Guest Reviews
- Jan (8/5): Dejlig terrasse og lejlighed. - Terasse og grill.
Ny, rummelig og lækker.
Mange gryder, tallerkener og glas.
Gode senge. Ovnen virkede ikke. Lys og gardiner er svære at finde ud af. Toiletdøre svære at lukke.
- Wojciech (4/5): Not as advertised and not inspected prior to guest arrival - To start off, we were provided with the wrong access information. We were told to enter a pin code into the digital keypad, which didn’t work. Upon phoning, we were informed that a colleague had given us the wrong instructions and that the keypad was actually disabled. Once we retrieved the key from the safety box and entered the property, we realised that the hot tub had no water in it – one of the main reasons we chose this apartment.
After a few message exchanges, we were told the tub had been emptied for cleaning and that, if we wanted, we could refill it ourselves. Bear in mind, we were only staying two nights, and refilling and heating the water would have taken us well into the next day. When I expressed my disappointment, they changed their explanation, saying it hadn’t been refilled because it was windy and they didn’t want the water to be contaminated by leaves and dust. Keep in mind, this tub has a protective cover, so they couldn’t fool me with that one.
After a few more messages, they claimed they don’t refill the tub because each guest might prefer fresh water on arrival. What a joke, I thought — especially since we own a hot tub ourselves and know that all you need to do is maintain the chemical balance. That’s only if you actually care to keep it in good order, which clearly doesn’t seem to be the case here. Everything said felt more like an excuse rather than a policy.
After the hot tub fiasco, we went to take a shower after travelling — and guess what? No hot water. Again, after more back-and-forth messages, we were finally told someone would come down to sort it out ( while waiting we found another control panel hidden away that controls the hot water ).
In the meantime, we discovered that the whole apartment’s lights, shutters, and curtains are automated. That wouldn’t normally be a problem — if everything actually worked.
- Andrew (5/5): Worst night’s sleep while traveling ever - Beautiful Penthouse Both beds were extremely uncomfortable. This is not a two bedroom unit. This is a one bedroom unit with a loft that’s only about 3 feet tall where the second bed is. Metal spring we’re poking up through the mattress, causing me to wake up many times throughout the night. My hipwas in pain every day waking up in the morning. How does a Penthouse suite that charges 300+ euros at night buy a €200 bed and think that’s acceptable? Seagulls like to perch on the top of the roof and woke us up two out of the four mornings we stayed between 4 AM and 6 AM. I could not turn off a light in the living room that also kept me up until they told me the next day the only way to do it was by literally flipping a fuse. There was no light switch for it. All of the electronics in the house for the shades and the lights are extremely complicated. Overall this was by far the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever gotten while traveling. They told me they were going to reach out 10 days later and give me a partial refund and never did. Do not book this place if you enjoy sleeping.
