• Maxime (10/5): Meilleur place à Berat. - La chambre été incroyable et le service fournis par les propriétaires juste sur mesure. L’accès jusqu’à l’appartement peux s’avérer quelque peux éprouvant mais ça reste quand même gerable.

The road to the place is very steep, narrow and is under construction for a long time. For us it was un accessible. We left our car down in the city and the Owner took us with his truck
• Rey (10/5): Excelente - Muy lindo! Buena ubicación, la habitación tiene un balcón con hermosa vista, la habitación está muy bonita y limpia y la anfitriona es muy amable y atenta. Cuando nos recibió nos preguntó a qué hora queríamos desayunar y a esa hora tenía todo pronto en la terraza. El desayuno es tradicional y muy completo. Nos encantó! .

• Martin (10/5): - Beautiful view from the balcony, great breakfast served straight to the balcony in the room and very nice owners. The road to the accommodation is a big hill with a stone path and in the rain it was a bit of an adrenaline rush to get to the place with a "non-terrain" car.
• Magda (10/5): - Spędziliśmy pełne dwa dni w Berat. Państwo wynajmujący są mega życzliwi i pomocni. Byliśmy zachwyceni smacznymi domowymi śniadaniami. Dostawaliśmy też owoce z sadu. Wychodząc na balkon widzieliśmy piękną panoramę gór. Polecamy z całego serca ❤️ Trzeba się przygotować na to że dojazd do Vila Toska jest wymagający, szczególnie w deszczową pogodę.

• Svajunas (10/5): Wow :) - Wow, the place is excellent and very comfortable. Breakfast is tasty and good. The views are beautiful. The most important the hosts are incredibly nice.
• Barbora (10/5): - Our best accommodation in Albania. Modern, very clean and comfortable room and bathroom. At the same time, the hosts' family and warm approach. Beautiful terrace with a view, where an excellent breakfast was served. Unlike breakfast in other accommodations in Albania, we really appreciate that we were served hot drinks (tea and coffee). The host was also very helpful when the mechanic fixed our flat tire, even though it was around 10 pm and his football match was being broadcast :-)

They made us feel welcomed amd made sure we had a good experience. The breakfast was very delicious, especially the Byrek, one of the best I had in Albania. Would definitely recommend this place for its hospitality and comfort.

• Anne (10/5): Comfortable rooms, great view, lovely hosts. - The hosts, the view from the house, the rooms, having breakfast on the terrace. It was a wonderful stay. They rent out three rooms, each nice and clean, recently all totally refurbished. The hosts are a super friendly couple. They serve homemade breakfast with local products and with food from their own garden/chickens. It was all really nice. It is a short walk (10 min) to the Castle and also (10 min) to the main road. The road was construction when we were there and do-able by car…
• Xavier (10/5): - Emplacement idéal entre le château et la vieille ville, avec vue superbe sur la ville depuis la terrasse de notre chambre. En 1/4 d'heure maxi à pied on est aux sites. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! Pain et beignets faits maidon, Gliko, ... Tout était délicieux. Parking privé appréciable. Attention , le chemin est raide pour arriver. Il était en travaux quand nous sommes venus. Il sera bientôt terminé et mieux roulant.

La petite route pour accéder est un peu chaotique. À éviter si vous avez un véhicule rabaisser. Avec un simple hyundai coupé j'ai manqué d'arracher le pare-choc.

• Ullrich (10/5): - Sehr liebevolle Betreuung durch die Gastgeber, leckeres Frühstück, sehr schönes Zimmer, alles hat funktioniert, Parkplatz im Hof. Auffahrt zur location ist recht steil, für SUV jedoch easy. Große Festungsanlage mit Bewirtschaftungen nur 15 min. zu Fuß oberhalb der Unterkunft. Wir waren 2 Nächte da und kommen gerne wieder. • Marco (9/5): Ich würde die Vila Toska jederzeit wieder buchen & besuchen! - Die Gastgeber waren extrem freundlich, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass man zur Familie gehört. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und schön/gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonderes Highlight war die Aussicht vom Balkon über Berat, atemberaubend. Das einzige Problem war die Straße zur Unterkunft, diese war extrem eng und schlecht ausgebaut. Allerdings wird diese aktuell saniert sodass es in Zukunft besser sein müsste.

