- Dominic (10/5): Excellent b&b in great location in north Vancouver. Really nice staff. Highly recommend -

- Laura (8/5): A warm, welcoming stay with stunning views and a host who truly goes above and beyond. - I loved my stay at this charming bed & breakfast—waking up to sweeping views of Vancouver from the balconies was unforgettable. Margaret is the perfect host; even though I arrived late, she welcomed me with homemade chicken soup and wine, and the next morning’s breakfast was absolutely delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t stay longer! Everything about the experience made me wish I had booked more nights.
- Keivan (9/5): Beautiful and different experience! - Cozy and comfortable rooms in a great location, with an excellent breakfast. Margaret goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Definitely worth it—far better value and experience than big corporate hotel chains
- nami (10/5): It was a very pleasant stay and host is amazing 🤩 - Convenient and lovely host! Nothing

- Oscar (10/5): Amazing stay would come back anytime I’m in town - Amazing host and very comfortable rooms NA
Danke, Margaret!
- Monika (9/5): Cozy stay with an interesting view from a lovely balcony. - What a nice, quaint house in an interesting neighborhood. It is nicely private nestled behind a hedge, but on a hill, so from the balcony there is a fabulous view of Vancouver and the harbour. Loved the palm tree, that was a special touch. Comfortable beds, nice big bathroom and a pretty big mini fridge. Nothing really, it is all fine as described. There are stairs outside, naturally as it is on a hill, and inside of course, but we were ok with that.

- Steffen Dahmer (8/5): -
- Yauhen (8/5): - Margaret is a very welcoming host. Great location. Spotty Internet connection on the 2nd floor.
- Catherine Marcia (8/5): We totally enjoyed our stay - Location! Quiet street lots of paths . Our room was big and comfortable
Torneremo a trovarla sicuramente!
- Rhonda (6/5): Disappointing - Since our flight was late getting in, she gave up the cottage that we have booked and paid for. She offered to put us in two separate rooms. But we’re brothers and we went on the vacation together this time with family in Vancouver.
- Viktor (9/5): - clean room, homey atmosphere quite pricey but hey that's vancouver for you
- Odinamadu (9/5): Good lady with her dog jazz - Very nice Nothing
- Julie (7/5): Good location if you are fit and able. Lots of steps. - The quality of the breakfast was fine. It was served later than we would have liked and choices were limited.
- Malinda (10/5): Perfect for everything I needed! - Margaret was an exceptional host. Breakfast was wonderful and Margaret was very attentive. Using the large tub was awesome after walking a lot.
The location was convenient for being close to family and accomplishing the walking I planned to do.
The view from my room/balcony was enjoyable as I saw ships coming and going.
I’d rate my experience a 10 out of 10. 😊❤️
- Carole (9/5): Overall I had a wonderful stay. - Margaret was a lovely host. She made her guests feel at home and she was very helpful to guests who were first time travelers to Vancouver. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. N/A
- Allison (9/5): Superb -
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chikako (10/5): Exceptional - The host, Margaret, had a wonderful personality. We was able to spend my stay comfortably. The location was also excellent. I would like to use it again.
- Jessica (10/5): Fantastic stay and amazing host in convenient location. - Margaret was a friendly and considerate host who was happy to chat and answer any questions we asked and made our stay really enjoyable. Jaz the dog was super friendly. The room was clean and welcoming with plenty of room. Breakfast was fantastic. The B&B was a short easy walk to the pier and restaurants. Nothing
- Adam (10/5): Would love to go back again!! - Margaret was very welcoming and friendly.
Very informative about things to do and places to eat.
And had great knowledge of the local area.
Residence was very clean and comfortable. Shops, Restaurants and transport were all within walking distance.
We would highly recommend this B&B.
- Paul (9/5): Superb - Great breakfast with thought from the host rather than a default menu.
