• Bilyana (1/5): The stay was not pleasant. I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it. - There wasn't a breakfast option. The location is very good. This is the only good thing about this place. The room was much smaller than it was written in Booking.com. The bathroom smells terrible from the drain. The sink was clogged The towels are worn out and look unhygienic. The room wasn't enough clean. There is no insulation and you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms.

• Otto (2/5): Avoid. - The only positive this about the hotel is that the inn is located pretty convenient close to bus and tram station or a 15 minute walk to galata bridge. nothing else i could see worth mentioning as positive for this stay. first night was spent at 14 C in the room as the radiator was broken, the AC was a joke and would barely reach 17C in the room after running the entire night. for the next nights we were moved to another room (204) then to another last room (104). i understood it was ramadan (and no technician to be found), but this is an establishment that welcomes everyone not just muslim. and from my understanding the issue was present for a longer time. photos are from room 102 (no heating) and 104 (ripped of balcony where there was a wooden beam supporting the balcony of room 204, no joking) this is absolutely a danger as parts might collape (god knows when) apart from that i forgot some expensive binoculars in one of the rooms (in 4 nights, stayed in 3 rooms), which were nowhere to be found anymore :) thanks booking.com for the 15 euro voucher, that's how you do business with a long time customer

• Maira (9/5): В следующий раз буду бронировать номер побольше, не стандартный. Вдвоем очень тесно. Замечательно провели 3 дня! - Отличное расположение возле Галатапорта, рядом трамвайная остановка. Бронировала, чтобы спокойно добраться до круизного лайнера. Очень тихо в номере, очень чисто, убирают каждый день. Вход через код, можно в любое время возвращаться, не потревожив персонал. Кстати, в номер заселили раньше положенного времени, он был готов к нашему заезду. Это прям жирный плюс! Отсутствие лифта (не критично, жили на втором этаже). Сложно с чемоданом по узкой лестнице

• Vedrana (9/5): Central little gem - The location is top notch. Central, right next to the ocean, close to the tram station, restaurant, bars, clubs on the doorstep. Absolutely loved it. The owner is also very friendly, helpful and respectful. The rooms are really small. It’s ok for a short stopover but if you’re planning to stay for a week or so, it might get a bit tight.

Otelin sahibi inanılmaz nazik ve yardımseverdi, her an ulaşabiliyorduk. Tüm personel güler yüzlü ve yardım etmeye hazırdı. Hiçbir sorun yaşamadık, her şey çok sorunsuz ilerledi. Kesinlikle tekrar gelmeyi düşünüyoruz ve burayı arkadaşlarımıza gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ediyoruz.

The room was not cleaned properly during my entire stay – no fresh towels, no change of bed linen, and there were hairs and dirt clearly left from previous guests. The noise level was unbearable and it was very hard to get any proper sleep. When we arrived (with full payment made two weeks earlier), they told us there was no available room and tried to move us to another hotel. Only after my turkish friend came and insisted, we were suddenly given a room in the hotel I originally booked and paid for. On the last day, they moved me to a different room...

• Melisa (5/5): Nachdem ich das Zimmer nur zum übernachten verwendet habe und den gesamten Tag unterwegs war, war es ausreichend. Die La - Die Lage dieses Hotels ist sehr gut - man ist sehr zentral in Karaköy, neben dem Galataport! Das Personal ist nett und für Fragen oder Hilfe immer ansprechbar. Es ähnelt mehr einem Airbnb oder Apartment als einem Hotel. Ich hatte ein Zimmer für zwei Personen gebucht, aber in diesem Zimmer hätte aufgrund der Größe des Zimmers zwei Personen nicht recht viel Platz. Auch die Hygiene ist etwas zu bemängeln - in der Dusche war Schimmel und dementsprechend roch es auch. Generell im Zimmer gab es einen sehr eigenartigen Geruch. Wenn man das Fenster aufmacht, dann ist es mit einer nicht so schönen Aussicht - vor dem Fenster sind Lüftungsanlagen mit Kunstpflanzen. Also viel frische Luft kommt nicht ins Zimmer rein.
• Greg (9/5): Great place and would stay there again - The host were so helpful. I called them from the cab from the airport and they even walked over to where the taxi's drop off so we would find the place easy. They even took our bags up to the room on the 2nd floor which was very nice. Nice room and I loved that it was on the main street with all the restaraunts and bars. Keep in mind that it is on the very busy street so if you need absolue quiet room I would look elsewhere but it was great for us and we slept well!! Also this room is close to the Metro and just a few blocks from the Ferry Port. GREAT LOCATION

Camere cam mici, televizor foarte mare (asta e bine) dar nu am putut viziona nici măcar canalele lor TV, la Netflix am reușit să ne conectăm cu parola noastră. Dacă nu aveam noi parolă televizorul era inutil, dar mare și frumos 😂

Despite being in such a vibrant area, the apartment was perfectly quiet, which made for a very relaxing stay. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, always available for anything we needed. There’s also a tram stop just a short walk away, which made getting around Istanbul very easy. Highly recommended!

