• Breann (8/5): Beautiful hotel, would recommend for a short stay in Dhermi! - Beautiful property on the hill overlooking the beach. Very aesthetic and comfortable. Staff were very willing to help with luggage and any requests! Lovely big room! No door on the bathroom and curtains weren’t wide enough to cover the whole window. We were located by the pool and restaurant so needed to open the cupboard to overlap with the curtains to stop people being able to see in the window at night.

Les services piscine, sauna sont certainement un plus. La cuisine est vraiment très raffiné avec des produits mis en valeurs et digne d’un restaurant étoilé. Un petit détail peut être c’est de mettre un emplacement pour le savon à main et réchauffer un peu l’eau de la piscine du spa

Free parking although limited We went out of season but it was expensive compared to everywhere else we stayed in Albania

The staff were also all lovely and very accommodating The only negatives were that not everything was ready - we wanted some spa treatments but they didn’t have some things they needed and the restaurant and bar weren’t fully stocked which makes it a bit less worth the money. We arrived just before high season so I’m sure it’s fine then but if we’re paying the same we’d expect to have all the same facilities and services
• Laila (10/5): Amazing atmosphere and views - We had a fantastic stay at the hotel – the place itself, the surroundings, and the overall atmosphere were truly impressive. However, what really elevated the experience to a perfect 10/10 was the service provided by Noel and Ani. They stood out with their exceptional attentiveness. Their level of service was outstanding, and no matter what question we had, they took the time to explain everything in such a humble, patient, and positive manner. They deserves great recognition – together, they created a service experience that truly stood out. We sincerely hope that the entire staff takes inspiration from these two, as they were genuinely the only ones who consistently delivered service at the highest level during our stay. As a small point of feedback, we would like to mention that communication regarding the hotel’s facilities could be improved. While the hotel had opened, not all amenities were available, and this was unfortunately not communicated on the website or at the time of booking. That was a bit disappointing. That said, Noel’s and Ani’s exceptional service made us almost completely forget about this issue. A big thank you to Noel and Ani – we hope the rest of the staff follows your example.

La piscine super jolie Le personnel un peu froid par moment, et l’endroit un peu excentré, mais étant donné qu’il y a tout dans l’hôtel, ce n’est pas forcément un problème. • Matt (4/5): Zoe Hora was extremely disappointing - All our other stays on this trip were exceptional - Liked the view from up on the hill. The main building and the main pool area Friendly housekeeping staff. What we didn’t like: Where to start – our biggest gripe with this hotel was that we had booked and paid for an experience that we did not receive. The beautiful hotel that you see in the photos and read about in the descriptions was running on empty. After check in we were told that because it was now the end of high season the resort would be running at reduced capacity and therefore only one restaurant and one bar would be open. The cocktail and hookah lounges were closed, fitness/yoga/pilates classes not on offer. (Perhaps if this was communicated at the time of booking and a reduced rate was offered, guests could weigh up their options, make a more informed decision and not be disappointed) Guests are still charged full price and then do not receive near what is advertised. Ok well - we are here now; we will try to make the most of it and after a bit of unpacking we met up with the rest of our group at the lovely poolside bar and ordered a round of drinks. To our disappointment, only one of the drinks could be provided as we were told they had run out and would not be restocking. Numerous options were unavailable. The traditional restaurant and onsite café we had wanted to try during our stay were closed, leaving only the most expensive fine dining option. Later that evening when we decided to try the restaurant, most items on the menu had been struck off and what did finally get served up was very meagre in portion size and outrageously expensive. At the included breakfast the following day, the staff when asked if there was coffee available, gave us conflicting explanations - we first got a reply that the machine was broken, then it was changed to the standard reply – they had run out and would not be restocking. When we asked about their laundry service, we were told that they were no longer providing the service as it was end of season and they were too busy. The list goes on, but to cut a long story short, other areas of disappointment were : Mouldy and unclean shower, stained couch and burn marks on couch pillows, broken LED TV screen, no coffee/teacups provided, Kettle in the room could only be used when placed on the floor due to a short power lead, no teabags provided and on asking we finally received loose leaf tea with no strainer. On asking - there was no strainer they could provide. There were no hooks or rack provided in the room to hang your bath towels to dry. Other guests in our party also experienced similar problems – Constant smell of cigarette smoke seeping into the room from somewhere (advertised as a non-smoking room hotel), and broken light fittings etc. Stray dogs were allowed to lounge around guest areas and defecate where they please. Reception, restaurant, and bar staff were unwelcoming, appeared disengaged and did not want to be there at all in the last week of opening season. We did try to find other options for food and entertainment. The nearby thriving beachside hub of Dhermi was anything but. The streets were mostly deserted and strewn with rubbish. We found one other hotel open and that was where we ate the following night. On arrival back to Zoe Hora the second evening staff seemed more interested in continuing their own party and drinks by the pool. We were appalled by the lack of customer service and facilities for a hotel marketed as 5-star. Guests are charged full price without being notified that facilities, amenities, services and offerings are significantly reduced. Due to overall disappointment at a Zoe Horror experience, we cut our stay short and stayed only 2 of the 4 nights booked. When we approached management to tell them that we would be cutting our stay short and the reasons why, the only compensation that could be offered was a potential discount on our next stay. Ha! As if we would be in the position to travel this far again any time soon.

