• Diogo (9/5): - O hotel é um pouco afastado do centro da cidade, mas nada que um táxi não resolva. Em compensação, tem uma vista formidável da montanha. Além disso, a cozinha serve pratos maravilhosos, o que dispensa a necessidade de se deslocar a outro lugar. Destaque para a Luiza, que organiza toda a logística local e não mede esforços para ajudar os hóspedes.

Su comida a la habitación es muy buena. Puedes llegar a la hora que quieras de entrada y salida. Sus areas comunes son bonitas Las habitaciones estan muy descuidadas. Focos no sirven, los baños estan deteriorados, los muebles se ven viejos, no hay insonorización todo se escucha. El desayuno es pobre, pequeño y no tiene variedad. No hay limpieza diaria. La ubicacion es complicada tienes que salir en motochiva si no tienes carro no es muy amigable para salir

Honestly could not think of a better place to stay. The staff is the best and the food is yummy. My Fiance and I enjoyed our stay and plan to be back soon.

Le personnel était très à l'écoute (nous étions pratiquement les seuls clients). Nous avons aussi profité des massages proposés. Petit déjeuner simple et correct (sans plus). Très belle vue sur le lac et sans vis-à-vis (assez courant pour tous les hotels en dehors de la ville). Pas de diner le soir. Il vous faudra aller à Guatapé ville (c'est à 10-15' en voiture) et c'est bien agréable à visiter.

• MICHAEL (10/5): - This place is absolutely amazing. They have a jacuzzi in the room. You can see El Penol from the room. They have 2 jacuzzi outside with a view of El Penol. They serve breakfast and lunch. The staff is incredible and super helpful. The service is the best. I did not want to leave. It's one of the best places. They arranged horseback riding for us. They could also arrange jetski's and many other things. They even have a lighthouse you can have dinner in or take pictures from over the lake. I liked everything. The room could have used a fan.

• Denis (9/5): Great for a short energetic and romantic stay. - The location is absolutely awesome, you have the full scale Rock view, and you have a lake view from the other side. (We chose the rock side. Check where your window is facing) You can get down to the lake, there is a short trail. Comfortable parking area, and quite large. Nice breakfast at the nice roof-covered outdoor cafe that’s facing the Rock. The staff don’t speak English, but they were nice and friendly. We used a translation app and our weak Spanish with gestures ;) It’s noisy at night, people/guest constantly have a party at the hotel’s common area. But i liked that!, For me this stay should be calm. So we took a part of the party a bit and then we were hanging out in our room with a jacuzzi, romantically and then energetically ;) So, I highly recommend the hotel, for a short hangout. Just don’t expect a calm nights;) The room was poorly furnished but it is ok for a short stay. We chose a suite with a private jacuzzi bath, it’s fully functional, but it leaks (not a big deal). More importantly the humidity problem when you use the bath. If you open a window, some mosquitos can come, but without it, your room will be impossible to sleep in, completely wet. Now, We had a lot of fun using the bath! I highly recommend it for couples especially. But the humidity issues can be solved as well I believe, by the hotel I mean. ADVISE: Don’t think you will be able to walk to the rock on foot from the hotel. The direct way is always closed, and to get around the rock will take you really too long. Use tuck-tucks (a little local taxi) or your car (they have a large parking up there, along with a lot of cafes and restaurants, and the parking isn’t expensive).

• Aliaksandr (6/5): In short, this hotel has the potential to be something special thanks to its location, but the lack of maintenance, poor - The only real positives were breakfast, which was tasty and nicely presented, and the location, which is very convenient for visiting El Peñol Rock. Both gave a glimpse of what the place could be if it were better run. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. Two weeks before check-in I even received a scam message through Booking.com, sent under the hotel’s name and email, asking me to enter my credit card details for “online check-in.” That already felt unsafe. When we arrived, it was pouring rain, there was no covered parking, and although three employees were standing at the entrance watching, no one offered an umbrella or a hand with luggage. The check-in itself went quickly, but the receptionist then walked us to the room, stepped in before us, and started shutting windows and curtains — something that felt unnecessary and odd. The room with jacuzzi we booked turned out to be a big disappointment. The tub was not clean, and once the jets were turned on, clouds of dust and even insects came out, as if it hadn’t been used in months. After sitting in that water, we tried to wash off, only to find out there was no hot water. The next day, the situation was the same — not enough hot water even to fill the tub. Then the toilet clogged. When we asked to change rooms, staff didn’t offer a solution but instead blamed us for “using too much paper.” There were no signs about restrictions, and we had barely used it. Instead of moving us, several employees came into the room with tools, making noise and leaving an unpleasant smell until it was fixed. The overall impression of the property was one of neglect. Fancy decorative touches were there, but everything was broken or dusty. It looked like the walls had been repainted recently, since white paint dust covered furniture and even the TV remote. All four wall hangers were broken. The WiFi was so weak it was practically unusable, and cell signal inside was poor, leaving us disconnected. Bed linen and towels were clean but stained, giving an uncomfortable feeling. On top of that, our room was just above the parking and entrance, so we constantly heard staff noise.

• Edward Dalton (10/5): Great location, near the Piedra del Peñol and stunning views. - The staff is great and the room very clean. The view is amazing (no need to have a room with a view on the top floors). At night it is really quiet and peaceful. No A/C and the bedsheets were a little dirty (mostly stains). During the day, there were some construction workers drilling so taking a nap was not an option.