• Sheron (4/5): Disappointing - The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from Galata Tower and surrounded by many shops, restaurants and public transport. The room was small but clean, with a TV and all the basics I needed. It’s a convenient and strategic spot for exploring Istanbul. However, I had a very disappointing experience with their laundry service. I asked if they could do laundry, and the staff told me it would be 150 TL. I showed him two small bags of regular clothes—just casual wear like t-shirts and underwear. He agreed to the service and mentioned the price, but never explained that it was dry cleaning or that the price was per item. Later, I was told the clothes were dry cleaned, and I was charged 2550 TL for 17 pieces. This was never clearly communicated or agreed upon. Honestly, if I had wanted dry cleaning, I wouldn’t have booked a budget hotel. I simply needed a basic wash-and-fold service, and felt misled. While the location and room were fine, this experience left me frustrated and unhappy. If you stay here, be very careful with any extra services—make sure you get all the details clearly explained or in writing. Otherwise, it's easy to be caught off guard like I was.

• Arlind (9/5): Great modern & cozy boutique hotel for short stays/visits - Great Location, access to metro and bus 50m, 300m boat access. Warm welcoming staff, Water, Coffee & tea in room, kettle, spacious room approx.25-28m2, comfy bed, there were 2 armchairs and a little sofa too, wardrobe, big bathroom, clean towels. Warm room (central heating), AC, new furniture, minibar. Mini-market shop, restaurants, caffe shops, bars in near vicinity. I was just a night there so it satisfied my expectations, worth the price. No lift you must use stairs. I stayed at room 204, no cable TV (only youtube, netflix and alike smart TV apps, unpleasant pillows (too low), sink was blocked in bathroom (maybe they repaired), a bit dusty furniture textile, no room view.

• Ekaterina (6/5): Pleasant - The location is excellent if you want to explore the city, 5-ish mins walk to Galata bridge. Also safe. There are a lot of cafes right next door where you can eat. The room was clean and big enough for one person. Everything you need for a 1-2 night stay. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. There is no reception actually, it's just the rooms above the shop. I didn't expect that, and this information was not visible in the 'hotel' description. The area is quite noisy, with many restaurants and discos, so the music was loud by 2-3 am. There is no elevator in the building.

• Yoshiya (8/5): Great stay. Value for money. - The location is great. 2min walk fron T1 Tram stop Tophane. From the airport, you need to change a few times. This connection unfortunately doesn't appear on Google maps: Istanbul Airport M11 to Gayrettepe> M2 to Taksim Square> F1 Cable car to Kabataş> T1 Tram to Tophane. If you do it once, it's very easy. From Tophane it is really easy to get to many of the attractions. The room was very clean. Just at the entrance of one of the main restaurant streets in the area. I am a smoker, and they kindly secured a room for me with a balcony. The check-in was a bit unexpected as I didn't have the information on my way. There is a sign but you have to get your key from the boutique downstairs. Luckily, there was someone who immediately came to tell me when I was cluelessly standing in front of place. The shower works great but the shower could use a bit of maintenance.

• Bpai (9/5): Perfectly clean, new and well designed, but with caveats - Spotlessly clean, new fixtures, comfortable bed, large TV, new and good A/C. Nice lighting, well-thought out, functional design, makes a difference in a small room. Spotless bathroom, new towels. Everything looked and worked great. Rare for Istanbul in this price range. Fantastic location, a pedestrian street and plenty of cafes and food places right outside the door. Mimar Sinan's 16th century mosque 100m away. A tram station (Tophane) is nearby, but it's also possible to walk to the boats and most key attractions. Despite being in the middle of a lively and busy area, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, no outside noises. Zero natural light in some of the rooms. The staff let me switch rooms at no extra cost, so that's a plus, but if the place is full, you might be stuck. Could be a deal breaker, especially for a longer stay. The new room had daylight, but no view at all, with another building close to the window (which is fine, but needs a mention). Bathroom often had a strong chlorine and maybe sewage smell. Not a cleanliness issue (it's perfectly clean), just an old building. The door is good, so the smell stays in the bathroom, does not go to the main room. Did not bother me much. There's some noise from other rooms, but acceptable, as expected for the price. With bad luck and noisy neighbors, this could be an issue. No lobby, check in is in a clothing shop next door. Not a negative, just unexpected.

• Kar (9/5): Short and comfortable stay - Mr Ishak was very friendly and helpful. The room was larger than I expected and the hotel is located in a lively alley. Modern museum and tramway is just a few minutes walk away. Its also more easily accessible as its on a flat land while Galata tower area is at a very steep slope. If i had to say something, maybe the leveling in the shower area might need a bit of touch up as water couldnt flow properly to the drainage. Everything else was great.
