• Christine (9/5): Retreat weekend stay - We were there for a writing weekend and we certainly made the most of the sprawling house. We enjoyed coming together for meals at lunch and dinnertime and sitting in the great room/kitchen/dining. The location was only a 45 minute drive for most of us so we were there early on Friday afternoon. The surroundings are rustic and quite private. The house was freezing on the weekend we were there (August 1-3 bbrrrrrr). It was actually colder inside the sleeping wing of the house than outdoors. Bring your winter woolies if you're there in the colder months. There are no curtains or blinds so be aware of that if you are a very light sleeper. Curtains would also help to keep the rooms are little warmer. The hot water could have been hotter too, but we survived! Be aware too, that only 1 room has an ensuite. It was okay for us as we only had 5 people (4 sharing the one bathroom) but if 11 people stay in the house, you'd have 9 sharing one bathroom, so just keep that in mind if you're planning a big group getaway. There is another, separate toilet, which is helpful. Having said all this we had an amazing weekend and got lots of writing done! We will definitely be back.
• Kim (9/5): Perfect location and accommodation for friends to reconnect. - The Homestead was the perfect accommodation for our girls weekend with 5 spacious bedrooms and lots of beautiful spaces to reconnect and catch up. We loved it, indoors and outdoors. Great fire pit for winter. Some more wine glasses would be good for larger groups.

• Jenni (7/5): The pool was a great asset for us a nice break - Loved the homestead plenty of room the kitchen area was a great area The surrounding area very run down which was a worry with kids for SNAKES it seemed some rooms the aircon didn’t work
• Abbie (9/5): Ideal place for a group getaway - Gorgeous location and a lovely outdoor area. The house was perfect for a big group. It was clean and well looked after. No curtains or blinds in the bedrooms

I have more photos but it only allows me to upload 4 photos . - We didn’t end up staying as the property was very untidy we have pictures and videos and it was not the same as the pictures on the website or advertised it was and is very misleading we did not stay and would request our money back please It was messy and areas dangerous and we did not know it was a shared property with other little houses sheds around that we very messy opened and not very welcoming

Central heating made the stay very comfortable The hot water did not work on the first day but notified maintenance which got on to it quickly. Some extra cleanliness could be looked into by maintenance in areas that aren’t as frequently used such as the laundry
• Claire (10/5): Beautiful Byron Getaway - The photos don’t do this property justice! It’s in a beautiful spot with stunning views, and the house itself is just gorgeous. It’s clean and decorated beautifully with the most unique art pieces. There’s also ample space for staying with a group of family and friends. It feels so homely and has absolutely everything you need. We’d love to visit again! Thanks for having us.
