• Xavier (1/5): Emotional distress that ruined my trip overflowing toilet horrible washer lack of careworsthostever! - Location during carnival thats about it everything else was a horrible experience. Probably the worst I ever had traveling. Oh first off I arrived at the hotel. The host provided me with the information to get into the apartment. The security would not let me in at first it was a very annoying experience after I had to wait 2 hours for a shuttle that was included with booking.com. I had to argue with security advising them I was staying there after about a 30 minute encounter. I then proceeded to my room. When I got there I tried to enter the passcode to get into my room. The host had advised a checkmark at the end of the passcode. There was no check mark on the keypad, so I tussled once again for about 15-20 minutes just to get the door open.(evidence of the whole conversation.) The room was ok minus them have a huge load of mosquitoes where Im still suffering from the marks it was ideal for one person to stay. I ran into a towel issue as I only had 2-3 towels she advised I should not be asking for towels after the second day. I must say this host was the most rude incompetent host I ever ran across. Meanwhile she advised they had towels under the bed or in the master bedroom. I did not see any. She then advised I would have to wash and dry my own towels since I was staying long term (6 days). I then just got really frustrated and just washed the towels I had. I spent a whole morning trying to figure out the washer/dryer method she indicated the washer had. The clothes/towels would wash but then it would never try. I then took a screenshot of the washing machine. This is when she advised she had made a mistake and advised that washer did not have a drying feature. So literallyt from 5am to 10-11am I wasted ample time trying to dry towels. Then the major issue was the toilet bowl overflowing. I went to shower I heard a sizzling sound from the bowl. Next thing you know water is everywhere. I alerted her she did nothing about even the staff ran away from the problem. Until security cut the water off.
