Little did I know in fine print that you had to pay a hourly fee to use the pool or the hot tub, and if you wanted to use it you’d have to give them 3 days notice

Also the hot tub was 30.00 extra for use which I thought should have been stated in the rental. We also came home one day to see there was evidence someone was in our room.

• Jennifer (1/5): Accommodation in Delta - We didn't end up staying, there was an awful sewer like smell in the unit. It was very loud upstairs. There were noises coming from different rooms. And the pictures are misleading, it's not near as nice as the pictures make it look. And also extra charges to use the pool and hot tub. I would not recommend this accommodation.

I booked this resort style home just because it has a private pool and hot tub but when we checked the pool, there were so many bugs in the pool and it was not cleaned. So if that is also under facilities they should clean up if they know we have booked for that specific date. We didn't use the pool and hot tub because of that issue.

• lauren (1/5): Dirty, and found large rodents inside room - Easy to check in This place was awful. The bed was dirty and the mattress stained, and the in room “kitchen” (although it barely qualifies as a kitchen at all) was falling apart. Bust worst of all, our room was full of rats! We saw two very large ones in our bathroom and outside our door, and could hear many more of them crawling around in the cupboard in our room all night long. We actually left the property and had to get a super expensive hotel last minute, because we couldn’t sleep there, being so grossed out with the rodents. We contacted the host to ask for our money back because the property was so much worse than we were expecting, and we explained that there were tons of rats in the room and that needs to be taken care of, but we were ignored. Absolutely disgusting rental! Would not recommend.

Well.. the floor wasn't straight which means, was weird to sleep.. And I was expecting more room instead "basement room" :( Cleanness on the outside wasn't good especially around the trashcan and on the street.

MIt was very dissappointing y grand daughter was really upset s - The main reason we booked this property was for the swimming pool for our 4 yr old grand daughter. We were visiting the zoo a 45 minutes drive away but liked the fact it had a pool and hot tub. It was terrible so bad we stayed only 1 night not the 2 nights we booked and only because it was too late to go elsewhere else as my grand daughter goes to bed at 7pm. After 9pm someone was in the garden next to her window shouting to someone on the balcony above. The pool was not clean so couldn’t use it the pool area was dirty we couldn’t sit on any of the chairs they were so dirty. The wood decking was shabby grand daughter got a splinter from the decking just walking around. She was so excited about our trip all based on playing in the pool so she was really upset she couldn’t use the pool. There was a big black rat trap on the walk towards the pool which immediately sparked my grand daughter’s interest and ran towards it. The bed mattress was so badly stained I used the towels to sleep on. It was disgusting. The bed sheets had black bobbles on them they were so old and worn. We booked a place with a full kitchen to cook for ourselves. The oven door was hanging off on one side when I opened the door. There was 3 of us staying there and it only had 2 bowls 2 knives and plastic eating spoons. So we went out to eat. The blinds were snapped and broken in the bedroom. The walls looked like they had been repaired and dabbed with paint. Really shabby. I have photos of all these things. Very disappointing. We booked a nice hotel with a pool for our second night.

Pictures show nice. $30/hr by appointment only to use the hot tub, which is not clearly stated in the write up. When I voiced my disappointment to the host, he/she told me I could not read and I'm ignorant. I asked for a refund as I was mislead, he/she refused and told me to contact booking.com, I did that and they couldn't help me either. He ended up with my money and I did not stay there. Why would I stay somewhere that the host is soo rude and unaccomadating? I would've settled with the bogus hot tub fees waived, that wasn't even offered. BAD FIRST EXPERIENCE RENTING A SUITE IN A HOUSE!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved having free Netflix and Prime and perfect for a cozy night in. The hot tub was amazing, and I didnt mind the extra charge since it was well-maintained and private. The bathroom was stylish, and the bidet was a nice luxury touch. The only thing was that the ceiling was a little low, but it wasnt a big deal. Overall, this place was an absolute steal for the price! Cleanliness in the backyard but I don’t blame them as it’s the weather. I’m sure in summers it must be amazing.

