Shaun (8/5): A great facility in a great location - The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious, and the kitchen facilities great We were only provided one bath towel, and even after the room had been serviced we only had one towel. The desk staff was helpful in arranging a second one the next day though. There was an issue with the air conditioning, but we only used it for a limited time.

Marion (7/5): Spacious room within easy distance to town - Clean, spacious room with large bed. Easy walking distance to town. Friendly staff and easy parking. Noisy main road, so couldn’t have window open on a hot night. There was aircon - but had to have it on all the time. No coffee maker - despite it being listed among room amenities. This was disappointing. Only Lipton tea offered in the room - some herbal varieties would have been nice too. Soaps weren’t nice to use.

Jennifer (7/5): Good value motel 15 minutes walk from centre of town. - Good location about 15 minutes walk from centre of town. On main road but fairly quiet at night. Very spacious room with comfortable lounge. Air conditioning was efficient & quiet. Staff were delightful. There were some large patched cracks in the wall. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridor & room, & at times in the shower (drain smell). The bathroom fan needed cleaning as dust & fluff continually fell out of it onto the vanity & sink. (Personal preference - bed was too firm).

Leon (6/5): Glad we were on the ground floor. We brought in our portable fridge from the car. - Clean and modern. Foxtel. Internet good. Advertised with kitchenette. Tiny little fridge full of wine. No cooktop. No oven or even an air fryer. Not suitable for travellers bringing some supplies.

The staff were helpful and very welcoming. No formal dining. We needed to travel to another motel (Winning Post) to eat. The breakfast was extremely overpriced for the poor quality that it was.
Nancy (9/5): Would stay again for work related matters. A bit out of the CBS for a quick walk in and back. - Spotless and plenty of room. I chose to get one of the wood fired pizzas. Are all wood fired pizzas burnt on the bottom? not sure, so my own fault. Could have returned it I guess.

Andrew Hewitt (10/5): - This is our go to accommodation chice in Mudgee. We have stayed here several times and are always happy that we have received value for money. Welcoming and friendly staff, ample parking, and spacious and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend The Horatio.

The frosted glass bathroom door.. using the bathroom light when you use bathroom in the night meant that the entire suite flooded with bright light while others slept.

I was having a drink with family in town and I could not get an uber. So I had to walk to Kelly’s pub. A bit of a hike for a 72 year old. It a bit out from the main drag.