Très calme et très propre, idéalement placé pour visiter le château de berat et le centre ville. La disponibilité et les petites attentions des hôtes. Nous recommandons fortement.
• Benjamin (10/5): Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt - Schöne Unterkunft mit sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Das Frühstück war grandios und mit Liebe gemacht. Die Anfahrt war ein bisschen abenteuerlich.
• Rebecca (10/5): Fantastischer Aufenthalt in Berat - Unser Aufenthalt in der Vila Toska war wirklich außergewöhnlich schön. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sehr geräumig und äußerst sauber. Die Vila wird von einem sehr freundlichen Ehepaar geführt, das sich mit viel Mühe darum bemüht, den Gästen den bestmöglichen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Auch das Frühstück war fantastisch – die frisch zubereiteten Speisen stammten teilweise sogar aus eigenem Anbau. Wie in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben, ist die Straße zur Vila Toska etwas abenteuerlich, für geübte Fahrer aber kein Problem.

Tough non paved access way by car. A better way was to drive up to the castle and then down by dirt easy way to the room. Same way to drive down to the center. Paving of the road will be started shortly.

• Daniela (10/5): Gastfreundliche Unterkunft - Die Vila Toska liegt fußläufig auf einem Berg zwischen Burg und Osum-Fluss. Bergauf dauert es circa 10-15 Minuten zur Burg. Bergab ist man in circa 10 Minuten an der Brücke nach Gorica. Der Rückweg dauert etwas länger, da es steil bergauf geht. Die Fahrt vom Kreisverkehr zur Vila ist abenteuerlich und sollte möglichst mit einem höheren Auto befahren werden - es besteht die Gefahr aufzusetzen! Ansonsten ist die Lage top! Das Zimmer ist klein, jedoch sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der große Balkon bietet einen Blick auf Berat und die Berge. Das Frühstück war super lecker und reichhaltig. Es gab Pflaumensaft und Aprikosenmarmelade beides aus eigener Ernte selbstgemacht. Die Vermieter sind beide super nett und man kann gut mit ihnen plaudern. Wir durften unser Auto netterweise sogar unter das Carport stellen. Obwohl wir viel zu früh waren, war es kein Problem das Auto abzustellen. Wir hätten sogar noch auf Toilette gehen können und Wasser wurde uns auch gleich angeboten. Vielen lieben Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! Der Lüfter im Bad war sehr, sehr laut.
• Diogo (10/5): Most welcoming stay in Berat - First and foremost, the hosts. They were some of the nicest people we have ever met and ready to receive us with an open smile. We ended up having the whole house for ourselves which was great. The breakfast in the morning was big, full of ingredients from their garden and so tasteful. We can’t recommend enough coming here, even if just to meet our incredible hosts.

• Ansgar (9/5): Liebevolle Gastgeber, ruhige Unterkunft, leckeres Frühstück - Die Vila Toska bietet drei großzügige Zimmer, die Eigentümerfamilie wohnt in dem Haus. Die Zimmer sind groß, hell, neu und blitzsauber mit bequemen Betten. Unseres hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit Blick über das Tal und einen Esstisch für drei Personen. Die Vermieter sind äußerst herzlich, alles ist liebevoll dekoriert und sie sind bemüht, sich weiter zu verbessern. Das Frühstück wird individuell draußen als Tellergericht serviert und ist üppig und zum Großteil aus eigener kleiner Landwirtschaft. Die Börek frisch aus dem Ofen waren exzellent, ebenfalls die frischen Eier, der Käse, selbstgemachte Marmelade und viel frisches Obst und Gemüse. Wir wurden wie alte Freunde aufgenommen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und über einen Waldweg ist man zu Fuß in 10 min auf der Burg oder unten am Fluss. Auto besser stehen lassen, in Berat kann man ohnehin kaum Parkplätze finden. Die Anfahrt über eine unbefestigte Straße erfordert etwas fahrerisches Geschick, sieht aber abenteuerlicher aus, als sie tatsächlich ist. Baulich ist das Haus wie oft in Albanien mit recht dünnen Abwasserrohren ausgestattet und die Besitzer haben Angst vor Verstopfung der Toiletten. Uns ist nichts passiert aber man sollte aufpassen, was und wie viel Papier man hinein wirft. Ist ohnehin besser für die Umwelt.

