• Paul (6/5): Disappointing. - Good location. This place needs maintenance and/or a renovation A chair in the kitchen was broken, lights not working - intermittent power supply. Not particularly clean. Mouldy smell in the house.
• suzanne (6/5): It was ok - Location was ok. The interiors were good. The house inside was good. Outside however requires extensive work in the yard. The garden requires extensive work. Could do with out door fan.
• Xuxa (10/5): - It was a beautiful place to stay and super convenient location. Close to the beach and the country club. Was clean and tidy and perfect for our mini girls trip. Hosts were accommodating and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay here again!

• Anthony (8/5): - Location was great and perfect for us and our 2 Dachshunds. Some areas could do with a little TLC especially the yard. The rooms were comfortable and host was superb with everything during our stay.
• Simon (7/5): A comfortable cottage stay, which was reasonable value for the money. - Nice comfortable clean cottage, with a well provisioned kitchen. Good value overall. There were several non dog friendly beaches within walking distance, however Shoal bay shops, Country Club and beach were a 10 minute walk There has been no garden maintenance done for a very long time, and everything was very overgrown. Both the front and back lawns were full of weeds and thistles, and the dog was unable to walk on the lawn. The waste, garden waste and recycling bins had not been emptied for a while, and I placed them all on the street for collection when I left.

• Michelle (8/5): I think with a few tweaks it could be a great property, it’s in a good location, it was easy to communicate with the own - It was very clean and tidy, main bedroom very roomy, kitchen has everything you need The lounge needs replacing, where the leather is cracked it all comes off on your clothes and the floor, the garden near the front veranda needs trimming up, too many palm leaves, second bedroom very tiny a ceiling fan would be great rather than free standing fans, and a small bathroom,
• Kate (5/5): Passable - Location was great. Kitchen was nice and big and had everything required. Back yard and deck was quite private. The lounge shed some black stuff that got everywhere. No laundry wasn’t great for a family spending a week by the beach. Apart from main bedroom other bedrooms were quite small. Bathroom was very small. The vine tree in backyard needs to be removed if dogs are allowed at the property. The maintenance crew came and racked up grapes that drop but the next day all the grapes were back on the ground. The vine tree constantly drops grapes and it was very stressful having dogs in backyard.

• Annette (7/5): Great place for our stay, great for dogs. Really well equipped kitchen. - Nice 2 bedroom house, backyard was great for the dogs. Robot and dish washer were was great. Shoal Bay is a beautiful place The couch was really worn and old.

• Michelle (8/5): My family and I had a very relaxing and fantastic few days stay. We would absolutley return. - The property was very clean and comfortable, location was fantastic. Very well equipped kitchen and plenty of bath towels supplied. Everything you needed for a relaxing beach holiday. A little more attention to detail with bed linen/ pillows. No dryer/laundry facilities to wash/dry towels/ clothes if needed especially if staying for a few days with children. We had some wet weather and couldn't get things dry. Over all everything was great.

• Tegan (7/5): Good - The property was cute and it was a lovely stay! Our puppies came with us and enjoyed the backyard to run around in after our days at the beach The second bedroom was quite small which made it difficult staying as two couples. It was a quite expensive stay for two nights
• Sharon (7/5): Comfortable pet friendly house and a great location - The location is perfect, great spot for a small family and the backyard is secure for dogs. The main bed and the second bed are extremely comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Overall a comfortable house and would consider staying again. Attention to detail on the smaller things are needed, I have spoken to Sherri about them so hopefully for future visits they are rectified. Security of the house itself is lacking and the window locks need to be looked into. The futon bed in the 3rd room isn’t comfortable, next visit I will take a mattress for my son to sleep on instead in the room. WIFI doesn’t work, but we had enough data on our phones it didn’t matter.
• Jo (6/5): Great location but more care needed with property and wifi too weak to use - Good Location, large living space, beachy decor. good, hot shower. Property was not fully prepped. Only 2 out of 3 bedrooms made up. Asked by the host to make up the last bed ourselves. No toilet paper. Fridge was not on. BBQ was left dirty from previous guests. Not enough pillows for the beds. Ceiling light only in one bedroom (other bedrooms have an empty socket in celing and a standing lamp). Kitchen missing some key utensils for cooking and sharp knives are blunt. There is a wifi dongle but wifi connection in house is too weak, so not possible to use so either dongle or hotspot off/use your own device.
