• Charles (5/5): Ideal para visitar las pirámides, pero no para estar en el Cairo por varios dias - La ubicación es cerca a la pirámides y tiene una terraza con excelente vista a ellas. Las instalaciones a pesar de estar bien ubicadas esta en un callejón y como es costumbre en Egipto quieren venderte tour al precios elevados. Las cobijas eran viejas llenas de motas. Pero por el precio no puedes exigir tanto.

• Christian (1/5): Deceiving - Nothing specifically Terrible experience since our arrival: the receptionist tried to scam us. Even though the price booked on booking.com stated 32$, he added extra costs without even mentioning them. He wanted us to pay in EUR the final US dollars total amount, because according to him there was no difference between paying the same amount in EUR or in US dollars. He wanted us to tap our card on the pos without showing us the amount he wrote. But luckily, we checked it! First of all, he added 30$ for our transfer (airport-hotel) when the hotel wrote us few days earlier that it was included in the price (stated also on booking.com); moreover, he added 12$ for early check in (whenever I go to hotels and the room is already free, there’s no extra costs for entering the room earlier, just some common sense), and even, if that’s your policy, you state it CLEARLY before payment. And no, an EUR amount of money it’s definitely NOT the same in US dollars, and if you say so to your clients, you’re definitely in the process of scamming them. Once we explained all this to him, he even had the courage to call us “rude”. After this nightmare, the same receptionist told us that the hotel would have offered us a free midday welcoming city-tour. Once in the hall, he called us back saying that the tour was cancelled and the only other possibility was a 35€ experience in the evening. So unprofessional! Don’t trust him when he will tell you that Uber or Indrive don’t work because he probably wants to sell you only his scamming tours. Rooms need renovations and they’re definitely not clean: hairs from previous guests all around, dirty blankets, sink that you cannot open completely, bad smell, dirty pillowcases.. Basic breakfast included. Daily room cleaning service not included. Elevator not always working. Bad room sound isolation. Simply, don’t go!

• haleema (8/5): - The hotel had all the facilities, a good shower system. Hotel provided pick up( extra cost). Provided travel for four days with a private car and a driver( extra cost, might be expensive, but I would say worth it when you think about safety and privacy). As they also went extra mile to help me celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday on the roof top with balloons, music, candles, and cake ( I was happy for their support and arranging all this for us). Also, Ahmed from Hotel was with us for four days, which made us feel safe. He drove us everywhere, he is a very safe driver, kind, calm and helpful. I felt the same ( safe as a female) as I would feel in my home country when my brothers or our driver would take us out. Having children with us, I wanted them to have a good experience in a safe environment. When my son left his phone at the pyramids at Dashur. Ahmed and the tour guide helped us by ringing around and arranging us to go back after the closing time. And Ahemd drove us back to the place, negotiated with Police and Gaurds to go and check the phone for us. Luckily, they agreed and brought my child's mobile back for us. To be honest, I would have given up. But Ahemd drove us back and got it back for us. I really appreciate his efforts and help. He took us to the best places to eat, for coffee, and help us to get an Egyptain sim card, took us to ATM. The hotel arranged for the camel rides, tour to the mosques, pyramids, quad ride as we agreed the price and paid everything in advance so we didn't have to worry about arranging anything. Could we do this without the hotel? Yes, we could. But I think by paying for everything in advance we had no worry about finding things around or booking taxis etc. All four days of tours were planned and arranged by the hotel. We would just get ready, have breakfast, and go with Ahmed. Car would be ready before we come down. One time food was also included in the deal, you can see the picture of one day food. Breakfast was the same every day, it is okay for one or two days after that it be comes boring and specially for children. (so we told them the owner who said he would look into it for the variety). How ever saying that, the staff was happy to make small amendments for us, just as making two eggs or not meat with breakfast. There was no toothpaste or hair conditioner available( I suppose that might have been the case in all hotels) Beds are double but on the small size( I found that the same case in the apartment we stayed in as well, so I assume that might be the normal size double beds in Egypt).

