No pudimos hospedarnos en este hostal, porque estaba en remodelación y nunca nos avisaron, nos enteramos cuando llegamos y los llamamos.

• Guest (10/5): - Elephantine adasına ulaşmak için önce biraz sıkıntı çektim. Kiraladığımız yer bir adadaydi ve ilk zamanlarda zor olacağını zannettim ama daha sonra aswanin en güzel adalarindan biri olduğunu farkettim. Özel kayiklar pahaliydi ama sonra yerel ulaşım yerlerini buldum ve bu sorun da çözüldü. Tesisin sahibi bayan çok değerli ve yardimsever bir insandı. Her konuda bize yardımcı oldu. adadaki insanlarda çok aicak kanlı ve yardimseverdi.
• Zeng (10/5): Wonderful 4-Night Stay - My husband and I had a great stay at Nubian Queen Guest House. The room was basic but very comfortable and very clean. All of the equipment worked very well (hot water, a good working fan, and good working air conditioning). The owner is very kind and made us feel at home. She brought us breakfast when we checked out, arranged our laundry for us, and gifted us a Nubian necklace.

Öğleden sonra ulaşmamıza rağmen aynı gün bize tekne ile nubian köyü ziyareti ayarladı. Tekne oldukça rahattı ve musa ve arkadaşı bizi sakince gezdirdikten sonra köye götürdü. Ebu simbel tapınak yolculuğumuzu ve sonrasında geçeceğimiz luksor yolculuğunu da Rawia ayarladı. Kendisi sürekli bizi arayarak ne durumda olduğumuzu sık sık kontrol etti, Ebu simbel yolculuğu öncesi bize kahvaltılık kumanya dahi hazırlamış. 2 yatak ve bir banyo bana yeter diyorsanız hiç düşünmenize gerek yok. Adaya tekneyle ulaşım sağlanıyor ve 15 EGP gibi bir ücretle günün 24 saati ulaşım mümkün, her 10-15 dk’da bir tekne kalkıyor. Adanın kendisi biraz daha otantik bir havaya sahip.

La tranquilidad de la Isla Elefantina. Le di al encargado Shehab un adelanto para un tour compartido, pero este se canceló. El día de mi partida no me contestó los mensajes donde le pedía mi dinero, sólo me escribió que lo había dejado por debajo de la mesa, pero el monto estaba incompleto. Sólo me contestó cuando le dije que lo pondría en Booking.

• Anish (10/5): Friendly owners , clean and neat. - 1) Important thing the stay is really good, clean and neat.  2) Owner is friendly, kind and trustworthy. 3) Response is on time and genuine  4) we need to go there by ferry which is frequency of 5 to 10 mins with 10 egp per person. 5) She(owner) booked us a group tour to abu simbel for good price. 6) Toilets are clean Main part we need to look for in egypt is getting a loyal people around you very important and we felt that staying here. They helped a lot. Special note: *Shehab Ahmed*-  A special mention this man is just amazing and great hearted. Everything he said was real and loyal I had a problem trusting some people in Egypt due to many bad experiences but this man made that feeling go away he helped a lot.  He helped us in everything for booking a cab to Luxor for best price. Comparing the prices and get you the best one. He gives all the suggestions which will help you in entire trip.  And he helped us exchange currency going around without we going, when we are running out of time for leaving to luxor. We feel like a gift in egypt God bless him and the owner.  Cons: Only one thing is the washroom is little small but it is clean and neat. Different people have different opinions on stays but for me it was a good experience.
• ふぁんふてはん (10/5): ゲストハウスが苦手な人も大丈夫 - 元気で世話好きな可愛いらしいおばちゃんが対応してくれました。 格安なのにバスルーム、トイレ付き。アスワンの町中は騒音がすごいと聞いていたので、こちらにして正解だったと思います。 コンセントがベッドから1メートルくらい高いところにあって、枕元のコンセントはWi-Fiルーター専用になっているため、スマホの充電するとき苦労した。 長いケーブルが必要です。 枕元で充電したいからWi-Fiルーターのコンセントを外していたら深夜１時に見知らぬ男性がドアを何度かノックされ、Wi-Fiルーターを繋いで下さいと頼まれたところだけは、凄い怖かった。 参考までに。

