• Philip (9/5): I had a great sleep and will go again The next time I go to Toronto. - Didn’t have breakfast. I wasn’t aware that it was an option. It was very basic and clean and all that I wanted. The bed was comfortable and the shared washroom was right outside the door of my room. Angelina was incredibly helpful. I have mobility issues and she carried my backpack down to the basement for me to my room and when I came up the steep staircase, she popped out immediately at the top and offered to help. With the help of my GPS, I had no difficulty finding Her house. I didn’t expect anything to be better. For $90 in close proximity to the airport, this place is a steal.
• Ma teolita (7/5): good stay to rest - property is so clean and spacious room. we arrived late around 9pm and I gave noticed about it. upon arrival we felt a bit hesitant because of the staff gesture of unwelcome. anyways we don't really mind it, since we are so tired and have early morning appointment on the next day. infairness after we have checked in she asked if we need water or anything else.

• Lee (9/5): Great value and close to public transit! - House is located close to a Subway station (10-15 minutes). Room is very comfortable and security is pretty good with password-operated front door. Host was responsive and easy to reach. The price was amazing for what you get. This is just a personal preference but a thicker and heavier blanket would have been nice. I prefer the warmth and comfort of a thicker and heavier one.
• Sophie (8/5): Bel accueil! - L’hospitalité d’Angelina est exceptionnelle. C’était très propre et nous avons apprécié la possibilité de se stationner et d’utiliser la laveuse et sécheuse. Une petite lampe à côté du lit sera agréable. Les draps en synthétique rendait ça plus chaud pour dormir donc moins confortable.
• Renée-Anne (9/5): Exactly what i needed - It was clean. The hostess was welcoming. Offered me bottled water on arrival. The house is within walking distance of the metro. The bed was comfortable. I have nothing negative to say except that it's not soundproof. You'll hear the one in the next room if he coughs, for example.
• Anna (5/5): - Angelina is a very friendly person. There was no problem to wash our clothes and to get cold water. The wifi was good and a place was clean. The location is good - nearby you can catch the TTC line 1 to the downtown. But it's a basement and you are not a rat. It's dangerous for human taller then 1.70m. You have to watch your forhead everytime you cross the door. My husband is 1.90 and he couldn't straighten up - even inside the room. The window is so small and under the groudfloor that there was no fresh air.

• Jenni (9/5): Superb - Modest Room in basement, but everything is exceptionally clean and tidy, the bed linen and towels super fresh. Angelina is a wonderful host with warm heart and gives effort that you really feel welcome. Basement is cool and dark and perfect for sleeping in the Hot summer nights. Not for tall People! Roof height is very good for 170cm People but if you are 190cm, it would be too uncomfortable.
• Adewale (2/5): Angelina needs to upgrade her facility to be a home. A big mismatch from the description. - The location is good as it is close to downtown. However the apartment looks like the least cared apartment in the neighbourhood. An overhaul is necessary on teh apartment. Does not look appealing from outside. The facility was very poor and creepy. The doors were really old. The blinds were traditional and there was a door from one of the rooms linking to the backyard. It was really creepy as she instructed that it shouldnt be locked from inside making us to be afraid and wondering if someone could come in from behind when you were sleeping. Very poor amanities, as it is just a fridge on a long table and a small couch in the room. The rooms were apart, so we could not sleep we had to stay together as a family, with our daughter. We checked out the next day, forfeiting 2 nights, fully knowing we could not get a refund.

• Iantchev (10/5): Will return again if it happens to visit Toronto in the future. - Located in quiet residential area. The room was specious and very clean. The internet was fast. The bathroom facilities were very clean and maintained on daily bases. The host maintain the place very clean. The host was incredible, very polite and inquiring if I need anything. My flight arrived later than the posted check in time, but the host told me not to worry about, and accommodated my late arrival.

• Giho (1/5): Never book a very bad accommodation. It's a complete scam. - Water doesn't come out well, and there are no cooking facilities such as ovens for simple cooking I felt so bad that I wanted to request damages from Booking. It was not an accommodation, but a room like a barn, and there was no escape route in the event of a fire because the underground parking lot and warehouse were converted into rooms. It is recommended that these accommodations should be canceled immediately.

• Paul (5/5): It was okay for 2 nights - Angelina was mostly friendly, although communication was a bit difficult at times. Everything was clean. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm, we arrived 5 minutes after 3. No one was there and no one answered the phone. We had to wait until 3:30 when she arrived and unapologetically let us in. The rooms are in the cellar and the ceiling is only around 1.80-1.90m high.
• James (6/5): Pleasant - An affordable place in a decent location. The rooms themselves are small basement rooms with a separate shared bathroom. There is little light and ventilation. The ceilings are very low. The mattress was rock hard.

Bed was comfortable. Close to transit and value for money in an expensive city like Toronto. Thanks Angelina Having a microwave will be helpful, otherwise everything was perfect.

• Derek (9/5): A great little place to stay in the heart of Toronto - Angelina was a wonderful host. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Probably one of the most affordable options near downtown Toronto. A little cramped for larger patrons, very low ceilings in the basement.

The room and bathroom was extremely clean and was down steep stairs but had excellent bannisters. The room was Spartan but for value more than fair. I would like them to consider adding a keurig coffee maker with free coffee for those mornings you need a Quick pick up.l
• Yevheniia (10/5): Cheep and simple- as you need as a tourist - Tiny room but you don’t need more when you’re came to Toronto for couple days. Owner is super nice and friendly. Busses and subway is about 10 minutes on foot . Well, if you tall (like more than 175) - it will be interesting experience 😆

• Justin (8/5): It's been good - Its quite clean, There aren't any bugs or mice that I've seen over the month. The lady that runs it is great, she is really nice. The neighborhood is quiet as well, which is nice. It's not too bad in terms of public transit It's unfortunate, because they can't do much about this: the ceilings are pretty low. If you are 6'3 or more the basement would be far too low for you to really be comfortable. I'm 6' & have to be careful putting clothes on, that I don't elbow the roof.