• Jandi (8/5): - Es war kein Straßenlärm im Zimmer zu hören und die Betten waren wirklich bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gab heißes Wasser zum Duschen. Das Frühstück hat gut geschmeckt. Der Sphinx und leckere Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort und würde das Hotel wieder buchen. Alles OK.
• Alejandro (10/5): Reconfortante y acogedor - Excelente experiencia. El personal fue muy atento desde el inicio, y la recogida en el aeropuerto hizo todo mucho más fácil. La habitación es cómoda, limpia y amplia. Con una vista increíble a las pirámides al igual que desde la terraza El desayuno es bueno y la ubicación perfecta: a solo 12 minutos caminando hacia las pirámides. Siempre dispuestos a ayudar en todo. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

• Jun Hee (8/5): - 위치가 피라미드 근처라 좋았어요.. 루프탑에서 피라미드를 바라보며 먹는 조식이 최고였어요.. 작지만 엘리베이터가 있는 것도 좋았구요.. 4박 했는데 둘째날 지나고 외출 후 돌아오니 객실청소, 손님 기방 정리를 해놓아서 많이 당황했어요. 문화차이인 지는 모르겠지만 손님 무런에 손을 댄 것은 이해가 되지 않네요. 물론 분실물은 없었지만요. 작은 해프닝으로 생각하기로..^^

• Hernandez (10/5): Fenomenal - Súper céntrico a las pirámides y la atención del dueño llegue full tarde y me esperaron a esa horas en el aeropuerto… me dijeron que gratis jjjj igual me lo incluyeron en el precio de la habitación hahaha pero la intención es lo que cuenta agradecido… ya sabemos que en Egipto nada es gratis! El internet no es muy bueno, igual imagino que pasa en todos los hoteles…

• Harrison (7/5): A great value budget hotel offering stunning views of the pyramids! - The property was beautiful, with a stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the pyramids. The bedroom was spacious and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — just a five-minute walk from the pyramids. Breakfast was also delicious! The property itself was lovely. However, I was disappointed with my experience with the owner. There was constant pressure to purchase additional services, which made the stay feel less relaxed. The airport taxi was overpriced and, according to the hotel description, should have been complimentary for longer stays. The camel ride and pyramid tour also felt significantly overpriced compared to local rates. I also received a call and messages attempting to sell services, which felt unnecessary… ALL other staff were very friendly.

Rapport qualité prix très correct Éventuellement la propreté de la terrasse où se prennent les petits déjeuners, mais c’est compréhensible d’avoir un peu de poussière de sable quand on habite à 500m du desert

Sadece halı biraz tozlu gibiydi. O da kahirenin havasından olabilir bilmiyorum. Birde kahvaltısı biraz zayıf. Hatta biz Türkler için kahvaltısı çok zayıf diyebilirim. Ama çalışanlar çok iyi ve yardımsever. Sorunlarınızla ilgileniyorlar. Çıkış yaptıktan sonra da geceye kadar çantamızı sakladılar. Unutmadan tesise gelecekseniz ana cadde üzerinde adı görünmüyor. Ara sokakta kalıyor. Ana caddede inin binanın arkasında zaten.

The hotel is clean and overlooks the Giza Pyramids, and it's a 9-minute walk or less from the Grand Egyptian Museum. There are local restaurants nearby offering good food at reasonable prices. The Wi-Fi works very well throughout the hotel, and there's an elevator and private parking. The rooms are air-conditioned, which is ideal for summer stays. Breakfast is served on the rooftop with a beautiful view of the pyramids. All the staff are cheerful and welcoming, and Mr. Ahmed is very helpful. لا شيء Nothing