• Sander (9/5): Fantastisch - Prachtige uitzicht boven op de berg bij Berat, gelegen dus het centrum beneden en de burcht boven. Naar beiden kun je toe wandelen. De eigenaars zijn supervriendelijk en aardig, doen er alles aan om het je maar de zin te maken. Heerlijk ontbijt op prachtig terras. Aanrader! Niet zo zeer dat er iets niet beviel, het was top, alleen de wandeling omhoog vanaf het dorp kan pittig zijn

• candice (10/5): Wonderfully clean room with a great balcony. - The family are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was spotless with a balcony with a great view. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning with home made and home grown ingredients. The house is a bumpy ten minutes walk up to the castle and an equally bumpy ten minutes walk down to the town and river. Berat is a great place and I highly recommend you stay here.
• Valentin (10/5): Best in town - Une petite famille au petit soin, très accueillante, dans une ville plus que magnifique à visiter ! Pas très loin il y a les canyons facilement visitable si vous possédez une voiture. L'emplacement de la villa est superbe avec une vue incroyable au lever du jour.
• Nele (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgebern. - Sehr schöne Lage und Aussicht. Auch waren die Gastgeber äußerst sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Zudem war das Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe angerichtet. Was außerdem klar für einen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft spricht, ist das sehr-gute Preisleistungsverhältniss. Fazit: Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter und kommen gerne wieder :)

Die Aussicht ist unschlagbar & das morgens frisch zubereitete Frühstück ist auch sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Für den Fußweg vom Hotel zur Stadt, muss man gut zu Fuß sein und etwas fitter.

• Veronika (10/5): Výjimečný pobyt v Berat - Naprosto výjimečná zkušenost s ubytováním u velmi milé rodiny, která se starala o naše pohodlí a spokojenost. Bylo cítit, že to dělají srdcem. Parkování u ubytování, pokoj prostorný, čistý, snídaně bezkonkurenční s domácími produkty, nachystaná přesně v čas, jaký si řeknete. Poloha ubytování na kopci s krásným výhledem, kousek na hrad i do centra města chůzí. Moc děkujeme za úžasný pobyt u vás! Příjezdová cesta není zpevněná, ale vyjet se s opatrností dá i městským autem.

A szállásadók fiával egyeztettünk az érkezésünkről, rugalmasak voltak az érkezésünk bizonytalanságával kapcsolatban. A kilátás pazar volt a szoba erkélyéről. A szoba teljesen rendben volt. A reggeli csodás volt, tradicionális és házias fogásokkal is A szállás megközelítése különösen éjjel izgalmasnak tűnt, de igazából problémamentes volt.
• Emma (10/5): Don't miss this fantastic Vila in Berat - From the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome and our hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our room looked brand new and great care had been taken to present it well. Our beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning extremely efficient and our bathroom was immaculate, with a great shower. Breakfast each morning was truly delicious and varied each morning we were there. When we next visit Berat we would love to stay at Vila Toska again. Nothing!

• Marten (10/5): - Die Lage der Wohnung ist ideal. Es sind 10 Minuten zur Burg den Berg hoch oder 10 Minuten den Berg runter in die historische Altstadt. Alle wichtigen Orte in Berat sind bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet.

• Alexander (10/5): - Hervorragende Gastgeber, außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war prima. Von der Zufahrt nicht irritieren lassen. Sie ist zwar etwas holprig und bei unserer Anreise nicht leicht zu finden, aber gut zu fahren. Sowohl der Burgbereich (ca. 10 Minuten bergwärts) als auch das Altstadtviertel (ebenfalls ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß, jedoch talwärts) waren sehr gut erreichbar. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt in Berat.
• I (10/5): - Gyönyörű helyen lévő, nagyon tiszta apartman. Csodás kilátás nyílik az erkélyről és a teraszról. A vendéglátók nagyon barátságosak és készségesek. A reggeli finom, bőséges, gyümölcsökkel kedveskednek. A feljutás még kissé kalandos, de mindent megtesznek, hogy mielőbb aszfaltozott út vezesse a szálláshelyig. A magasan fekvő szállás előnye a fantasztikus panoráma és a vár közelsége. A privát parkolási lehetőségnek is örültünk.