- Simon (7/5): Good - Good location in N Vancouver 10 minute walk to the ferry . Property clean. Be prepared to take your shoes off. Bedroom spotlessly clean. Nice en-suite Could have done with air conditioning… was warm in our room.
- Coupe (4/5): Dissapointing - The view As seniors, there were too many stairs to struggle up with luggage, fridge, and tv not plugged in before our arrival, and no air conditioning, making it hard to sleep. We were "upgraded" so we were disappointed with the room.the fridge and coffee maker were in the bathroom! Won't recommend it.
- Amine (6/5): Pleasant - Easy access location , free parking , nice host, facilities. Host came inside the property , opened the door without even knocking the door. Even worse she entered with her pet.
She was under impression none is there because car was not parked , but my wife was there and got extremely shocked from this.
That was the only issue I had with the property. I guess there was no bad intention behind this , but it was not acceptable.
- Kerstin (10/5): A very special place, the opposite of a big anonymous hotel. Lovely host, delicious breakfast. - A wonderful place that will make you feel at home away from home. Margaret is amazing, the breakfast is delicious and you get to meet other guests at the breakfast table. Air conditioning would have been nice during the hot summer days.
- Judith (8/5): Margaret made us very welcome. The mini house was perfect for our stay. - Margaret cooked the best omelettes ever.
The mini house was easily accessible, especially important for us.
Parking available too Some steps to the main house.
- Sean (9/5): We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the hospitality. The location was great for walking around North Van. Would def stay - It’s clean and has a great location. My only complaint would be that it doesn’t have AC, but having said that, it was a mini heat wave when we were there, and it was still comfortable with the little fan the host gave us (we’re used to Texas summer heat). So not a major issue for us.
- Jose (9/5): Lovely property, well hosted and everything presented as promised. - Margaret was an excellent host and was always helpful, particularly with early check in and holding my luggage after check out. Breakfast was served exactly on time and the room was comfortable for the duration of my stay.
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Margaret is very friendly and accommodating. She makes a delicious breakfast for her guests and the other guests were very friendly There is no air conditioning in the house so being there during a hot spell was uncomfortable. Margaret put a couple of fans in the room to cool it down, which was very helpful.
- Anna-katharina (10/5): A home away from home. - Margaret is a lovely host.
The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
The rooms with the ocean-view are stunning.
A home away from home. -
- Chandra (9/5): Superb -
- Virginia (10/5): Great location, clean and friendly host. - Margaret was a top notch host. Her breakfasts were hot and filling. Great conversationalist. Across the harbor from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Vancouver. Great view of the water and city. Exceptionally clean. Because the property sits on a hill, there are stairs. But other reviewers wrote about it. Did not impact my opinion of the locations rating.
- Ofelia (9/5): Nice - Clean and manager is accommodating No parking,
Cant bring in shoes to your room
- Lydia (9/5): A real pleasure - The room was very good, the owner charming, the breakfast outstanding
- Bianca (9/5): Superb -
- Rachelle (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (8/5): Great view, friendly host, comfortable room - The bed was very comfortable and room clean. Bathroom was good too. The view was amazing and the host very friendly and helpful. It was a bit far from Lonsdale Ave.
- Feco978 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (9/5): Superb -
- Puuuudding (10/5): A pleasant and joyful experience - This is a nice mini house in the back yard. It has a full kitchen, a big sofa bed for rest/watching tv and a bedroom. The house locates on a quite neighborhood. Not far from tourist attractions in north Vancouver. House host Margaret is very friendly.
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Nice host, Nice breakfast, Nice view from the balcony, Nice room
- Kathleen (9/5): Home away from home - Excellent location. Comfortable and quiet room. Delicious breakfast.
- Ramona (5/5): Passable -
- Tobin (10/5): Really awesome. - service was exceptional. We loved Margaret. Room was great and bed was super comfortable. Great location.
