Guest Reviews
- Damon (8/5): - Room was clean and a decent size Both showers could do with a bit of attention. The seat in one was broken so nowhere to put change of clothes and the other one leaks
- Kevin (8/5): Great little pub accom - Friendly pub accommodation nice location Bit noisy at times but only from other guests
- Yunbin (10/5): -
- hudde (5/5): - Good price. Comfortable bed. Kitchen and laundry room. Oven/Stove in the kitchen was missing. Locks for toilet and shower in one bathroom were broken.

- Georgia (8/5): Dated property but very comfortable bed, very clean linen and staff were fabulous! - The staff were incredibly helpful with all we needed. The shower’s enamel was a bit worn, and though it was clean, was very old. Toilet and basin were pristine though!

- Sluys (4/5): Too much noise during the night - The kitchen is good Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, EXTREMELY noisy for a weekday...the people in the bar were talking and shouting very loudly between midnight and 4:00 am...what a shame
- kyle (3/5): Bad hotel - It was nice area There was cockroaches on the floor of the room
- Florian (8/5): - Friendly and polite staff Clean room, no complaints there, great value and suiting my situation on the day. But if they'd replace the carpet in the hallway and gave the bathrooms a thorough clean I'd score it better though...
- Robert (8/5): Overall decent for the price point. Wouldn’t stay in summer but cooler months would definitely stay again. - Big spacious rooms with clean bathrooms. No aircon but does have ceiling fans
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Di (7/5): Satisfactory - Excellent location Lock on bathroom door not working.
A separate shower would be beaut.
It’s a great venue though
- Glenn (9/5): I will keep coming back, kind caring Staff, awesome value for money and it has everything I need :) - This was my second stay at Seven Seas, the Staff both times all went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. My King room was spacious, neat, tidy and very comfortable. The bed was nearly as good as my own. The vibe in the Pub when I arrived at 7:30pm on Friday night was busy and vibrant, all the Staff & Customers had smiles on their faces. Co-incidentally both times I stayed there I participated in the Raffle and Joker Poker, how exciting ! someone had the chance to win 22k. The TV in my room had all the local stations as well as 3 x Fox Channels so I was able3 to watch the Rugby League & Cricket and the picture quality was outstanding. The Staff and Security Guy Jarryd were all very helpful suggesting local places of interest to me and were all so thoughtful. The Shared Bathroom was extremely clean and tidy like the rest of the whole venue. The value of my 2 night stay was amazing, talk about getting bang for your buck ! :) There was honestly nothing negative I could say about my stay, Im just looking for my next trip down there so I can stay again :)

- Kelly (7/5): - The bed was comfortable for my very short stay and the staff were excellent. The facilities are a little old and could do with some revamping. Very old style and deep bath tub which makes the shower a bit hard to get into if you're not young.
- Hamilton (7/5): -
- FANNY (10/5): - Patron très gentil, nous a prêté une prise pour charger le téléphone
- Alana (8/5): -
- Tone (1/5): Absolute shocker - Horrendously hot, window unable to open , would not recommend this to anyone. Booked for 2 nights stayed only one and left . Don’t do it !!!
- Leanne (8/5): -
- Elise (7/5): Was nice enough - Fly screen on the window was great, nice firm mattress, clean bathroom Couldn't crome cast on the tv, could smell cigarette smoke upstairs, could supply shampoo & body wash

- Glenn (8/5): Great price, very clean & tidy, amazing Staff, suited my needs, very friendly environment :) - All of the Staff went out of their way to help and accommodate me, they were all amazing. The Room I had didnt have a fridge but after asking about one, the lovely young Lady moved me into a room with a Fridge. I loved the Bed as it was very comfortable. The Wifi was great with a very strong Signal. The TV in my Single room was a lot bigger than expected so this was a big bonus. The room was a bit hot so I had the fan at 100% the whole stay with my window open. A/C would have been nice but the room was very reasonably priced so you cant expect miracles. The place was flawlessly clean and this included the Shared Bathroom and Toilets. The shared Kitchen area was a bit run down but I only needed it for water as my room had a microwave Kettle Toaster & Fridge, overall I was very happy and will stay there again. I travelled there to play Squash in a Tournament :) There was actually nothing I didnt like, it was a bright clean friendly place that has been nicely refurbished, my only wish to be honest would be to have Air Conditioning, as the room was very hot for the 2 days I stayed, but as I said earlier, the price was very friendly, so you cant expect miracles :)

