Guest Reviews
- atlhopheng (7/5): - Breakfast low quality
- Cristina (5/5): Friendly but stingy - It is along the river. It is clean and really cozy. The staff is very friendly and very kind. The location is far from the city centre. When it rains the streets get very muddy and no taxi was prepared to pick us up.
Additionally, as we were alone, we were not worthy of having the confort of deck chairs near the pool. In the evening, the staff went home and switched the lights of the lounge off.
- Boutlhamako (8/5): - The food Nothing really
- MAHUBE (6/5): -
- Tladi (6/5): -
- Franklin (9/5): - plenty of space and quiet, thatch roofs and layout lovely
- Boitshepo (7/5): - It's location is very nice along the river, offering nice views and refreshing breeze. They could do with providing mosquito nets in the rooms and offering a breakfast buffet. Same breakfast every day is not pleasant.

- crane moile (1/5): - Nothing On the day of arrival, I went to the property at around 12:00 noon to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in. I was informed that early check-in would attract an additional charge of P400, which I declined. I then advised the staff that I would return at 14:00, which is closer to the standard check-in time.
Shockingly, approximately 15 minutes after I had left the premises, I received a phone call informing me that my booking/vacancy was no longer available. This was both unexpected and unacceptable, especially given that the booking had been confirmed well in advance.
This experience reflects poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and improper handling of confirmed reservations. A confirmed booking should not be cancelled or reallocated without valid reason or proper communication, particularly when the guest has complied with the agreed check-in terms.

- riet (7/5): Prachtige plek in een authentieke omgeving - De authentieke sfeer. Was moeilijk te bereiken
- Ronald (6/5): - The rroms were nice and the views amazing The toilets drainage needs to be attended
- Caroline (9/5): Like it! - Service war super und sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit, einfach total nette Leute!! Bett könnte größer sein
- Elisabeth (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft, hervorragendes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal -

- Julia (9/5): Lovely place - Location is 15 minutes drive out of town but worth it - enjoy the garden view and have a walk along the river. Staff ist extraordinarly friendly and helpful, the rooms, the pool and all other facilities were very clean and comfortable for a reasonable prize. They offered hot water, tea and coffee in the room, an awesome breakfast and prepared a lovely dinner for us. everything was fine!
- Jean Francois (10/5): - Les cabanes typiques la piscine, la vue sur la rivière, l'éloignement du centre de Maun Rien à signaler
- Stijn (10/5): Prachtige idyllische plek net buiten Maun. - Prachtige, rustige plaats buiten Maun. Ideaal als je niet direct de delta wil bezoeken, maar eerder richting panhandle en Namibië gaat. Heel gastvrij ontvangen. Jammer dat dit niet zo gekend is want dit verblijf heeft veel potentieel. Moeilijke zanderige toegangsweg.
- Cornelia (10/5): Klare Weiterempfehlung. - We spent our first and last night of our stay in Botswana at MoOs River Lodge and really enjoyed it. Everything met our expectations and the price/performance ratio was very good. The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and there were extra blankets for the cool nights. The room had a refrigerator, kettle, tea, coffee, and water (which could be refilled at any time). The English breakfast was included in the price and was prepared fresh for us (no buffet!). In the evening, we could choose from several dishes and it tasted very good. (not included in the price) The housekeeper helped us at all times and answered all our questions. The pool was very clean.

- Mwanza (7/5): Good -
- Janette (6/5): Very warm welcome but the lodge needs maintenance and some more staff. - Staff was very friendly Lots of maintenance needed also very under staffed
- Renato (6/5): MoOs review - The bed was super comfy, the grass, garden and pool are well maintained and the breakfast was okay. The aircon was great for the small room.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was leaking, the shower tiles are loose and the bathroom windows could not close or be hooked into a position. There is only 1 electrical point easily accesable and one behind the bed. if one does not have a multiplug adaptor, and/or an extension cord, getting stuff charged and connected is a problem. There are no bedside lamps either. For the size of the room, I think it is overpriced.
There was also no chef and we had to go into town to get dinner.
- Sam (2/5): Very poor -
- Claire (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dean (1/5): Bad - Big swimming pool This lodge is an absolute no go, when we arrived 2 hours later than we thought we would due to very busy roads the host was very impatient and told us we are late, we where a bit shocked that paying guests get treated this way. Then the next thing they tried is to constantly get more money out of you, we booked for two people, including breakfast, when we arrived, the manager or person who. Checked us in said we need to pay extra for breakfast as it is only for one person , which was not the case. After some serious discussions, the matter was resolved. We asked if we could please have one extra blanket they did put in the room. However, the next day, they wanted to charge an extra 150pula for the blanket. It seems quite ridiculous considering the extremely unprofessional and unwelcoming arrival and atmosphere. The very apex of this horrible stay was when we went to the pool to just try and relax a bit . A whole group of local construction workers rocked up, which was not paying guests and wanted to take over the pool, they where very hostile towards us, and it was extremely uncomfortable. We did not feel safe here.
- Oliver (9/5): Beautiful lodge and lovely service - Very nice lodge in traditional style, all recently constructed, everything is new like the very silent und smooth air condition. When I arrived, some works were still to be done, but was outperformed by lovely manager Amantle who took care of everything. Because the restaurant was not yet opened, she cooked dinner for me: excellent. It is located a little bit out of town, so you need a car or a driver. I had the great Kevin who drove me around, securely, friendly, competent. Beautiful birds in the garden, sunset is marvelous, you see it vis-a-vis the lodge.