- Kathy (9/5): Great location - Breakfast was excellent and so was the conversation with other guests. Down the street and around the corner was a great little brew house. The pillows could be replaced
- Barry (9/5): Lots of European charm. Beautiful home. - Good omelets and fresh fruit
- Sanders-stanton (4/5): Disappointing - The breakfast was good the first day. We left early prior to the breakfast second day. The was cold when we arrived. The bed mattress was sliding off the bed. The bed was not comfortable at all. The owner told us we had to make sure room was clean because there was no house cleaning done on Saturday. The owner also yelled at me because we were late arriving because we got lost. Also owner stated she usually do not have children, so make my grandson did not break anything or we would have pay additional $500.00.. Also, for amount of money she charge , I would expected better facilitates and more pleasant and respectful meeting the owner.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was great. Good conversation with the others staying there. Some of the plug-ins didn’t work. The pillows could be replaced.
- Shmygelska (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Outstanding location, walkable to many nice restaurants and unique tap houses.
- John (10/5): Great place to stay will be coming back here next visit from Australia - Owner was very nice, friendly, polite and helpful. Went out of her way to help. Location was perfect close to main shopping area but not too close, everything was in comfortable walking distance. Nothing
- Chay (2/5): This hotel do not have ait condition, no qualify as hotel - NON
- Pia (10/5): Great b&b. - Breakfast was great. Location is great, especially if you have planned excursions in Squamish.
- Lynn (10/5): Excellent guest house, clean and fab breakfast. - Room was clean and had a balcony with view of Vancouver. Breakfast was lovely and a chance to meet other travellers. 10 minute walk to the sea bus. House very close to a factory, quite noisy but we did need to sleep with the French doors open because the room was so warm. Host provided a fan which was great.
- Alice (10/5): I would recommend to anyone travelling on holiday or for work - The host has exceptionl culinary skills and is very generous, kind and cheerful. The facility is located in a quiet neighbourhood in north Vancouver overlooking downtown Vancouver across the harbour, it is a sight to behold especially in the evenings and the fireworks displays are unforgettable. I enjoyed the easy access to and from the city through transportation by the seabus which is faster than the regular road transport by bus and way cheaper than taxi. Great restaurants and shops at Lonsdale which is a short walking distance from the facility. Nothing. Everything was great for me
- Darren (8/5): Very good - The location and the view Portable AC would have been great…faced south and was very hot in the room
- Margaret (8/5): B&B apart from area was excellent - Breakfast was excellent. Host was most professional. Room was great Area was a bit disappointing. Very near industry.
- Ralph (9/5): Superb -
- Dana (9/5): Great place to stay when visiting Vancouver. excellent location near SeaBus. lots of restaurants and shopping within wa - Fantaatic location! rooms were bright and clean rooms were a bit small
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Nicholas (10/5): Excellent hospitality and knowledgeable host regarding north Vancouver. - A 15 to 20 minute walk to all the facilities in Lower Lonsdale and Seabus. Excellent and friendly welcome and wonderful breakfasts. Wish I could have stayed longer!
- Loretta (6/5): Pleasant -
- Julie (10/5): Very enjoyable- well looked after. Great host - Very homely. Host was very welcoming. Good location. Nothing
- Aaron (9/5): Superb -
- Callum (10/5): A wonderful stay at with an extremely attentive host. Would thoroughly recommend as is fantastic value for money. - Amazing location. Especially for a couple in our 20’s - plenty of restaurants and brewery’s within a few minutes walk. Easily commutable to downtown with public transport and a great location for doing things north of the city too. Free on street parking also a plus. Nothing to say about this at all.
- Aldo (8/5): Very good -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Fun times at breakfast. Lovely company and cute puppy
- Gordon (8/5): It was our first say at a B&B; it will not be our last. - Host Margaret was exceptionally kind and helpful. The location had free street parking, and was within walking distance to the harbor area where excellent tourist facilities abound. The reviews raved about the breakfasts prepared by host Margaret. Unfortunately for us, it was not served until 9:30 a.m. Nonetheless, Margaret had a nice breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, coffee and Danish waiting for us as we left for our early morning excursions.