• Mau (10/5): A good stay on this Island - The host is absolutely amazing, she helps us to arrange tours and the place is clean. You can have a nice view from the rooftop. She gives us free breakfast and lovely necklance on our check out day. If you arrive, please WhatsApp her in advance so that someone gonna check you in. Everything is good except the boat tour arrangement to Philae Temple, the boat captain tried to persuade us to give him cash and gave us an old ticket. We insisted to go to the ticket office which made him not happy after all. It is not pleasant and I recommend people not to do that.

• Yu (9/5): Superb - owner was nice, she prepared a small gift for me before i left, however i got woke up at 6am as she did not have the key to enter the premises. It is great to get out of the busy city since there was no car in the elephantine island. A tad expensive for Egypt prices, As mentioned by other comments, was not given top cover, towel and toilet roll. However, it was provided upon request. Would be nice if it's already there during the stay
• Ayaka (9/5): Warm hospitality of the owner, the island has a great atmosphere! - There are 2 public boat ramps on the island, and the guesthouse is a 3min walk from the northern one. The room was clean and there was always a hot shower. The owner was very kind and gave me a handmade necklace for me. I checked out very early in the morning but she came with me to the boat ramp to see me off. Thank you! I stayed here for 2 nights, but the internet didn’t work for one day.

Was not very easy to get in touch with the host before the stay. The house was under construction when I was there.

• Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about our stay here was amazing. It's a new building, very clean and with great rooms and facilities. Also it is in an excellent location. However, the highlight of our stay was the owner. An incredibly nice lady who made sure we were always comfortable and the meal she prepared us was one of our favourites in 6 months of travel around the world. Would definitely stay again!
• Valentin (10/5): Simply Great! - We had a great time at the Nubian Queen Guest House! Allthough we booked on very short notice, erverything was ready for us. The host was very kind. She offered good advice for our future plans in Assuan and booked our trip to Abu Simbel. In the evening, she prepared a very delicios Dinner at the Nile. She took great care to prepare us a variety of traditional nubian dishes and a tasty egyptian tee and a incredible cold hibiscustee. The room is newly build and has a modern and quiet AC. The bathroom, allthough build egyptian style, is new and clean The guesthouse is located on the elephantine island. A calm and relaxing enviroment with a very friendly and helpfull neighborhood. The Island itself can be reached by public ferry next to a KFC for 10 EGP at the time. Overall we had a great time. I would always book again! A clear recomendation! The Wifi didnt have connection to the Internet at the time The pillow a little bit big. Thats all.
• Jan (9/5): Superb - It looks quite freshly built, we got a tea in the morning, the lady is nice and considerate, easy to find from the ferry (check OpenStreetMaps or call to pick up from the ferry), trip to Abu Simbel can be provided. When you need a safe way of travel, they can manage trip or taxi for you but we managed that by ourselves.

The hospitality shown by the house owner Hajja Rawia was truly exceptional; she went above and beyond to ensure that I felt welcomed and taken care of during my visit. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine kindness, making me feel like a valued guest. The Nubian Queen Guesthouse is a true gem in Aswan, and I highly recommend it to anyone .

Except as a way to improve the place, let there be assigned a worker to do daily thorough cleaning of the entire guest house. Also provide a flat iron. Nevertheless I would choose to stay there again if I travelled back to Aswan because the old lady who took care of us in her demeanor was so exceptional. I love her. As mentioned above

The guesthouse is very close to where you take the ferry to cross and that makes it very convenient. In addition, Elephantine Island is ideal to stay, super quiet and with very beautiful views of the Nile. But, more than anything, I want to thank Mrs. Rawia for being so kind and helping us with everything, she helped us organize the tour to the Philae temple and Abu Simbel. Don't hesitate to stay here because I would definitely do it again 😊 Nothing, everything was súper good!