Booked a room months in advance and two days before my arrival, received a message that my reservation couldn't be honored due to a wedding at the property (how was this not known sooner?). They offered to transfer my reservation to their "comparable" sister property (Drymades Inn Resort) and while it seems like this resort will be nice at some point in the future (and the staff was great), it is still very much under construction and was not a suitable replacement for the inconvenience of my stay being cancelled with little notice. Feels like a bait and switch on the part of the hotel company and left a very bad impression. Bookers beware.

• Alona (8/5): - המיקום והיופי של המלון. החדרים מעוצבים מאוד יפה וכל פינה היא צילומית ומיוחדת. אנחנו ביקרנו לא בעונה ולכן לא יכלנו להנות מהבריכה המהממת. הנוף מהמלון מדהים. המסעדה של המלון טעימה מאוד אבל יקרה מידי לטעמי ולא נמצאת בסטנדרט של מסעדות יוקרה בשביל לקחת כאלה מחירים. למשל- חתולים שמסתובבים חופשי במלון עלו על צלחות שפונו באיזו פינה של המסעדה (המלצר לא פינה כלים רק הערים אותם על העגלה באיזו פינה ולא היה אף אחד שיעזור לו). המוסיקה כל הזמן נעצרה ולקח זמן עד שאוטו המלצר נזכר להגיע ולהדליק אותה מהטלפון ששכב שם. בנוסף, המלון מדהים ביופיו אבל אצלנו בחדר המזרון של המיטה הזוגית רך עד לרמה ששוקעים איפה ששוכבים. אני אמנם בהריון חודש חמישי אבל זו פעם ראשונה שקמתי עם כאבי גב. וגם היה חסר באמבטיה מקום לתלות מגבות וגם מתקן לנייר טואלט לא היה. בנוסף היה קומקום בחדר אבל ללא תה וללא כוסות לתה.

It was so pleasant that we didn’t want to leave the resort - although we did walk up to the old church at sunset. We paid for a massage which was well worth it. Food and drinks were very expensive and perhaps not justifiably so. Although it is an upmarket accommodation, the prices were exorbitant compared to all other places we visited, ate at, and stayed in during our time in Albania. It's a very unique location though and we were very glad to have stayed there for the night.

• Dalia (5/5): - מלון יפה מאד, ממוקם על צלע הר עם נוף משגע האירוח ממש לא היה במיטבו, ובפרט ביחס למחיר הגבוה ששילמנו, החל מהצ׳ק אין ועד שעזבנו את המלון, הרגשנו מאד לא רצויים. החדרים שקיבלנו רחוקים מהבניין המרכזי וגם כשירד גשם לא הסכימו לאסוף אותנו עם גולף קאר ונאלצנו ללכת בגשם. ארוחת הבוקר דלה מאד ביחס למלונות אחרים בהם שהינו באלבניה שעלו הרבה פחות. הבריכה המקורה לא פתוחה לילדים מתלת לגיל 15 בניגוד למה שרשום בבוקינג וזה מאד ביאס כי ירד גשם רוב השהות שלנו שם. רק ביום השני אישרו לנו להיכנס לבריכה המקורה עם הילדים… כשעזבנו את המלון המתנו מחוץ לחדר 40 דקות עד לאיסוף המזוודות, רק לאחר שביקדנו עזרה בערך 5 פעמים. בקיצור מלון עם פוטנציאל אדיר, אהל מבחינתנו לא קיבלנו תמורה למחיר

