Guest Reviews
- Krzysztof (10/5): - Excellent location, close to public transport, perfect for a budget traveler no additional lighting in the room, e.g. bed lamp or desk lamp

- Vincent Lobo (10/5): Great value in price, location, stay. Recommend! - Location great! Close to amenities and kensington market! Owner quick to respond, satisfy requests and on personal note exceptional to accomodate my late checkout baggage. Protocols to checkin/out were made efficiently and easily. Other Guests were responsible (not loud) and cooperative which benefited in overall enjoyment and experience.
- alexandre (7/5): - Bed was comfortable, room was clean and the instructions to check in were clear. Toilet was clean. The shower was gross, mold stains in the grout and the water drains slowly, so you're standing in water.
The doors and walls are not soundproof at all, they do have quiet hours over night, but every day I was woken up by other people around 8-9 am. They were stomping around, closing doors hard and talking loudly. But I guess you get what you pay for.

- Beverley (1/5): Probably the worst place I have stayed - Nothing to like the place is a run down dive never see the owner/manager Steep staircase not even a small shoe wide to drag suitcases up 3 flights Very run down poor facilities
- Honorata Karolina (10/5): - A little lamp in a room would make a huge difference.
- Simon (10/5): Amazing little room used as a base for travelling. Excellent location. - Perfect and very reasonable Nothing
- Fecóóka (8/5): - Close to downtown Toronto Nyikorgó ajtók, poros bútorok, kevés konnektor a szobában.
- Unciano (8/5): it was good - near bus station and the facilities are clean there is no heater and ac

- RAYHAN (10/5): Satisfy - Very good neighbour hood and everything close from here. Very good location. Very nice clean and staff are helpful
- Caroline (9/5): -
- Vanessa (8/5): Great place for the value - wonderful location! everything was walkable and there were so many different food options on various streets within walking distance room is small but I expected that when I booked it. I would book here again if I'm looking for value

- Rachel (10/5): Like a home away from home! - My second time staying here and I loved it just as much as the first time. The location is amazing and is central to everywhere I’m interested in visiting regularly. It’s very clean, stocked, and clearly labelled. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, too. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I visit Toronto!!
- Haran (10/5): Clean, organized, value for money in DT Toronto - Clean and organized, the host comunnicated so fast and helped me settle in.
- Petros (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Super lovely accommodations and the owner is wonderful. The location is central to all the things I love most about the city—Koreatown, Chinatown and Little Italy. The view is great and you can even see the CN Tower from the window!
- 大和 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beth (8/5): Fantastic value for money and very helpful host! - Perfect location
Helpful Host that answered questions even late at night
Great value for money The stairs located under the rooms to enter were extremely loud and creeky whenever anyone entered. This woke me up a number of times.
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Panagiota (10/5): Good stay - The house was clean, comfortable, the room was fine for one person. Good price for Toronto. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The bathroom has shampoo, soaps and everything you need. The owner replies immediately via booking messages and he cares about anything you need. The neighbour is fine, near everything you need, the tram stop is just in front of the house and you can move in the city easily. The sounds. You can easily listen everyone who walks around or talk.
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (7/5): Clean, comfy, and convenient for exploration of old town, Chinatown and downtown on foot or by tram. - Good location, on the tramline and has great walkability to Kensington Market, Chinatown, and downtown. Easy access, very clean, good bed, good pillows. Although on a pretty busy street, it is still quiet on the street site. I would've liked the room to have a floor lamp, reading light, or table lamp, the ceiling light was very bright without a dimmer.
- Rebekah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Korinzia (6/5): Room in the centre of Toronto - The communication with the host, the location, the comfortable bed and pillows, the cleanliness. The shared sink, toilet and shower that from the description was not clear that they are all in separate spaces in the kitchen and the sink is open to everyone.
The squeaky ceiling: every morning I woke up early because of other guests stepping on the floor above the room going back and forth.
- Aimee (7/5): Just fine. Served purpose of place to stay on the fly at reasonable cost for me. At least compared to what else was avai - Price was right. Perfectly reasonable accommodations for budget minded. I particularly liked this area of Toronto as it was the most down to earth/bohemian/diverse.
- Leah (9/5): Very good value for the price - For the price I thought this was a great place to stay. While the amenities were interesting I had everything I needed and the location was excellent! Close to bus and trams, lots of bars, cafes, restaurants etc. Owner was responsive via messages. Very convenient to have access to a kitchen and fridge. General cleanliness was great, however I feel some attention needs to be paid to details eg walls could use a scrub. The mattress slants into the middle and pillows were thin and clumpy, both could use replacing.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joaquín (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): 536 Bathurst was very comfortable and conveniently located. - Location was perfect. 536 is well equipped, was in excellent condition when I arrived and remained so throughout my stay. I enjoyed the hot showers! The note I received on the morning of my arrival did not have the code for the key lock on the door of private bedroom 'C'. I sent a quick email once I had let myself into the communal area and received a speedy reply - so all was well.
- Anonymous (10/5): I couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you! - The host is the nicest host I’ve met! The girl who helps clean the property is also very sweet. I’m so lucky to have met such nice individuals while I’m travelling solo. There were unexpected situations arose during my stay but the host handled them quickly and perfectly. The place is clean and close to the city. I would definitely revisit this place if I have a chance to travel to Toronto again.
- Thrimble (10/5): Exceptional - This place is perfect for a short solo trip. The room has 1 bed and some space to walk. When the tenants above the room walks, it resonates down. Suggest to have a carpet to absorb the noise
- Naza (10/5): Nice and cozy... - Very clean quite safe...