The Hotel and Room Aesthetics: The hotel is elegant and sophisticated, with a comfortable and luxurious interior design. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, equipped with every amenity I could need. However, the true showstopper is the mesmerizing view of the Pyramids; the scene from the window is indescribable—it's a magnificent and inspiring sight that captivates you instantly. The Enchanting Rooftop: The Rooftop is simply a paradise above the clouds! It is the absolute best place to relax and watch the sunset as it bathes the Pyramids in a golden hue. The atmosphere up there is calm and unique. I watched the Sound and Light Show from the roof, and it was a truly magical experience. The Restaurant and Service: The restaurant provides a delicious and refined dining experience. The dishes were exquisite, and the ingredients were fresh. Having breakfast with this legendary view adds double the pleasure to the meal. As for the service, it was excellent; the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to the smallest details. • Ashraf (10/5): Amazing - This place is a hidden gem off the beaten path - private and peaceful. The room was spacious, decorated nicely and exceptionally clean with a comfortable bed and sitting area. Air conditioner worked well, internet connection great, min-fridge ice cold, had an electric tea pot with tea provided, plenty of room to hang clothes. Bathroom was large, had great water pressure and a blow dryer. The Egyptian breakfast and coffee served on the rooftop were delicious! View of two pyramids from rooftop. Il voto che ho messo l’ho messo soprattutto in base alla qualità prezzo. Mai visto un posto con una qualità prezzo migliore non per scherzo. Ah dimenticavo letti molto comodi e puliti In realtà nulla tutto è andato bene. Forse solo lacqua della doccia non diventava caldissima come sono abituato a casa mia ma era ottima non era fredda.

• Cristina (10/5): Wonderful stay with privileged entry to the Great Pyramid by night - I had been here alone and this time I brought a group of 5, and once more, the hotel was wonderful. For me, the best is how clean it is, and how new the beds and rooms are. One feels very comfortable the moment you enter the room, after the noisy and dusty streets. One of us is vegan, so we asked for special breakfast and they served us fruit and vegetables, besides foul, omelette, bread, tea, coffee, water and anything we asked for. The staff is always great, what can I say I haven't said before! The cook, the people at reception and, of course, the wonderful driver Mohammed, who I'm always charmed to meet and talk to, for he has lots of amazing useful information. But the best and unforgettable part of this trip was that Mimo, the owner, helped us do a private night tour inside the Great Pyramid. I had been looking for this experience and everybody told me it is not possible, but Mimo made it possible, for he has contacts in all tourism areas. Really, that night will always be inside of us and really it made the difference. Thank you VERY much, Mimo.

Best place to stay in Cairo for a touristic trip. They help in everything but never ever hussle. Breakfast was amazing and the views from the rooftop are a dream come true. Also we were allowed to checkout late, since our flight back home was late. Perfect as every time, Gran Pyramids View.

It's clean and tidy Breakfast was the same every day and there are no choices.(An egg and falafel) The distances shown from locations on the description need to be fixed. They are WAY out. The owner was more interested in pushing his tour business than looking after the guests. I had to pay up front for my breakfasts and there was no refund if I didn't have breakfast on a particular day The hotel had no coffee and when I asked them to please get some, I had to pay extra for it.

The driver also is so kind, he and mimo both made my daughter feel very special. I stayed here with her (10 years old) and it’s very safe for children, it’s exactly what I needed. We are already planning our trip back again!

• Cristina (10/5): Silent rooms in a very nice hotel - Second time in this hotel. I loved it again. Mimo (the owner) is VERY kind, and the stuff too. They speak English perfectly and are always ready to help. Since I was staying more than 3 nights, they gave me free airport pickup (a luxury nowadays), with their driver Mohammad, who is not only perfectly gentle, but also a very interesting person who will speak as much as the customer wishes to speak. He knows I am interested in Islamic culture, so he was explaining me anything I asked along the ride. Also he drives very softly, which is always welcome in Cairo. Breakfast is delicious and more than sufficient. I chose the 2 beds room. I especially like the illumination of the rooms, both natural and electric. Also the decoration, mainly in white, is very nice and the AC works perfectly. No staff has ever asked me for a tip. I also chose to visit one of Mimo's shops, it was the cotton clothing shop in Giza and I was amazed about how huge it is. I was not insisted to buy and actually I didn't need to buy anything, but given the quality, maybe I will in future visits. My summary would be: very professional, clean and beautiful hotel.

I chose the triple room, just to try different, and I think it is my favourite, cause it is VERY big. Also it was very new, the bathroom especially I love it, with a tube as all their rooms, very spacious, with very good water pressure. As all rooms also, it has a fridge and they give you 2 bottles of water, which is welcome. Mimo allowed me to chekout late free of charge cause I arrived early morning since my night bus had a mechanical problem. He offered it without even asking. Again I say he is very kind and they are all very professional. The woman who prepares breakfast is also a love, taking care of everything and offering to open the sun umbrella any time I am at the rooftop. Thank you Gran Pyramid View Hotel!
• Iselin (3/5): Didnt feel safe as a foreign woman, in the location of the hotel - Walking distance from the pyramids. Rooftop. Never order breakfast. They will make you go all the way down from rooftop to reception to grab water. Noone said anything to me except one of the employees. Location is bad, would not reccomend for foreigners, especially women.