• Shelly (5/5): מיקום יפה, שירות לא טוב - המלון יפהפה הגענו באוקטובר לפני הסגירה של המלון לקראת החורף והשירות היה ניכר שכבר אין להם צורך להשקיע באורחים שלהם. הזמנתי את המקום כי ראיתי פה המלצות חמות אבל כנראה שהן נכונות רק לעונת הקיץ.... ארוחת הבוקר היתה סבירה מינוס. המלצר התעקש לא לכתוב את ההזמנה ולזכור בעל פה מה שגרם לכך שהוא חילק כל הזמן את הקפה הלא נכון לאורחים והיינו צריכים לבקש ממנו 3 פעמים שיביא לנו כוס קפה. ההתלהבות בביקורות פה מהארוחה לא ברורה לי אולי כי באמת בתקופה הזאת של השנה פחות משקיעים באוכל. בגלל שכל דרמי סגורה ואין כמעט מסעדות פתוחות בתקופה זו, אכלנו ארוחת ערב במלון. ארוחת הערב היתה מאוד יקרה, רוב המנות בתפריט לא היו זמינות; שוב מאותה סיבה "זה לא העונה". בחדר היה ריח חזק מאוד של טחב ועובש ומוטות הזיון בתקרה חשופות (סכנה תברואתית וקונסטרוקטיבית). מקווה שלקראת הפתיחה המחודשת ישפצו ויבדקו את החדר. המלון באמת יפהפייה ובנוי כמו כפר הררי. אבל לצערי מלבד זה לא קיבלנו שום תמורה.

Personal gibt sich mühe, aber ist nicht zu vergleichen mit europäischem Standard zu dem Preis! Keine Bar, in der Minibar fehlte der Korkenzieher! Abendessen im Hotel nur auf reservierung. Essen super gut, service weniger - für den Preis darf man mehr erwarten.

• Markus (7/5): - Gebäude, Architektur, Aussicht, Lage Positiv aufgefallen und sehr freundlich war ein junger Mann aus Myanmar. Auch die Jungs vom Service waren zuvorkommend. Dame an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich und uninteressiert. Im Zimmer roch es nach Feuchtigkeit. Restaurant bot nicht alle Gerichte aus der Karte an. Influencer-Hotel, leider mehr schein als sein.

• Ori (2/5): Not Worth it - Looks pretty and unique We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were not clean and poorly maintained, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start. The restaurant was overpriced, and the food did not justify the cost — especially considering that half of the menu items were unavailable. On top of that, the overall rates for the hotel were extremely high and did not reflect the quality of service or facilities provided. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place and feel it does not offer good value for money.

• Maitè (9/5): Prachtig hotel - Prachtig hotel! De locatie en het uitzicht zijn adembenemend. De kamer en het zwembad waren erg mooi en proper. De wellness is ook zeker een pluspunt. Het personeel is erg sympathiek en behulpzaam. Ontbijt is heel goed. Het eten is er lekker, maar best prijzig en vooral eentonig. De menu voor de lunch en het avondmaal zijn hetzelfde. Ook zijn er maar 2 vegetarische opties. Als je er dus meerdere dagen bent, eet je elke middag en avond hetzelfde.

• Eden (9/5): חוויה, מלון מאוד מיוחד ונעים להיות בו, הכל מאוד אסתטי - מקום יפייפה. חדרים בסגנון איטלקי, שירות טוב יש 2 בריכות ונוף מהמם ומיוחד שווה להזמין מקום למסעדה בערב/בשקיעה, אמנם לא הכי זולה אבל אוכל טוב. ארוחת בוקר הייתה פחות מוצלחת, יכול להיות שזה בגלל שהגענו לקראת הסוף ועוד דבר שולי, יש קצת ריח של שטיחים בחדר אבל חוץ מזה הכל היה מהמם
• Stéphanie (8/5): Prachtig hotel maar nog niet hoe het zou moeten - Heel mooi en idyllisch hotel! Een dorp op zich dus een heel fijne ervaring. Echter kregen wij bericht na onze boeking dat er 2 dagen een trouw in het hotel doorging, waardoor we het zwembad en het restaurant niet konden gebruiken, alsook was er heel luide luziek tot middernacht. Ik vermoed dat hier elk weekend trouwfeesten doorgaan. Het personeel gaf ook vaak verkeerde info door; het restaurant bleek wel open te zijn de tweede avond bijvoorbeeld.

• Lison (10/5): Très bien ! - L’endroit est idyllique, la vue est a couper le souffle. L’équipement de la chambre était confortable et propre ! L’accès en voiture est cependant difficile, il vaut mieux avoir un bon véhicule.

• Ruud (9/5): Geweldig verblijf, zou zo terug gaan, maar restaurant iets aan de prijzige kant. - Geweldige plek, supermooie spa, kamer leuk versierd zoals gevraagd, ontbijt heerlijk, restaurant was ook mooi en heerlijk. Eten is top, maar is relatief duur voor Albanese begrippen en zou ik zelfs duur vinden voor Nederlandse begrippen. Uitgebreide wijnkaart, echter prijzen ver over de top.

