• Alfie (4/5): Nice staff. Very noisy. Didn’t feel safe but not hotels fault - Staff very friendly. Very convenient location located close to St Pancras international There were several local drug addicts at the front of the hotel. The area was very noisy all night. The room smelt like TCP.

• erkan (1/5): disgrace - We were lucky we weren't poisoned by the musty and damp smell in the room. Our 5-year-old child had a coughing fit, and after a long argument with hotel staff, our room was changed. How can such a problematic room, posing a health risk, be rented out? The hotel is partly to blame, but booking.com is equally guilty for listing the room on their website without proper oversight; it's a scandal. Rest assured, we will exercise our legal rights if any health issues arise.

• Marzia (5/5): - The location is perfect The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny with weird water flows from the taps. At the beginning there was no water from the sink and also the shower was a mix of cold and warm water. Out of 4 sockets only 2 were working.
• Gregory (4/5): Convenient but previous reviews are justified - Location Room was clean in most places. Left our suitcases in a room that the staff said was ours, ground floor. Arrive to check in later and another staff member chucks the key to us and our cases. Top floor and no lift. Dont mind doing that but not massively helpful. Hairs all over the shower tray. But room was fairly clean apart from that.

• Geraldine (1/5): No words - Nothing Worst hotel experience ever. Accused me of defamatory statements in previous reviews. To help them: Derogatory vs. Defamatory: Derogatory remarks are critical but can be true; defamatory remarks are legally actionable untrue allegations. My comments were the former. I can evidence the truth/ honesty. Luckily my pre-bookings are all past now and I never have to deal with this hotel or people connected with it again.
• Ernie (8/5): Great location. - Hotel close to King Cross train station. Rooms not very big, but it served the purpose. Stairs to rooms. Friendly staff who assisted with carrying luggage to rooms. Located in a quiet and safe area. Expect what you pay for. I could not complain about anything.

The shared bathroom was not modern or anything but did the job. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which is what we appreciated the most. -

• Jory (4/5): - Central location and the room was serviceable. The towels had stains on. The staff did change them quickly which I did appreciate. However, when other issues arose, staff were unhelpful and uncommunicative and I had to keep chasing them.
• Geraldine (1/5): IMO - Give it a miss unless you like bed bugs - Booked but could not stay somewhere where I’ve seen an actual bed bug. They refused to refund me but I could not / would not stay. It was a non refundable booking but I think it’s fair to say the circumstance of my refund request was exceptional. They should gave been more honourable. Do not care; clearly.

• Geraldine (1/5): Didn’t stay because of bed bug sighting - Could not stay for fear of bringing bed bugs home with me as I had an encounter on previous stay and they refused to refund me. Lost the money I paid and had to stay last minute elsewhere at additional cost. Poor! Disliked everything particularly lack of care for customer wellbeing.

A noi è capitata la stanza sottoscala,pietà. Lenzuola macchiate, odore di muffa. Nessun appoggio per riporre le cose nemmeno un porta salviette. Si sente ogni passo al piano di sopra. Prezzo troppo alto. Non lo consiglio.

• David (8/5): prima locatie in een geweldige stad - prima kamer, bonus was de koelkast op de kamer, badkamer schoon en ik denk nieuw. personeel vriendelijk. locatie is top. net buiten de drukte van euston road, maar binnen 2 minuten bij de metro of trein station st pancras. ideaal. viel niet tegen, maar mistte haakjes voor de hand doeken (overigens elke dag schone). en het is best gehorig met de deuren. van mij ma het licht in de gang uit snachts, want schijn aardig onder de deur door
• de Bont (6/5): In eerste instantie teleurstellend. - De vriendelijkheid vh personeel en locatie. De grootte van de kamer voor 3 personen, 3de bed was defect en geen uitzicht.
• Celine (3/5): Non recommandė - L emplacement,non loin du métro et des bus Les heures d ouverture, il y a tj eu une personne à l acceuil La chambre était en sous sol ( pourquoi pas en Angletterre) pour y accéder il fallait descendre des escaliers où une très forte odeur de moisissures était présente. Les escaliers donnaient aussi sur une sorte de débarras avec un micro onde ( utilisé à 4:30 du matin le premier soir) pr le personnel. Une odeur désagréable dans la chambre. La fenêtre donnait sur un amas de poubelle sous l'escalier extérieur. Dans le couloir avant la chambre des déchets de travaux. Pas d insonorisation beaucoup de bruit des autres chambres et de la rue.

• Beryl (5/5): Great location and very reasonable price, pity about the broken bed! - The location was great as we were catching an early train the next morning. The double bed was fine but the single bed was broken and was very uncomfortable, if we had been staying more than one night I would have complained.
• Jason (9/5): Great stay and very close to st Pancras - Basic room for a decent price, very close to kings cross and st Pancras so cant fault it, staff were friendly, got there about 2 hours early and asked to leave my luggage but the room was ready and they let me check in without an extra fee Windows were thin so the noises outside were a bit annoying, luckily not alot happened out there to wake me up to many times but I am a light sleeper so that may also have played a part in being woken by noises.

