- veronique (10/5): Un petit paradis !
Rien
- Tiare (10/5): Gorgeous, relaxing and delicious! - Absolutely loved that there is no electricity in the bungalows and wifi only in the reception area. Such kind and helpful staff, great food and the location couldn’t be better!

- Lars (4/5): Beautiful place, great vibe, friendly staff - unfortunately got food poisoned - The location and vibe is amazing - perfect if you're looking for a beautiful beach bungalow to disconnect. The hotel is also used for weddings, and the grounds are beautiful. You can have breakfast and lunch on the beach, and dinner under a large and beautifully lit tree. Unfortunately, we woke up with food poisoning on our third morning there. We had all of our meals at El Matuy, so we can be certain it was the source. Two days of being sick and not keeping in food - big disappointment.

- Eva (10/5): I am very grateful that this place exist. - Fantastic location on the beach. Beautiful bungalows. Delicious food. No electric light, but candles, good for the soul;) (there is wifi and chargestation for mobiles at the reception). Very calm and serene.
- Amanda (7/5): Cute and comfortable cabins for an off-grid experience. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my reaseach and never knew there was -
- Alfred (7/5): Good - location location location!!! eventually I think, they will need to install electricity in order to be competitive. it could benefit from maintenance.
- Carole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (2/5): Very poor - We left the property and did not stay for the following reasons. 1) when we arrived, we were taken to a room that was not set up for 3 people. 1 of the beds did not have a mosquito net above it and 1 of the beds was alone on a second floor. We were then taken to another room. The room was dirty and had not been cleaned. So we were taken to a final room which we thought would work. 2) when we arrived we requested massages, after having to go back and forth to rooms we decided not to get a massage. We tried to cancel but the receptionist at the front desk was gone and could not be found to cancel 20 minutes after our arrival. 3) when we returned from dinner in town men as well as two females smoking cigarettes surrounded us asking about the massages. We said no thank you no massages, but they continued to surround us and try to get us to get a massage. It was uncomfortable and we could tell they were upset that we were not getting massages. It was also in the dark of night, with 3 female travelers surrounded by strangers. We did not feel comfortable to stay and we left and stayed at another lodge in town. Hoping others do not have this experience, but sharing ours in case it helps!
- Flor (6/5): It was ok. Something different but not sure I would recommend it or go there again. - The concept of the candles is nice and the rooms are clean. The receptionist was very friendly. They do not provide drinks during the day. At the beach side there was a house which can provide something but they did not have enough and sometimes there was nobody there.
If you want to eat there, they charge 40.000 COP per meal, but you cannot choose the meal and it was very little food. If I do not eat much, its ok, but my father was left hungry after dinner. Repeat any dish or side dish is not possible because they cook very little. Better to go for food to other restaurants around.
- Sarah (10/5): tropical paradise, not to be missed! - the candle light is charming and romantic, and the food is spectacular. not the fault of the property, but at this time, on google maps, the road you take to get there doesn’t connect with the main road, be sure to look for the Matuy sign!
- David (6/5): Pleasant - staff were very helpful no electricity I understood BUT candles should have been provided without my having to ask for them repeatedly and no matches were provided.
Food ok not exceptional
- Mattia (9/5): Superb -
- Jose (9/5): Superb -
- Gregorib (10/5): Unplug from the world - Location is awesome. Cabins are old, but that is the looks. No electricity, fine! Staff is kind and eager to help! We will return no doubts about it!
