- Chris (7/5): Hop Skip Cottage Review We gave it 7 out of 10. - The location was good, nice and quiet. The cottage is spacious and reasonably comfortable for its age. *Water pressure to shower is very poor. Oven hotplates could be a problem if you have young children as they stay extremely hot for a long period after turning them off. We gave it 7 out of 10. Would have given 8, but water pressure to shower is poor 😫.

- John (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed time here while visiting the Augusta area. - Everything was clean and fresh. Bed and lounge we’re very comfortable. Plenty of room in the dining and living area. Kitchen was small but adequate with good appliances. Laundry was spacious too. IF you like gourmet cooking the kitchen may be too small. Firewood took ages to light (we have a wood heater at home, so are used to lighting them), however the oil heaters worked well, so not a real problem.