The view from the balcony was spectacular and there was a 10 min direct path to Berat castle from the accomodation. The breakfast was great, with a large collection of local products (bread, feta, vegetables, olive, prune jam). We would definitely sleep there again!

• Júlia (10/5): Perfecte - Totalment nou i reformat, la millor habitació que hem tingut a Albània. El personal maquíssim, el pare i el fill es comunicàven molt bé en anglès. Ens van convidar a una copeta de vi tradicional, molt amables. El esmorzar tradicional albanès fet amb molt carinyo. El camí amb cotxe es de sorra i pedra i es una mica complicat però res que no es pugui fer amb paciència. Una mica allunyat per anar a peu al centre, però es fa bé.

• Mégane (8/5): Des hôtes très gentils - Le gentillesse des hôtes et leurs petites attentions, la vue de la chambre. Le fait que la douche ne soit pas séparée du reste de la salle de bain : pas de rideau ou paroi donc tout est éclaboussé
• Anthony (9/5): - Perché dans les hauteurs, à quelques minutes à pied du Chateau, cette villa offre une très belle vue sur une partie de la ville de Berat. On entend au loin les rires des enfants de la ville, et on admire, le soir, un joli couché de soleil. Le logement est neuf et extrêmement propre. L'atout principal de notre passage (2 nuits) reste la gentillesse et l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Nous avons échangé nos quotidiens , un petit verre à la main, avec beaucoup de rires. Nous recommandons totalement. Il est vrai que l'accès y est un peu délicat, surtout si vous redoutez les démarrages en côte et les virages serrés. Mais tels sont les reliefs de l'Albanie. De plus, ce chemin, actuellement formé de pierres et de cailloux, fera, d'ici quelques mois, place à une belle route goudronnée et éclairée. Donc ne vous arrêtez pas à ce petit détail.

• Marnie (10/5): - The overnight stay we had at Vila Toska Berat was AMAZING. The accommodation is just perfect, clean, modern, very spacious and there is a beautiful view from the terrace and private balcony. The location high on the hill is great. The most impressive aspect, though, were the hosts with their warm, welcoming, and kind nature making our stay special. ( for example...we asked about local wine tasting - and so they went and sourced us some local wine from their friends for us to take with us when we left!) We wish we could have stayed longer. They are lovely people. We loved everything!!

• Ludice (10/5): - Le couple qui gère ce logement est juste adorable, toujours disponible pour vous aider. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, et différent chaque matin. La chambre est moderne et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un agréable séjour. L'emplacement est idéal, à la fois pour se rendre en centre ville, mais aussi au château La route pour arriver à l'établissement n'est pas facile, prenez de l'élan avant de vous lancer au risque de caler.

• Mandy (10/5): - Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Familie empfangen! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hatte einen fantastischen Ausblick, die Betten waren bequem und das Frühstück sehr lecker. Wir kommen gern wieder.

• Rosa (9/5): Eine schöne Unterkunft mit freundlichen Gastgebern. - Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück wurde sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und wurde auf der Terasse serviert. Zum Abschluss haben wir noch Zitronen aus ihrem eigenen Garten bekommen. Der Fußweg zur Burg mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf Berat dauert nur wenige Minuten. Die Anfahrt mit dem Auto war sehr steil und nicht asphaltiert.
• Fabian (9/5): - Sehr herzliche Gastgeber! Alles war sauber und die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten! Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist aktuell noch über eine nicht asphaltierte Straße zu erreichen, da muss der Mietwagen kämpfen. Aber dafür ist es ja ein Mietwagen..
• Marie-Luise Fieker (7/5): - Gute Lage nahe der Burg Gastgeber hat uns zur Begrüßung frische Kirschen gebracht Fliegengitter an den Fenstern Aussicht von der allgemeinen Terrasse Sehr kleiner Balkon nur ausreichend für eine Person Dürftiges Frühstück. Nur trockenes Brot etwas Gurke, Tomate eine Paprika ein hartes Ei, Schale Marmelade und etwas Feta. Keine Butter oder frisches Obst. Kaffee (nur türkisch) nur auf Nachfrage Kein Tee leider eines der schlechtesten Frühstücke unseres Urlaubs Schwierige Verständigung mit der Betreiberin. Ihr Mann und Sohn sprechen aber gut englisch. Sehr schwierige Anfahrt. Ohne Allrad kaum zu bewältigen bei Regen vermutlich überhaupt nicht. Es soll aber demnächst asphaltiert werden