• Bradley (9/5): Un paradis sur terre contrasté par quelques defauts de tailles. - Emplacement sublime, chambre incroyable avec vue sur mer magnifique, petit déjeuner bon, restaurant fine dining pour le dîner très bon, personnel agréable de manière générale. Belle piscine, accès au spa tout équipé (Hammam, sauna, piscine intérieure) et massage en extra agréable. Groupe musical au 2e restaurant très sympa aussi. Deux gros points négatifs selon nous : -Deux enfants d’employé venaient tous les jours à 15h à la piscine et mettaient le « bordel » (cris, monopolisent les deux matelas de piscine, s’amusent à faire des vagues, vous éclaboussent sans cesse) .. bref impossible de se reposer ou de lire entre 15h et 17h30 (heure de fermeture de la piscine) -l’hôtel est accessible par les externes/non clients, préparez vous donc à voir des gens des 8h du matin sur leur 31 pour faire des photos, quitte à vous déranger et à se coller à vous pour avoir la photo la plus « instagrammable » possible. En bref, hôtel incroyable, nous y retournerons, mais rapport qualité/prix trop élevé, et beaucoup trop de personnes qui dérangent votre tranquillité. Enfin, Les finitions dans les chambres pour un 5 étoiles sont à revoir (bouton réglage température douche manquant, traces de peintures au sol, toiles d’araignées, un peu sale etc) Deuxième restaurant moins qualificatif et un peu trop cher. Le fine dining est très bon mais comme dit sur plusieurs commentaires, peu de portion pour un prix assez élevé.

• Fatlindi (10/5): - Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, die alten Bauten sind sehr interessant, auch der Pool mit Meerblick war super. Barpersonal sowie Empfangspersonal waren freundlich und Hilfsbereit! Das einzige was mir nicht gefallen hat war der Herr, der am Abend für die Parkplätze zuständig war, war sehr unfreundlich. Er hat in einem unangemessenen Ton mit mir gesprochen, mich angeschrieen und wollte mich 150m weiter vom Hotel parkieren lassen obwohl ich ein Zimmer gebucht hatte. Ein solcher Umgang mit den Hotelgästen oder auch Restaurantgästen ist unakzeptabel. Dieser Mitarbeiter schreckt die Gäste ab und sollte dringendst ausgewechselt werden. Die Minibar war nicht mit den Getränken ausgestatten, die aufgelistet waren.

• Emma (8/5): Great setting and beautiful outdoors. Rooms missing finesse and a few finishing touches - The hotel is stunning. It is VERY instagrammable which you tell from the clientele. The pool was pretty even if small and the spa was outstanding. The room was very spacious, it was very romantic to have a bath in the room and the products in the main bathroom were of a high quality. The decor within the “living area” was modern and stylish. We were also given a beautiful welcome decoration on the bed which was a very very kind gesture. The view from the room out onto the water and with the sunset in the background was phenomenal. The room felt like it hadn’t been finished or like they hadn’t taken the time to make finishing touches. In the wardrobe, the wood had red graffiti on it, likely from when it was cut but a lick of paint wouldn’t have done any harm. The joints in the floor were scuffed and not finished and the shower leaked through into the bathroom floor even on a low setting. This was advertised as having a balcony but it was more like a fire escape and there were no tables nor chairs - so I borrowed some from outside to give us some furniture.

• irem (10/5): - Otel çok güzel bir görüntüye sahip. Odalar temiz ve güzel. Yemekler lezzetli. Bölgenin en güzel oteli diyebilirim. Tek sevmediğim şey, bir gün havuz başında güneşleniyorduk, otoparkta çalışan bir personel geldi havuza atladı, bir güzel yüzdü, serinledi ve çıktı gitti 😂 daha önce hiçbir otelde çalışanların serinlemek için suya girdiğini görmemiştim. Bu durum bize çok ciddiyetsizce geldi.

• Lucy (6/5): Disappointing - It really is a breathtaking hotel from the moment you walk in, it’s just unfortunate they’re more focused on external patrons visiting for dinner than their own paying hotel guests. Our room was directly across from a courtyard that played loud music until midnight. The website repeatedly refers to Zoe Hora as a “retreat” and a “blend of tradition and relaxation.” In reality, our stay was the opposite. The hotel appeared to prioritise creating a party atmosphere for dining patrons over the comfort of paying hotel guests. They also advertise a gym, yoga room, and Pilates room on their website - none of these exist.

• ADRIANA (10/5): Amazing stay with free room upgrade - I had an amazing stay in this wonderful place . The staff was super nice and very friendly and they gave us a free Upgrade for the Suite which was so amazing . The room was big , nicely decorated and very clean . Everything was so nice , restaurant has an amazing atmosphere and the food was really good . Thank you for everything and I hope to be back soon !
