Guest Reviews
- Alistair (5/5): Passable -
- Steven (5/5): Passable - No TV reception, No internet, no BBQ
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Very sweet cosy cottage. There was no hair dryer
- Kirsten (8/5): Very good - It’s a beautiful location. Wonderful views, lots to do in the area. Love the sense of history in the cottage. It’s very comfortable with a great bath. The toilet wasn’t flushing when we were there. Also, we left the property just before check out time and received a text right on check out saying ‘You’re late. Hand back the keys’. It seemed very rude and left a bad taste after a great weekend.
- Claudia (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location, super cosy A little dusty and would be nice to have an extra blanket in winter 🥶
- Geoff (6/5): Good location but very small and underequipped cottage - Its in a wonderful location and the cottage itself with its old thick walls and rustic charm was very appealing The cottage is very small and quite cramped. Of course, there is very little the hosts can do about this, but it did make it quite difficult to move around the living and eating area and to get to the cupboards and fridge and to move the chairs around the dining table. We mostly ate outside with its wonderful view, so we largely worked around this.
Also the cottage is very sparsely equipped. Again we managed but a coffee plunger would have been handy and a few more cooking implements would have been nice and some storage space for groceries would have been useful.
I think it was overpriced for what it offered.
- Schmackna (9/5): Superb - Very clean and quiet. Great location and very basic which suited my needs NO BBQ! One of the main selling points for me was the availability of a BBQ. Extremely disappointed to find no BBQ at the property
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