• Erika (10/5): Ottimo alloggio per la visita di Berat, in quartiere residenziale tranquillo. - Ho amato la grande ospitalità dell'host e la sua fantastica colazione. Colazione super, con prodotti freschi e fatti in casa. Le stanze sono pulite e confortevoli, letti comodi e silenzio notturno. Posizione molto comoda per la visita di Berat. Niente da segnalare.
• Mariann (10/5): - Extremely warm welcome. They even took us home from the old town, as I did not want to climb up , and wanted to take a taxi. Everything is super clean, the view is unbeatable. The road upto their house is quite challenging, but our small Honda rental car could survive it!

• Daniela (10/5): Perfetto! - Soggiornare a Villa Toska è stata un’esperienza davvero speciale. La villa si trova immersa nella pace e nella tranquillità, appena all’esterno della splendida città di Berat. È una casa bellissima, curatissima in ogni dettaglio dai due proprietari, persone di una gentilezza rara: al nostro rientro ci hanno accolto con frutta fresca e la mattina ci hanno coccolato con una colazione fantastica sulla terrazza, preparata con prodotti biologici locali. Marmellate fatte in casa, uova fresche delle loro galline, limoni del loro orto: un'autentica delizia! Con solo due stanze disponibili, l’atmosfera è intima e rilassante, senza alcun affollamento. Un dettaglio da considerare è il tratto di circa 800 metri di strada non asfaltata che collega la villa al centro: il fondo è un po' sconnesso e presenta un piccolo tornante. Può risultare meno comodo per chi si sposta a piedi o per chi ha difficoltà a guidare su strade sterrate. Tuttavia, si percorre in pochi minuti e consente di raggiungere agevolmente il bellissimo castello di Berat, in cui si trovano anche ristoranti e dei bazar. Per noi è stato comunque parte del fascino dell’esperienza: ne è davvero valsa la pena!

The hosts were very nice and kind, always helpful and responsive. Would totally stay there again and recommend to my friends for short or long stays. It is very close to the castle and 15min walk from the city centre. nothing

• Pierre (10/5): Wir haben ganz ganz viel Liebe erfahren ❤️ - Uns hat alles gefallen. Der Empfang war so herzlich. Unsere liebe Gastfamilie hat uns unser Herz warmgemacht. So viel Liebe und herzliches Willkommen haben wir noch nie erlebt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Balkon und eine niedliche Terrasse sowie Parkplatz. Das Wifi ist schnell und zuverlässig. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Handtücher, Föhn und so weiter. Der liebe Sohn der Familie spricht ausgezeichnetes Englisch. Der Papa auch und die liebe Mama redet mit ihren Augen, wir konnten uns mit allen gut verständigen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr sehr gut. Wir wurden von vorne bis hinten verwöhnt und wollen unbedingt wiederkommen. Es ist absolut zu empfehlen hier herzukommen. Fühlt euch gedrückt, liebe Grüße, Rita und Pierre. Uns hat alles gefallen an der Unterkunft. Die Straße um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen ist recht anspruchsvoll. Wir kamen mit einem gemieteten Fiat Panda und der kleine Panda hat es ohne Probleme den Berg hoch geschafft. Trotzdem solltet ihr aufpassen um nicht aufzusetzen.
• Joana (10/5): - The family that hosted us was very friendly and sweet 😊, the place was very clean and comfortable, with a nice view :)! The house was on a hill, so a bit difficult to reach, but nevertheless close enough to reach the old town and the castle by foot :)
