Guest Reviews
- Jane (8/5): Wonderful stay. Would recommend. - Location was excellent. Back yard fire pit fabulous for sunrise/sunset
- David (9/5): - Quiet
- Pegah (6/5): It was a nice stay in general. Backyard was very lovely. - The location was amazing. Fireplace was lovely. Kitchen and bathrooms were quite clean. Beds very uncomfortable. Random cheap pillows. The couch and cushions were not that clean. For a property within that price range, you would expect better and cleaner furniture.
- Gareth (10/5): -
- Jongenelis (9/5): All in all a great experience for us as well as our family visiting from Germany - The location is excellent. Local hotels and eateries close by. Speaking purely as an ex builder and bathroom designer the available space could have allowed for a larger shower.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Danielle (10/5): Gorgeous location for a lovely girl’s weekend away - Beautiful decor.
Very relaxing.
Fireplace was amazing. Nothing.
- Michael (10/5): Idyllic relaxation amongst the wagtails in the garden under the shade of the trees 🥰 - The garden is beautiful and both the baths

- Daniel (10/5): - Jasmine’s Cottage is in a great location if you’re wanting to explore the Barossa. It’s very easy to get around from there.
The cottage itself is a gem. From all the nice touches with the furniture and accessories, to the huge indoor spa and heated tile floor, to the large backyard with another outdoor bath, bbq and fire pit.
I would highly recommend Jasmine’s cottage and we will definitely be looking to return.

- Tracey (10/5): Cottage by the vines in Lyndoch - The location was superb, walking distance to town, accessible to lots of great vineyards.
The cottage was so clean, quirky + pink, love the backyard leading to the vineyards with firepit, magical sunrises. Lots of little touches, highly recommend this gorgeous cottage. We should have stayed 3 nights instead of 2.
- Phaedra (8/5): - Lovely fire and the spa and outdoor bath are lovely
- Jasmin (10/5): Perfect communication from start to finish, an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back. - The cottage was just superb, clean, warm and exactly what was stated. The beds were sooo comfy and the spa OMG divine! Everything was amazing

- Noel (10/5): Barossa escape - We stayed at Jasmine’s Cottage for two nights. Lyndoch is a great location from which to explore the Barossa district and the cottage is only a walk from the local restaurants The cottage has a lot of charm and is well equipped for a short stay. We particularly appreciated the fireplace and the AC heating as it was quite cold outside during our stay
- Stephanie (9/5): Beautiful little cottage - Thought of everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. Great cute place and lovely gardens Nothing
- Roger (10/5): Exceptional - Oozing with shabby chic charm and wine country vibes out back.
- Regina (9/5): Superb - The garden was very restful with lots of birds
- Timothy (9/5): Superb - A very nice quiet little cottage.
Has everything you want for a quiet vacation from the city. Plus the little features that are above and beyond. The beds could have been a little softer.

A cottage full of character beautifully and thoughtfully preserved by Suzie and Steve. Our highlight was every night family bonfires beside the vineyard. We had a fantastic time Nothing at all. Perfect to T

It is a beautiful place to stay we had a wonderful time

Just so fabulous, so inviting, so clean and truly lovely.. From when I first walked into the cottage I knew I was going to have a wonderful break away!!..

- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Jasmine's cottage exceeded all my expectations. The hosts have clearly thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The garden was peaceful with a beautiful view, and lovely blue wrens visiting whilst you enjoy a cup of tea. The cottage was charming and really relaxing. I'll definitely come back for another stay! Nothing to dislike, Jasmine's cottage is pretty much perfect :)
- Heidi (9/5): Superb - The cottage is very quirky and lovely, the beds are very comfortable and it is in a great location from which to explore the barossa valley. We had a bit of an ant invasion but were able to keep it under control.
- Kerryn (10/5): - Great to relax, all the things provided to chill and enjoy the scenery, thank you for a lovely experience.
- Jean-louis (9/5): met all and above expectations - All. the items provided for the breakfast were of very good quality and quantity.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - I loved how it was decorated and how comfortable and cosy it was 💕 . I also loved how it's so close and central to everything, shops , service station, pubs etc . We didn't want to leave . We felt so at home there 😁💓 we loved the spa that was so relaxing 😌. There were only a few things we didn't like , the step to the kitchen should definitely have a yellow strip there , or a sign saying step . Because you don't always see it. And maybe just a mixer , so people can mix up a cake , pancakes etc . An electric one would be perfect ❤️. Apart from that everything was amazing 😍 and we will definitely be going back and telling friends and family how amazing it was 💕
- Max (10/5): - My wife adored the cottage . All fittings and decorations were in tune with the style.Large fridge was good for blokes too.
- Sarah (9/5): Perfect base for exploring the Barossa - Very cosy cottage and well equipped. Loved the large TV and netflix access too. Some traffic noise in bedrooms.
- Cathy (10/5): We loved it. Picture perfect 1880’s cottage. Beyond comfy. - It was relaxing, luxurious touches, had everything anyone could need. Just delightful
- Krista (9/5): A beautiful cottage with outstanding attention to detail throughout. - The cottage has been lovingly restored, decorated and turned into a beautiful, cosy retreat. The hosts attention to detail was exceptional and there were little delights and surprises to be found in every corner. An outdoor firepit, indoor fire, outdoor bath, indoor spa, heated bathroom floor, little chocolates, beautiful gardens and places to sit and enjoy. The only thing I didn't like was that we didn't have enough time to enjoy this beautiful cottage. We came to spend the weekend in the Barossa Valley, but I wish I had an entire weekend just to enjoy the cottage and gardens with a good book.
- Eldridge (8/5): Very good - Location good/comfortability/cosy
- Ruth (8/5): Good location Very comfortable could have a wardrobe or two - Not applicable No dryer. Stove could be upgraded. Door on open fire needs fixing. Shower too small. All easy fixes
- Jane (10/5): we would not hesitate to recommend Jasmines Barossa Valley Cottage. We loved it - We loved everything about this beautiful space. The open fire was amazing and the hosts have thought of everything. We loved our time at the property. Nothing at all
- Selena (10/5): AMAZING! Home away from home. - Where do I start!
Suzie is such a great communicator.
From the moment I secured the booking, during my stay to make sure everything was perfect and did I have everything I needed... up until days after checking out letting me know the changes they made after reviewing the "review form" - which was amazing! You are emailed a welcome book which is also in a folder in the accommodation. There is a folder full of appliance manuals as well in the kitchen drawer. Nearly everything is clearly labeled and this was so helpful.
It's so nice to see hosts actually using the review form and quickly addressing feedback. Suzie added in a few changes to the accommodation via my suggestions - a hook for the outdoor bath to hang towels/robes and a side table/stand for drinks etc when in the bath! I was amazed.
As for the house itself, Suzie made sure there was everything I needed and more for my stay. All the little things make the biggest difference! There were plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, plenty of fire wood and everything you need to start and maintain the fire, there was central heating in the bedrooms as well as electric blankets.
A washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, microwave, kettle, toaster, a nespresso coffee machine with a milk steamer wand... plenty of equipment for baking as well! A smart TV with netflix & youtube, there was a bluetooth speaker on the kitchen ledge as well.
A gorgeous big spa indoors AND outdoor bath to use - a small section of the bath had started peeling away but Suzie has addressed this already with a temporary solution! amazing. Outside probably could have done with a good sweep and cleaning, the deck & around the table/bbq area was dirty so I did drag dirt into the bath as I had to get in and out once but I overlooked this. I must note - ( this is not accommodation related but town related)
