• Teeples (10/5): HOSPITALITY AND COMMUNITY AT ITS FINEST - If you are coming to LuXoR, look no further. This is it. The experience we had from start to finish was amazing. If you need to get from another town to the house, message Omar and he can help at the most fair price for everyone involved. He helped so much as our driver was lost and our GPS wouldn't load. A quick call and he had us set. He helped us get dinner delivered after a long day of travel with little kids and our kids have adopted him as family. We loved the house. The pool is so well taken care of and we had the best night swim after a long day in the heat. The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots and pans and even a blender which has been rare in our travel. (Yay fresh fruit smoothies) The beds were comfortable, the yard was stunning, the hot water plenty and the space is HUGE for spreading out a bit. Well beyond just a great home, Omar helped us hire a car for 2 days, helped us around luxor, introduced us to friends and made it truly an unforgettable experience of true egyptian culture. They knew the best routes, the best food, the best way to explore and had amazing advice. Everywhere we went being "Omar's friends" we got exceptional service. He helped us get a hot air balloon ride on short notice, ferries across the nile, horse carriage ride on the East bank... I could go on and on. Everything was clear and honest. Don't waste your time with a big company, just get to Luxor and let Omar and his network take care of the rest. You can tell the sense of community in the west Bank is important to everyone around We were welcomed by all the neighbors, invited to share meals with locals and loved seeing all the farming done just outside the gates of the house. I can't say enough good about our stay. Please go support such a wonderful man in a great community. I didn't like leaving as this felt like home so quickly