- Amy (10/5): Enjoyed our stay! - Margaret was a very good host. The property was in a nice, neighborhood and convenient to shopping and good meals! Her breakfasts were always a delightful experience.
- Maria (10/5): I highly recommend this place to anybody visiting Vancouver. - The owner of the property is just great. She cares about all of her customers. She makes sure everybody is doing ok. I loved to stay there. Margaret, the owner, adds an additional layer of excellence to an already excellent service. I do not have any complaints. The place was just perfect for me. I would definitely stay there again if I happen to visit Vancouver in the future.
- Barbara (10/5): This was a quiet, relaxing place to visit in a great location close to everything. Very peaceful!!! - High quality breakfasts, good quantity, varied options. The host made “care” packages of food if you were not available for breakfast. She made breakfasts fresh and they were attractively displayed.
The property is secured, so we were able to let our dog roam free in the garden. Seating is provided outside. When the weather was good, we were able to take advantage of that. Unlike some Band B’s we were able to come and go throughout the day.
The host is a personable, caring and efficient person who was sensitive to our every need. Overall a great place to stay. We had a lot of luggage, so next time, we would try to get a larger room. However, we managed quite well - we had to think a lot about how to answer this question, because we had a great time here.
- Saleh (8/5): Very good -
- Mohammadali (9/5): Superb -
- Suresh (1/5): Bad - Very Upset All waste
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional breakfast and hospitality. Thank you so much for lifetime memories at your wonderful place.
- John (9/5): Amazing Margaret - very nice location and view and Margaret was the best with sweetie Jess
- Portia (8/5): Very good -
- Debashish (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sharon (1/5): Dirty place and check out other sites about this place. - The double bed was comfortable. Lovely newly renovated bathroom. Checked in with feces on the outside of the toilet. My Mum is partially disabled and I was told there were 6 stairs to come up for breakfast. That was not the case there was another lot of stairs. Therefore, she couldn’t get up all the stairs to get breakfast. One of the beds had not been changed from the previous stay. Dirty cutlery, sponges and dust. Margaret is not an approachable person and likes to argue with her guests. I wish that I had looked on other sites to see the reviews if this place. I was told a 5 minute walk to the The Quay which was also a lie. Even if Mum was not in the wheelchair it still would take much longer to walk there. No view.
- Scott (9/5): Easy to get around Vancouver and surrounding area from Ocean Breeze. - Great Breakfast , great location as we did not need to be in the heart of the city. Our room had a balcony that was enjoyable in the great weather. The place was very clean and great care was taken to make our stay enjoyable. Even the coffee provided in the room was good quality. The cost for us was high but reasonable for an expensive city (Vancouver). Price was fair, just would have liked to pay less.
- Chizuru (10/5): walk distance to nice restaurant! - Nice view, good location, and owner is very kind.
- Romi (10/5): Everything we wished for - We had an extraordinary time in this cosy B & B. Our room was equipped with everything you need, including a spectacular view of Vancouver skyline. We particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked Canadian breakfast and the hospitality of our host who made us feel welcome and special. Bars, restaurants, grocery stores and public transport are within walking distance, including sea bus (ferry) to downtown Vancouver (12 min ride), and local bus to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge. The perfect place to relax after a busy day. Thanks for an unforgettable stay!
- Cam (9/5): Comfortable place near Lonsdale - The breakfast was excellent and the location was very good for an event we were attending on Lonsdale Quay The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.
- Michael (10/5): A lovely and convinent plac to star! - Atmosphere and Vib was friendly and welcoming. Nothing
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): A very enjoyable stay! - A very individual guest house with a lovely warm welcome from proprietor, Margaret - who makes excellent breakfasts! everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Great location in north Vancouver near craft breweries, restaurants, boutiques and really easy to get the water bus to the city.
- Karen (10/5): short stay and felt like home. wonderful host! - Margaret is an amazing host and such a lovely person. makes you feel very much at home.
