• Stefanie (1/5): Unangemessenes Verhalten vom Gastgeber - Während meines Aufenthalts betrat ich das gemeinschaftlich genutzte Gästebad und traf dort den Gastgeber an, der bei unverschlossener Tür masturbierte. Dadurch fühlte ich mich in der Unterkunft äußerst unwohl und unsicher. Ich kontaktierte noch während meines Aufenthalts den Kundenservice von Booking.com und entschied mich schließlich dazu, die Unterkunft vorzeitig zu verlassen und für die Nacht eine andere Unterkunft zu buchen. Ich möchte diese Bewertung bewusst sachlich halten, damit zukünftige Gäste über meine Erfahrung informiert sind.

• CARLA (6/5): - L'emplacement est idéal pour prendre son avion tôt le lendemain et terminer au restaurant avec une vue océan. La chambre nécessiterait un véritable nettoyage de printemps : il y avait énormément de poussière et la présence de deux cafards près du lit nous a particulièrement déplu. La salle de bain mériterait également d’être entièrement rénovée. Les joints de la douche sont très abîmés et le tapis de bain devrait être remplacé. De plus, il n’y avait plus de gel douche lorsque nous avons voulu nous doucher. À noter également que la chambre ne communique pas directement avec la salle de bain. Une porte coulissante sépare l’espace chambre/salle de bain de la cuisine et du salon, ce qui peut entraîner des nuisances sonores si vous vous couchez tôt. Enfin, la chambre se ferme avec un petit cadenas qui paraît assez fragile. Nous déconseillons donc d’y laisser des effets personnels de valeur en cas d’absence. Au vu de l’état général du logement, la note de 9,2 nous semble largement surévaluée. Nous attribuerions plutôt une note autour de 6,5/10.
• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful stay at Papa Totë delux, we would definitely stay here again. - Coke the owner was amazing, he collected us from the airport and also dropped us off at our next destination. He was very polite and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. The property’s location is very good, turn left out of the property and you have a mall including supermarket, turn right and you will find the promenade and a few restaurants. The property was lovely and had everything we needed, the room was comfortable as was the bed. We have no complaints.

The owner Coke collected me from the airport for a small additional charge. The owner Coke spoke good English and was very helpful. Transport service from / to the airport at demand. Property is clean. The room is too small ( 3 x 2 m ), the terrace / balcony is too small. The toilet is not ensuite, it's outside of the room.

• Joanna (9/5): Comfortable and clean, home from home in a quiet area - A quiet location rather than a tourist spot, Playa Honda beach is peaceful with dog walkers and joggers in the morning and a few small restaurants with views out over the sea. Mainly residential with a good shopping centre and a Spar, it was an ideal break as close to a main dual carriageway and bus stops. The property is set in a quiet residential area. It is modern, well-kept and feels like staying at a friend's place rather than just a rental. Kitchen well equipped, bathrooms very clean and a small outside seating area at the front under a pretty flowering vine. Instructions on how to work the upmarket bean-to-cup coffee machine would have been handy.

Siempre están dispuestos a ayudar y orientarte en lo que sea que necesites, lo que vale oro si es tu primera visita a la isla. Recomendado 💯 El único detalle, fue encontrar el suelo de la habitación con un poco de arena y algunas migas de comida. De resto, todo bastante limpio y ordenado.

• Peter (8/5): - Bei der Buchung wurde ausdrücklich angegeben, dass Bad und WC privat und ausschließlich für mich nutzbar sind. Vor Ort stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass sich diese auf dem Flur befanden und offenbar auch von anderen Gästen genutzt wurden. Besonders unangenehm war, dass die Toilette am Morgen bei meiner Nutzung nicht sauber war und noch deutliche Spuren vom vorherigen Benutzer vorhanden waren. Das entspricht weder der Beschreibung noch den Erwartungen an ein privates Bad.

• Marie Laure (10/5): Bonne adresse avant le décollage. - Chambre et salle de bain privative dans une maison de 4 logements. Donc cuisine, salon et terrasse en commun. Le propriétaire est venu au bout de 5 minutes nous apporter les clés et nous expliquer la chambre. A 10 min à pied d'une très belle plage et restaurants. Et à 45 min à pied de l'aéroport sur une piste cyclable. Salle de bain moderne. Lit confortable. La chambre est petite et très peu place pour poser ces affaires.

The host couldn't have been nice, nothing was to much trouble from picking us up at the airport, giving us recommends for places to eat, storing our luggage on departure day then going above and beyond and taking us to our next destination dropping us at the door! • bea (8/5): Nette Unterkunft für kurze Zeit, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - Das Doppelzimmer befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eines kleinen Reihenhauses in einem Wohngebiet Die Lage des kleinen Hostels ist ruhig, nicht weit vom Meer und gut zu erreichen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die von allen nutzbare Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch gibt es eine nette kleine Lobby und einen Hof, der genutzt werden kann. Für ein bis zwei Nächte ist das Zimmer gut geeignet, für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist es zu klein und hat zu wenig Privatsphäre. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, hellhörig und liegt neben der für alle zugänglichen Küche… in unserer Zeit sind Gäste gegen 5 Uhr abgereist, dadurch wurden wir geweckt, was sehr einschränkend ist.

• Susanne (9/5): Schönes Hostel direkt am Flughafen - Playa Hondo war wesentlich ansprechender und charmanter als ich erwartet habe. Wäre der Flughafen nicht ganz so nah, würde ich es auch für längere Aufenthalte empfehlen. Das gleiche gilt für das Hostel. Es ist super schön und sauber, die Hosts sind lieb und unkompliziert, die Lage in Playa Honda ist gut - eigentlich perfekt. Mich persönlich stört der Flughafen aber genug, dass ich nicht mehr als 1-2 Tage dort verbringen würde. Falls jemanden der Flughafen nicht stört: buchen! Man muss sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass Playa Honda direkt neben dem Flughafen liegt, d.h. der Fluglärm ist entsprechend laut und am Strand riecht es stellenweise nach Kerosin und Gummiabrieb (vermutlich je nach Windrichtung mal stärker und mal weniger stark). Die Nähe zum Flughafen hat natürlich den Vorteil, dass man vom Hostel aus in unter 30 Minuten zum Terminal laufen kann. Für den Abreisetag also perfekt.

• Evelyn (9/5): - Es war ein bisschen wie nach Hause kommen. Es gab einen sehr netten Empfang und eine super ausgestattete Küche, ein bequemes Bett und eine großzügige Terrasse. Für den Meerblick musste man zwar etwas genauer hinschauen, aber es war alles perfekt. Playa Hondo hat einen tollen Strand und nette Lokale. Für die eine Nacht gab es nichts zu meckern. Vielleicht könnte man noch mal etwas besser Staub wischen, aber das war nicht störend. Hingegen hörte man die vielen Flugzeuge schon, aber das ist ja logisch, wenn man die Nähe zum Flughafen sucht.
