• Vittorio (6/5): Great location to explore Naples but room for improvement - - The host was super efficient with clear explanation how to get to the property, collect the keys and also provided lots of tips to explore Naples main attractions. - The location is great if you arrive by train (just 15 minutes walk to/from the train station), close to the underground stop and to Spaccanapoli. Lots of local restaurants and small supermarkets open until late. - The narrow lane to arrive to the flat is a bit dark and the building is run down, but it's safe. It's a working class area with genuine Neapolitan feel. - We liked that the flat was very always quiet. - All in all, it is good value for money. - The building is not really appealing from the outside, the staircase is poorly maintained, and the steps are quite high, so if you have to carry heavy suitcases or have mobility issues this will be a problem. - The flat needs a bit more love; the bathroom needs some fixing (towel holder and the shower head holder were broken), we found the beds not really comfortable, and a better overall cleaning would have helped (we found an opened bottle of water in the fridge, open biscuits and some crumbles on the table). Also the cleaning mop left in the corner and the Christmas decorations still on (we visited in March) didn't give the idea that the flat is looked after as it should. - Also, the flat is not as bright as it appears in the pictures. It's quite dark but for us was not a problem as we stayed outside for most of the day.
• Frederick (7/5): Naples was hot and very full on. A week was a bit long. - The location was excellent and the apartment was well appointed. The stairs were a killer when getting bags up and down.
