better value elsewhere? - Location for us was very convenient since we wanted to be close to Luther Aged Care Village. Access to the property was easy with very clear instructions. The property was in general, very clean and tidy. Also, pretty well equiped. The superior bedroom with ensuite was very small for the expensive price we paid for it. It was located on the ground floor and it was quite noisy (footsteps and voices) when there were people upstairs in their own bedrooms or when someone was cleaning the place. The quilt cover and pillow covers were a bit strange - textured and tufted on one side which doesn't give us the feeling of cleanliness.
- Marianna (7/5): Good -
- Lixin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lixin (10/5): perfect - I am very satisfied for this hotel room and service. the room clean and quiet. and service from Titi very nice and warm. I am pleased to take new chance for staying here again! NA
- Tom (10/5): Perfect location for Laurier University - This property is the perfect location for Laurier University... just a few minutes away. Very clear instructions provided for accessing the property.
- Benoit (9/5): nice old townhouse close to campus - great spot. close to campus old house, floors a bit squeaky.
- Brandon (10/5): Worth it - Super clean got cleaned everyday, with amazing privacy Floors creaking
- John (1/5): Bad -
- Hiba (7/5): Good -
- Josef (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mye (9/5): Nice place; nice host; close to University of Waterloo; will come back again. - We had kitchen. The shower in the room T was very nice. I missed the host's message to confirm about the need for the parking; after I checked-in, I realized I needed to confirm the parking needs; I texted late into Friday night but the host was very quick to response and accommodate us parking spot. Thank you Titi! The room T had its' private shower and the second room Z had the shared shower room with another room. We were not aware of which room has what facility so it confused me a bit about planning, but since were a family, everybody showered in the room T and all was good.
- Stan (9/5): The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the room was a good size, clean and bed was comfortable -
- Sergey (7/5): Good -
- Gregory (8/5): Everything was exactly as advertised. Hosts were very communicative. Easy process. -
- Wesley (4/5): Disappointing - Hard to find parking, no a/c
- Zijian (9/5): Week stay for business travel - Quiet, sufficient amenities (towels, soap, wifi), large room with ample space. Very nice and welcoming host! Bed blanket was thin and mattress was harder than expected.
- Paula (10/5): Great place to stay if you visit U. Waterloo. - The place is perfect if you want to visit the University of Waterloo. It's located in a nice, quiet area, 5 minutes away from the university on foot. Nearby, there are places for breakfast, lunch, dinner and grocery shopping. Public transportation is also around the corner. Titi, the owner, is very helpful, always on touch to make sure everything is alright. She always responds promptly.
- Ziyue (9/5): Superb - The location is great, close to the Waterloo and TNT market. It is quiet place to stay. Room is a bit hot in summer, the AC did not work when I was there.
- David (1/5): I have severe medical issues and am in a wheelchair, had to leave and owner refused refund - Due to me having severe medical issues that cause me to be in a wheelchair, i am very sensitive to older buildings and air quality coming from it. To a regular person, their stay could have been fine but me, when I arrived I started having a severe reaction that caused me to have to leave the property immediately. I tried to contact booking.com for support and they had stated that the owner had kept my money and refused to give me a refund. Even though I had to leave immediately and never stayed at the property. The owners lack of care and reasonability to someone in my situation who couldn't stay at the property and to not give any money back is just extremely disappointing and because of this I wouldn't recommend staying here.
- Pierros (9/5): it was awesome! -
- Nguyen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose (9/5): Superb - Meets all what I needed in a stay, the bedroom was clean, showers also very well kept. It was near lots of good places and so close to transit (many transit routes). Would have been nice to have a list of near by restaurants, and places to eat and shop. When from out of town, it can be overwhelming to find good places, but like I said, lots of places around.
- Carrie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Miguel (8/5): Fine - Nice house, and excellent room
- Carrie (10/5): Home vibes - Everything that’s why I returned for another night or two. Not a thing.
- Carrie (10/5): The host went above and beyond for me, she is a very sweet kind women. I was homeless at the time and she helped me out - The host 👏🏼 I loved that I had a walk out bedroom to the back yard. That I had to leave it in the end haha