• G.Dogan (3/5): Dissapointing and dirty. - No breakfast Beds were too tiny for two people, drain in the shower wasn't good so the floor was full of water, I didn't feel cleaned after shower. Rooms were too tiny we can't even move freely. The curtain fall rigth into my head and I get hurt from the metal part of the curtain.

• Geraldine (1/5): I FOUND A BED BUG IN ROOM 7 - It would have been perfect bar the "What I didn't like" section. There's a lot going for this little place which is brilliant value, confortable and located excellently. But the uninvited and unwanted bed room guests change all of that. In my opinion, the hotel didn't deal well with this and have refused to refund my multiple other bookings. The bed bug discovery in Room 7. But they do travel and spread, according to my research.

Petite chambre et salle se bain très exiguë. Pas de place pour les affaires. Froid dans la chambre car le chauffage n'est mis que très peu.
• Geraldine (1/5): Nightmare - Good shower pressure. Changed my room - from terrible experience to just bad. It was also an “upgrade”. Drinking Water in room - but no date. How old? Terrible experience. More detail coming in my second stay review, with photos re room 7. Would not have come back only had pre-booked and promises were made about action that would be taken re room 7. Stayed in room 4 this time because they had to change me out of room 7 because of a serious issue about which I’ll detail more in my second stay review. The bed in room 4 was rock hard, dark hairs everywhere inc in bed: not mine. Switched radiators on for about 2 hours the first evening then not at all. Freezing. Promised one night refund: never happened. This hotel has caused me a lot of distress. Not least accidentally cancelling all my bookings and telling me to ask booking.com for refunds. Then they confirmed them again. They were hacked apparently. Can’t even trust that your booking will be honoured here as they made the hacking “my problem”. Staff attitude variable with some being nice, others very offhand. Can’t wait for the excuses they’ll reply with.

Promised a refund for one night because the issues was BAAAD. . Did not honour. Fact that I’d booked several nights and they’d not allow refunds despite seriousness of the issue I found.

Podłoga w prysznicu poplamiona. Odpływ w prysznicu kompletnie zatkany. Regulowanie temperatury wody do niczego - raz wrzątek, raz lód. Temperatura normalna przez 15 sekund. Bardzo mały zlew. Stare i poplamione meble.

• Luke (7/5): Good value for money - Check in was very smooth and quick, staff were pleasant. Location excellent a stones throw from kings cross station. Ample coffee/tea making facilities in room. All in all this has to receive 7/10 even with a few drawbacks as it is good value for the area, and we will bear this option in mind if we need a room again, this place worked fine for us for a bed to rest in after a gig at Wembley arena Bed mattress and pillows were not very comfortable, the missus complained of being a bit cold during the night, the TV malfunctioned and we couldn't get signal, the bathroom was very small however the shower was excellent.

• Ani (9/5): When you just need a place to sleep with good location, book this! - Great location! All transportation close, also a 24hrs bus 390. Comfortable bed. Possibility to keep suitcases in the reception after check out. Sink is supertiny. No towel hooks in the bathroom. Why? Also you have to keep your toiletries on the floor as there is no shelf of anykind. Not practical. No jacket hooks near the door. No tables, shelves to keep your stuff. Stairs are very narrow and steep, so be prepared for some work out climbing up 🙂
• Gillian (8/5): Fine for one night and close to King's Cross and St Pancras. - It's handy for St Pancras station. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. For less than £70 in London it was very good. Fine for one night if you don't want to spend too much. Our room was in the basement and there was clutter lying around,such as paint pots etc. It also smelt damp,although our room didn't. When we left, the receptionist was praying in reception and just ignored us! It was not the appropriate place for it and we felt uncomfortable.

• Sue (1/5): Will not go back - Walking distance to Kings Cross Extremely noisy (on cannabis?) people in adjoining room. Shouting out to people on the street all night and in and out slamming doors from 10pm till 5am. Very scary. No sleep at all.
• Luke (2/5): Within 30 minutes of walking through the door and getting to the room, wanted to leave and regretted booking it. Wasn’t - It was in an okay location, felt like it could be safe and they gave us a key for the front door so we could return anytime in the night. The first thing I didn’t like about the property was the smell when we walked in, it smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly, And the same smell hit us as soon as we stepped into the room. The second reason is that when I flipped over the duvet there were 2 brown stains on it so we flipped the duvet and slept with the other end ( don’t have photos of the stains though) but finding this it put us off immediately. The third thing was we kept finding little bugs flying around in the room and in the bathroom unsure what they are we killed them and tried to ignore it but in the morning we found more in the bathroom so we packed and go out of there as quickly as possible. The forth thing is it looked like the shower floor was cracked ( didn’t touch it just in case is was) but totally unsatisfied with the bathroom it was so small you could barely even fit in it. Another thing about the bathroom was that there was mould in the bathroom and it made it look so dirty and really unclean. The last thing is the walls had marks on them once again like it hadn’t been cleaned properly, after spending so much money just for one night we’d have expected a much cleaner room but we were left unsatisfied with our stay and won’t be booking again and one night was enough to endure all of the uncleanliness and vile smell.