Even Uber Eats delivered my alcohol in under 30 minutes! The property was peaceful, with a stunning pool view from my window. I was lucky to witness snowfall in February, and the backyard looked magical with the pool lights and hot tub. The bed was super comfy, and I appreciated the free Netflix and Prime. Plus, the bathroom had a bidet seriously 😅which hotel offers that? 100% value for money! Nothing

• Myers (4/5): Be careful of where you stay. - The bed was comfortable, and the location was pleasant. They also had a bidet, which was interesting and more effective than toilet paper. The terrace patio had spots where the wood was clearly rotten. I was walking on the terrace and heard the floor crack underneath me! In addition, the exterior area was poorly designed. It felt like there was a bunch of random stuff in the yard. There was a basketball hoop nailed to a tree with a flower pot and trashcan beneath it. The floor in the suite I stayed in wasn't level. I set a round object down, and it began to roll to one side of the room. Also, shortly after arrival, I sat in a chair, the chair broke as I put weight on it, and I fell back into the fridge. When I informed the property manager about this incident, asking for a partial refund because I hadn't been there an hour and had this happen, they told me they couldn't do it because they had to reinvest and buy a new chair, trying to make it seem like it was my fault, telling me that I could still stay there! The set looked to be from IKEA and still had the number stickers on it. All I did was want to sit down after a 3 hour drive. No equipment was used aggressively or improperly, I pulled the chair out, tried to sit down, and then the next thing I knew, I was falling into a fridge.
• Hail (2/5): Just A house with hot tub and dirty pool. Deceiving descriptions. - Pictures online, very deceiving. Nothing to like. Was told things that weren’t in actually in the accommodation. Told pool was open and can be used, it’s not heated. And seems hasn’t been clean for a while. They could have just said, the pool is closed. Scent in the room was too strong. Hoy tub too strong chemical scent. Never use! You don’t know if they used proper cleaning chemicals or had professional personnel to clean it. The bed wasn’t straight don’t know if it’s the floor or the bed frame. They don’t consider early check in though they will ask what time you prefer to check in. They ask $20 per pet. DO NOT book if I were you, big realization was I could have just booked a hotel even far away but this was last minute and closest to the location of the party we went to. In hotels you would be able to check in early and they usually only charge $20 up to 2 pets per day and better facilities. This is not a resort like. It’s just a house with a hot tub and dirty pool.

A clean, comfortable, and well furnished suite in a nice location to get a good night’s rest and a hot shower before my big exam. The hosts were very kind, the room had a very nice bed along with a kitchenette and a lovely bathroom. The place was nestled on a road with a cul- de- sac and parking is easy. The only problem was that at one point another guest somehow entered into my room while I was in there because I guess she was given the wrong code. This was quickly sorted out.

• Michelle (4/5): Nice host misleading advertisement - The owner is nice & the gardening is beautiful. Bed is comfortable. This is not resort style living you are in a handy man special basement below residents that are quite loud. Tried the hot tub and was not clean so just avoided the extra amenities. Kitchen was not totally stocked with bowls, plates, cutlery. There is a smell of mould and urine. Most of our time was spent out of the place cause we were not comfortable. There is a motion outdoor light that lit up the suite in the night and scared the hell out of me. Sadly I was mislead by good reviews and good pictures. There are many doors that lead into the suite which feels unsettling. Broken toilet seat holes in the drywall, there is no way to control temperature of suite that I could find. I will say the owner is kind and maybe new to vacation rentals there is potential here and loads of room for improvement.

It was very easy to get there and get access. It had a hot tub and pool. However, they were going to charge extra to use these facilities even though their post did not say that. The owners did waive this for us. The room was very small; the pictures make it look a lot bigger than it was. You could tell that it was a renovation that seemed to have been rushed through. No attention to finishing details in the bathrooms. You could hear the host family arguing upstairs late into the evening. If you are a tall person I would not recommend this room as the ceilings are extremely low (in the bathroom I could easily touch with bent arms; I'm 5.6)

• Amanda (5/5): Not for us. - We wanted somewhere close to the ferry and that allowed our dogs, so that was a bonus. The front of the home looks very nice and the owners texted clear instructions for parking and entering the room. The room doesn’t really match what was advertised. We spent over $200 including our pet fee for something that is a room in someone’s basement. The room itself was the quality and cleanliness of a roadside motel. An extra fee to use the hot tub is also a bit ridiculous. If you’re booking this for the pool, access is also restricted (we were told it was not available until after 7pm). I would recommend skipping this one.