We stayed tween room with private bath room.The guest house was clean and comfortable. The location of the guest house was very close from the boat station. But we had to take a public boat whenever we go out. That's only one thing inconvenient.

• Kiana (10/5): Exceptional - Such an excellent stay! Very comfortable rooms with their own bathrooms which were clean and had lots of hot water which seems to be quite rare in Egypt! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly here, I really felt at home. We went on a boat tour with their nephew which was organised so quickly and really good value. It's a sister hotel of Baba Dool where we ate one night which was nice too. You feel like home here so really recommend staying.

• Anastasia (10/5): Brand new, clean, quiet, warm, small guest house in the center of the village, close to everything. - This is a brand new small guest house with only four rooms. They only finished building and opened at the end of 2022, so everything is new and shiny. It's extremely clean: bedsheets, bathroom, everything. Carpets, blankets, towels are brand new. Shower is hot and strong, everything works. Rooms are spacious, ceiling is high. There's no view from the window, though, and the roof terrace is not finished yet. There's a common area, a small kitchen, a large fridge, an electric kettle and a supply of tea, coffee and sugar. Wifi speed is amazing. The house is in the middle of the village, five minutes walk from the ferry, three minutes from Bob Marley restaurant, two minutes from the local shop. It's also very quiet, it was a surprise for me, but I only heard birds singing from the outside, no other noises. Also, no sound can be heard from other rooms, as they are separated by the common space, and sound isolation seems good. My room was very warm (it's January, and it's usually freezing at night, but not in this house). The owner, Rawiya, built the house and is running it all on her own, with some help from her niece, so it's an all-women business (also that's why it's so clean). She speaks great English and knows everything, she can give you advice on where to go and how to get there. She can also organize a trip to Abu Simbel or a motor boat or a felucca trip or a taxi boat from/to the train station. She has lots of experience, she's been helping to run her brother's guest house for many years, and her other brother has a small Nubian museum (Animalia). She's a great cheerful personality and has lots of stories to tell. It's my first time in this guest house, but I stayed many times in the other guest house that she helps running, and Rawiya and her family have become my second family, I've never felt so comfortable and welcome anywhere.
• Stefanie (7/5): Has potential, but needs to improve in detail. - Rauia is very friendly and helpful, it's really interesting to talk to her and learn about the region and her family. She speaks fluent English and can organize tours or give advice regarding public transportation around Egypt. The location on the Island is super, only five minutes to the ferry. The breakfast was not very special for extra 4$. Rauia and her niece are very nice but they seem to be so busy with other things that they easily forget to prepare breakfast or bring a fresh towel. The guesthouse is brand new and still under construction, no TV installed etc. The mattress is new but the bed frame old and very noisy. Hopefully it will get better in the future.
• Diego (9/5): Great quality to price ratio. - The guesthouse is brand new, actually some parts are still to be completed, like for instance the rooftop terrace (which is already possible to use), and the rooms are specklessly clean. The owner, Rawia, is very helpful and can provide plenty of information and help you organize your trip. The location is on Elephantine island, very close to the ferryboat and a few nice bars boasting a wonderful terrace on the Nile. In my opinion this is much a better place than noisy Assouan. The common spaces are still limited, but this will be solved when the rooftop terrace is finished.
• Svetlana (10/5): Cozy place in Nubian village - our room was absolutly new and clean. very quiet in the evening. just 3 minutes on foot from local ferry. the owners are friendly and did not force us to buy excursions, but on the contrary, they explained us how to visit Abu Simbel independently without groups. We did it and were happy. At first we planned to stay 2 nights but finnaly stayed 4 nights and felt ourself at home.