• Angelo (10/5): Beautiful view of the pyramids - Nice hotel in Giza with a wonderful view of the pyramids from the roof where you can have your breakfast. We stayed for two nights and we definitely recommend this place because the staff is very kind and our room was comfortable. Maybe the place is not as cleas as one would expect, so this could be improved but in general it was okay.

• Cristina (10/5): Perfect for staying in Giza - I was looking for a hotel in Giza to organize a group trip soon, and I chose this hotel for proximity with pyramids and price. And oh yeah, I was amazed when I reached there. The street is not paved but it is VERY clean, and by day you can see neighbours cleaning it. The façade of hotel is new and in front of it there was beautiful Ramadan decoration. The reception, as all the hotel, is bran new. The elevator completely new. They have cams to care for security in all areas. The staff is amazing, helpful, very nice, speaking English fluently, trying to help us with everything. And finally, my room was awesome. I chose the biggest, with 2x2m bed, and the room was huge. In the clean bathroom, a tube and good preassured water easy regulated. The best, the rooftop. We spent 4-5 hours per evening there, talking seeing Khufu and Khafra in background . What a gift of life. And breakfast was cool as well, big enough and variated (foul, falafel, eggs, jam, bread, tea and sweets) The staff offered us tours when we arrived, but they did not insist after we declined. After talking to them more, I found they are real specialists with experience and we agreed for some transportations on future trips. Also mr Mimo owns some big good quality shops of Egyptian crafts, oils and clothing...long story short: I will come back. Best hotel experience in Cairo, after 5 other hotels of similar rating.
• Sharma (9/5): Highly recommend to stay for few days for bed and breakfast accommodation. Reasonably priced, - Breakfast was served in or before time as per my request. They considered my request to serve vegetarian breakfast as I am vegetarian. However it was same breakfast for both mornings. Electrical kettle was available with sugar and tea bags. Elevator is available in this hotel. Requested for coffee pouches in the room, but couldn't get.

• Jericho (10/5): Restful Nights of Giza - I like the welcoming vibe of Mr. Mimo who is the owner of the hotel. He is very down to earth and he personally asked me the things I need like the actual location, and other concerns that I may have. I had one of the best sleeps ever! The place is located away from the bustling streets. So you can have serene peace in the room. The rooftop is amazing with the view of the pyramids. We had a nice breakfast at 2 am because it was Ramadan. I checked in together with my male friend from Sohag Egypt.I had the papyrus gift from Mr. Mimo. I suggest to get a Google map to know the location of the Pyramid ticket office from the hotel.. it is walkable to there.. the room is clean and secured... the staff are respectful and friendly. I enjoyed my two nights sleep very well.. Recommended home for a peaceful tour of Giza. The location is a little bit confusing especially if you don't have a google map. I put some pictures in here so you can get some ideas on how it looks like from the street.

• Charlotte (8/5): Would recommend to stay here - The room was large, had a fridge, very clean. The beds were super comfy and we slept really well. The shower was hot, they cleaned the room daily and were happy to serve you meals in your room if you didn't want to go up to the roof terrace. The staff were fantastic. Helped with anything that we needed, even sorted out my sim card for my phone and got more data for me. When we needed to get across town rather than me organise a taxi, they offered to take us, then organised a driver to wait and bring us back (for a very small fee). This level.of service was really unexpected and as a solo travelling female with 2 daughters it was very much appreciated. Tours were offered, but they were not pushy. The breakfast was good, in fact, we only needed to order 2 which was easily enough to feed all 3 of us. The same for dinner. We enjoyed watching the fireworks over the Pyramids..there was a great view of all the New Year festivities from the roof terrace. Some remodelling (painting in the stairwells) was still going on, but didn't impact our stay, and the elevator was working (so no stairs to climb with luggage as previous people experienced) Its a little further to the Pyramids/Sphinx entrance than I thought, not easily walkable due to crowded pavements and busy roads, but only 5 minutes by car
