Guest Reviews
- Buddha (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): A fantastic location and clean, modern home. - Lovely, clean home with everything we needed. Loved the fireplace. We would have appreciated knowing to bring extra drinking water as we ran out after a day.
- Megan (6/5): - Lay out Was very dusty and was lacking a few essentials
- Lise (9/5): Nice and open house, very relaxing and peaceful. - Very nice, open and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable and warm. Plenty of warm extra blankets too. Although the location can seem remote, it’s in fact super convenient. Right in the national park, no need to pay for the parking fees. You can leave the car at the house and start the walks from just up the gravel road, where a little path is just visible.
Also go explore in front of the house for the private beach, it’s lovely. One thing to note is that the third bedroom is not accessible from inside the house. It has a separate entrance outside.
Also the tap water is not drinkable but there was 10L in the fridge waiting for us to.
- Catherine (8/5): - Beautiful, light and airy house in a peaceful, bush setting right in the National Park and a short walk to the Trailheads.
- Jacob (8/5): Lovely spot to stay in Freycinet. - Great location, comfortable spot.
- Brett (6/5): Pleasant - The location and ease to walks The cleanliness of the unit.
Dusty, and blood on pillow slip.
- Georginan (10/5): Unique Location in a National Park - Unique location within the National Park. The design of the house is sympathetic to the setting, surrounded by casaurinas, at the foot of Mt Amos. Walking distance to the start of the Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach tracks. The house is comfortable, good heating, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of natural light. Most of the surrounding houses were empty while we were there so very quiet. Only minor quibbles. The fireplace put out a bit of smoke, particularly on windy days. Flu might need a clean. But there was also a split system for heating. The coffee machine wasn't working. The dishwasher needed to be turned off and on at the power point every time it was used (a bit strange). The tap water was not of a drinkable quality so you need to bring bottled water. The road in and out can be tricky if you meet a car coming from the other direction. If there are fewer than 4 people booked you don't get access to the downstairs sleeping area. As a couple we didn't need that space but it should be mentioned on the booking site as it is stated and the photos imply that you get full use of the entire house. None of these things would put me off coming again. It was a really beautiful spot.
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Kathryn (10/5): As above - quiet, secluded and amongst the trees - close to beautiful and remote beaches. the trees - It was beautifully quiet - close to the Wine Glass Bay track and two stunning 'private beaches'
The house was elegant and sympathetic to the environment Nil
- John (6/5): Pleasant - The house was great for our needs The house was not as cleans as we would have expected
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Larry (10/5): Relaxing and regenerative in a great place in a wonderful location. - It was spacious enough for our group. There were two bathrooms and the third bedroom was separate to the other two which was important for our group. The property is located in a quiet bushland location with opportunities for experiencing wildlife. It is also close to a small beach and very close to the starting points for the walking tracks into the national park. There is a large deck in addition to the large living area. We liked everything about the property
- Jude (10/5): Fantastic location and a creative space for enjoying it. - Location and views were fantastic. Problem with mozzies. Also should notify people before coming that the water supply is not up to health standards so they can bring some bottled water.
- Jenny (9/5): Fabulous location - Great location in Freycinet NP near enough to the tracks to not have to take the car out.
- Katharine (9/5): A lovely location close to the Wineglass Bay walks, and with a pretty little beach within an easy stroll. The house is w -
- Jennifer (7/5): An expensive home with two bedrooms and one bathroom, in need of better cleaning. - A lovely home in secluded Parsons Cove, with comfortable beds and lovely toiletries. The property is in need of maintenance and better cleaning. The oven was dirty and we had to clean the barbecue before use. The sliding door to bedroom 2 had come off the rollers and is in need of repair. Some cutlery had to be washed before use.
- Kenneth (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location, beautiful house, very comfortable beds.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Can’t recommend enough! Really comfortable holiday house in a super peaceful spot within the national park, with big windows. Excellent communication from the property management company too, providing all the necessary information and making sure everything ok after check-in. Not an issue, but the dirt road is a bit bumpy.
- Martin (7/5): Would have been exceptional if we hadn't been cold and able to use the oven - The location , the well equipped property . It would have been perfect apart from a few issues that went unresolved . Sad as we would have score 10 and said this place was exceptional. We found the response from the management company was slow and poor. Being cold . We needed the fire as very cold but sadly no fire lighters, no paper or kindling and we did not want go drive all the way out of the park to find some , we only had 2 nights .
The oven didn't work and was greasy inside anyway. The management company seemed to think that using tin foil would resolve the issue !
Auyomated communication , not helpful.
- Sophie (10/5): Had a great time will stay again for sure - Location was awsome Was all good
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
- Barbara (8/5): Very good - Quiet spot. Difficult access road.
- Alma (7/5): Woodsy retreat - Lovely 'home', spacious, light, well appointed in nice woodsy environment.
Great to have pasta & sauce in the cupboard for our first night! Plenty of wood in the woodpile for the fire! Nuisance not to have the fire set up for arrival. Clunky screen was hard to manage and no kindling in the house. (Plenty available if weather dry). No kitchen scourer! Bins outside didn't match instructions (no coloured lids). Oven wouldn't work and instructions didn't match the model provided. Beach access a little confusing (& privacy claim rather misleading).