just pay attention to the time if you're needing groceries. Twice I had to drive 15 minutes to Gawler for Coles because I'd forgotten particular items. ( such as eggs, cheese..)
The local independent grocer had closed by 1pm on a sunday and were closed by 6pm week nights. so just plan accordingly! but that was my travel brain 😴🤭
- O'callaghan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (10/5): - The property was well presented and the overall feeling of the house was excellent. The detail of things to do in the area was excellent. We would definitely recommend the property.
- Becky (10/5): My sister and absolutely loved our stay, it had everything we needed and more. - Very easy, we were supplied with the code for the lock box
- Jasmin (10/5): amazing property, amazing host and amazing experience - wow what an amazing experience. Jasmines cottage was just brilliant. the cottage was immaculately clean, amazing amenities and Suzie had thought of everything from the condiments, chocolates, biscuits and port to our personal welcome on the fridge or the recommendations of local things to do. the beautiful shabby chic decorated cottage is just stunning. Suzies communication was fantastic and she was so warm and welcoming. we will definitely come back and be recommending to family and friends. nothing
- Williams (10/5): It was very relaxing spending time in such a carefully designed and decorated abode. -
- Paul (9/5): Great location for a base in the Barossa. - Very quaint and homely. Excellent value. Excellent location. Nil.
- Susan (9/5): Very pleasant place to stay. - The cottage is an easy walk into town...nice cafes. Added extras...milk in the fridge, chocolates ,port , breakfast cereal. Heating worked well. All good... no complaints.
- Jessica (8/5): Very good - Great lil cottage for a weekend away. Could have had a lil more firewood
- Samantha (10/5): Fantastic - The views from the outdoor bath
Views from spa
Fire place inside and out
Very homily feel to it
Great for a romantic getaway or even a girls weekend we'll definitely be back There wasn't anything not to like
- Edmund (6/5): Pleasant -
- Angelo (7/5): a good one - we were happy to see there was some breakfast left behind by previous people who stayed ...this was a happy and convenient bonus thanks for that to not throw away that as it still was in date ... a little more modern style
and a little more clean...as there were some cutlery not cleaned well and also insects on kitchen ledge and etc.
plus the outdoor bath was dirty...
- Dwight (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nanette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nga (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (9/5): The perfect place to rest after sampling some of the best wines in the world!! - Very charming and comfortable.
- Mark (9/5): SUPERB AND EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ON LINE - Location
Accomodation had all that we needed zero
- Samantha-jo (9/5): Superb -
- Lyn (10/5): - Fabulous cottage, “shabby chic” French vibe, everything you could need and more. Great central location in the Barossa. Beautiful backyard and views of the vineyards, outdoor bath!, lots of bird life in the trees. Easy access and parking. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cottage with character - Great stay which all started with good communication with the owners. Everything we needed to know was sent to us before hand and on the day we checked in.
The cottage was well set up with everything one needs for a getaway - kitchen had condiments and more, bathroom had awesome large spa complete with toiletries, lounge room had wood for the fire, dvd player, games and more, the bedrooms had electric blankets and heaters. There was nothing we were missing.
The outside area was lovely with different areas including view of the vineyards, fire pit, table and chairs and even a bath tub.
A painted door inside has pointers for what to do in the Barossa which is at your door step.
The only minor negatives in amongst loads of all the positives is the shower was rather small considering the large size of the bathroom and water pressure in shower low. I personally would also leave more practical space on the coffee table instead of cups etc. But such minor points did not detract from our stay.
5 out of 5 for our stay! Would certainly stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The key hide is awkard to view and manipulate
Every thing else was well presented
Enjoyed the stay and would seek this cottage
Next time in the Barossa. Peter.m

- Cath (10/5): - Grea little place. Very quirky with a dedicated pink style. Great base for exploring the Barossa. We particularly loved sitting in the garden looking out at the vines enjoying a local drop.
- Dona (10/5): Romantic Getaway - A quaint quiet cottage that was perfect for a couple, location was perfect to wineries, restaurants and historical sites.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful cottage in perfect location - A totally stress free experience in SA's premium wine region. The cottage was immaculate in every way, the local pub is a beauty and its less than an hour from Adelaide.Wish we could have stayed longer.