Pillows were very old and stained and dirty. Bed headboard had disgusting Crud stuck on it and not cleaned. Cupboards had old spoiled food in it with unlabeled products and Foreign matter in them. Linens and towels were insufficient. It was so uninviting we had no choice but to go to a hotel. We would not recommend staying here at all. As explained above

We booked the deluxe queen suite, the room we were given upon arrival was not the one pictured online, there are no pictures of this room online (for obvious reasons) because nobody would pay the listed price for it. The room was much smaller and it looked like it was still being renovated, the paint was peeling, there were gaps in the cupboards, the towel rail was missing, the front door also needed to be repainted. You can't charge for a 'deluxe' room or a 'resort style living' when the room being offered looks like a student flat. Being misled, I honestly don't know how this place has good reviews. It does not look like the photos and you're staying at someone's house where they live, which would be fine but that isn't clear. We found a hairball in the bed and a stain on the sheets. After we booked, we received via SMS pictures of the actual room we would be staying in. We also had to wait outside for check in instructions, which then listed we had to book an appointment for the hot tub with no instructions how to book. I checked the hot tub, it was luke- warm and full of dirt. I called up booking.com customer service saying the room we've been given is not what we booked, they contacted the property who offered us complimentary hot tub! This was advertised as already being included! The property said they charge $50 an hour for the hot tub. Had this room been advertised accurately, we would not have booked it for the price. booking.com customer service hasn't replied to my emails about the complaint. We left and booked somewhere else we felt uncomfortable staying there. Also told we had to empty our own rubbish bins which is a bit odd for a 'deluxe suite'

Obviously hastily put together to earn money as paint and wood trim not finished. Floor transitions unfinished. Some lights did not work.. No Sound proofing as people were thumping around above us and a baby was crying which we could hear very clearly. Room was cold, not terribly clean under the bed was dirty.One of the baseboard heaters had old food and crud in it. Outside was a mess with a bunch of garbage covered with tarps. We have used booking.com extensively.And this was extremely disappointing

• Melissa (5/5): Bed comfortable but would not recommend or stay again. - Beds were comfortable, wifi was good & location was good. This property was unclean, from the toilets and showers to the bedding and hot tub. I found hair in our bed that wasn't ours....filth on the back of the toilet. The occupants upstairs were noisy, and awake late - like 4am, the cigarette smoke could be smelled in the bathroom. The hot tub was NOT clean.
• Alyshia (5/5): Passable - Outside was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. The owners were very responsive and helpful Not sound proof at all Mold in and around shower Hot tub was cold and they tried to charge extra Not enough towels Hideabed couch is falling apart Fireplace doesn't work.
• Stephaniegrace (1/5): Definitely not a resort like home. - There were numerous issues with the suite and home. 1st there are 3 separate suites/rooms they rent out downstairs. 1. Its filthy. 2. Massive leaking from raised shower base coming out from under baseboards. There is mould all behind the walls. We tried to stay the 3 nights and tough it out, but I could not last another night, due to the coughing and respiratory problems (even with the windows wide open) That’s a serious health issue. It smells bad. 3. Pool was very dirty, leaves and bugs. Looked at the hot tub and its got a smell to it so we choose not to use it. It was not a resort style living. 4. Toilet seat is broken and sliding around everywhere. 5. The dishwasher is plumbed in incorrectly. Sewer gases are going into the dishwasher as the drain is installed incorrectly. 6. There was fighting and yelling between the host and his wife the last night upstairs and the house is not sound proof at all. 7. We don’t like to write bad reviews without allowing the host to rectify the situation first but when we told him about the concerns with the issues, the host ghosted us. No response, no communication and wouldn’t even communicate to rectify any situation so here’s the review Ultimately they just do not upkeep their property and you can clearly see they try to do all the work themselves. Possibly it was nice years ago but not currently in the state it’s in. I would 100% suggest all stay at a different place. Photos added of the situation with water leaking, dirty couch cushions. I don’t get any of outside.
• Niza (1/5): Bad - I liked nothing about place. First of all,it is a huge scam and he is doing it all of it illegally by saying it is an apartment no it is a in house basement and he took 600 dollars from us which is under the table and I can provide you with proofs. Second of all,he was very disrespectful came into the accommodation with knocking or giving any headsup.

• Denisse (8/5): Very good - It was as described. The bed is very comfortable. There was central AC from the main floor and the basement was too cold. The tv from the living room never worked. We advised it was for 3 persons and only 2 Towles left, we had to reuse a wet one. The ad said it was a pool but was never told that we had to advise 3 hours previous so they could heat it up. We were never able to get in.