- Marcus (9/5): Outstandingly good in terms value for money, cleanliness, and overall comfort! - A kind of hidden gem in Newcastle further to these premises being secluded in Carrington, while despite this splendid and unpretentious hotel being a little off the proverbial beaten track, it's absolutely superb when it comes to value for money, cleanliness, and comfort. Nothing to fault at all - despite some minimal early morning noise emanating from a nearby freight train railway hub, while you can request a room that is more on the south west side of the building.

-Parking: Plentiful free street parking.
-Facilities: Basic but comfortable; beds were comfy.
-Amenities: Extra pillows available. -Privacy: Housekeeping entered our room unexpectedly one morning, days before our check out date.
-Noise: Pub, train and boat noise (may affect light sleepers).
-Kitchen: No stove/oven, but there is a sandwich maker, toaster, microwave and fridge.

- Lilou (8/5): Très bien pour un passage - Sa nouveauté L’insonorisation n’est pas assez efficace pour un bar + manque de Clim

- Manoj (10/5): Had a great stay! Everything went smoothly, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. -
- Breanna (9/5): Convenient, plentiful on street parking and quiet. - We stayed in room 5. It was really quiet at the end of the hall and the shared bathrooms were very clean as all the guests using them,.tidied after themselves. The window had a screen so it was nice to have the window open to have a bit of breeze coming in the room. We appreciated the bar staff checking us in and taking us upstairs to the room on arrival. 2 min walk to great cafes including the diner and pavilion as well as the gin distillery. Pizzas at the pub were exceptional. We would stay again. Thank you. No fan or climate control in the room. It could be hot in summer, but we stayed in spring so it was pleasant.

- Peter (10/5): Hard to fault for the price - Old style pub with traditional hotel facilities Not much
- Jones (10/5): - The whole atmosphere was amazing, something I'll never forget, even though it was near the ports I didn't hear much noise inside and the room was exceptionally clean Nothing
- Adonis (9/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): -
- Garry (10/5): At the Seven Seas we found our perfect port of call. - We liked the communal kitchen, the outdoor upstairs area, the bath in the shared bathroom, the size of our room, the lounge chair in our room, the bicycle lock up facility outside the hotel, the fridge, the ceiling fans and large wardrobes in our room. Everything was perfect, we felt very safe there

- Alicia (8/5): - Price location clean quiet reasonably Didn't fix light bulb

- Joshua (9/5): Prima! - Het personeel was super behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Bar eronder is gezellig en heerlijke drankjes van de tap.

- Damon (9/5): - Very comfy beds, decent size fridge and TV as well. Very clean rooms, kitchen and bathroom and was quiet with a great bistro downstairs Not much...
- Florent (7/5): Cool - Le personnel L’emplacement
- Cooper (5/5): Clean and quite, dodgy showers - Clean rooms, quite even with the pub busy, comfortable beds The showers are a shocker, I’ve traveled lots for work and stayed in many pubs and budget accommodation. The showers aren’t flash or very clean but the main gripe is the water constantly changing from boiling hot to freezing cold no matter what I tried or time of day
- Paul (10/5): - Clean and comfortable
- Raven (7/5): -
- Sara (5/5): Room for improvement. - Great location, comfortable mattress. No soap offered. Kettle supplied in room but no tea or coffee. Maybe jug of cold water in the fridge. It’s the little things that make a stay comfortable.
Can hear other guests coming and going and only two bathrooms between 12 rooms.
- Menke (6/5): Was good value for money - Was a good bed and mostly quiet. No place to clean up dishes etc, room was not cleaned daily so rubbish bins were full.
