• Sharon (8/5): Nice hotel , pretty basic but still good - Great value for money! Clean, spacious room and everything was modern and highly maintained. We were just there for a night so for it it served perfectly A little far from the center but we had a car so all was well.

• Ines (5/5): Painful night - Nice pool and garden. We stayed only one night at this hotel, but unfortunately it was quite uncomfortable. The blackout curtains did not block the light properly, and by 6 a.m. the room was already completely bright, making it impossible to continue sleeping. There was also no sound insulation at all — we could clearly hear cars passing on the road and people talking outside during the night. Breakfast also felt disappointing for the price paid. We had to choose from a predefined menu, the coffee was from a machine, and the buffet only offered cereal. Overall, we felt the experience did not match the value charged.
• Franziska (9/5): Kommen gern wieder! - Toller Pool, schöne grosse Zimmer. Sehr entspannte Umgebung und nettes Personal. Gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt und ein paar Kaninchen als Haustiere im Innenhof. Zudem ist der bewachte Parkplatz sehr vorteilig. In einigen Lokalitäten gibt es 15% Rabatt auf Speisen! Wir hatten eine Küche und uns grösstenteils selbst verpflegt, was sehr gut geklappt hat mit der Ausstattung vor Ort. Das angebotene Frühstück war auch echt lecker :). Die Lage war etwas abseits.

• Andrea (8/5): - Lovely hotel and good service at the check in, restaurant and good breakfast included on our stay. We got a massage while there and it was by far the worst part of the stay. It was on the expensive side for a massage based on prices we saw around Jaco but since it was right there in the hotel we opted for the convenience. The ladies there clearly didn't want to be there, they asked no questions on level of pressure or any injuries /things to be aware of. Also there were a bunch of pauses in which we could tell they were busy talking to each other. Do not waste your money on that part of the amenities.
• Zoe (7/5): Pretty decent value but a disappointing pool! - Had the feel of a hotel with the comforts of an apartment. Breakfast (included in the rate) was pretty good. Safe and easy parking. Easy 10min walking distance or short 2min drive to Jaco main strip. Washer and dryer were great. The pool and chairs were shadowed by the building for almost all of the day. We were looking forward to a lazy pool day but it’s really more of a “quick dip” kinda pool. The room was also not very clean.. the plates and cutlery were very sticky and visibly dirty, and there were tiny little ants through the kitchen.

Tienen un 15% de descuento en algunos restaurantes cercanos. Falta algo más para distraerse de noche sin tener que salir del hotel (juegos tipo pol, ping-pong, un casito, mini-market, juegos electrónicos, etc.). La piscina super fria (la misma construcción hace que no le pegue el sol, el jacuzzi no funciona). Internet muy inestable.

• alonso (7/5): Nice place but could not sleep well - The place is clean, has a safe parking lot, the appartment is nice, wifi was good. Breakfast was better than usual. Beds by the pool were nice. I did not sleep well on both nights because too much light comes into the room in the morning and the bed left me back pain. The gym was pretty bad and we ended up not using even though it was on our plans. The location is a bit too far to walk to the beach and not safe at night. Pool area is kind of boring and kids can be loud sometimes.

The pool was nice and clean. The food at Moby's was amazing eveyday with fresh fruit. My only complaint is that the bathroom lights are too dim for hair and makeup purposes. Other than that, it was a dream vacation.

• Lori (8/5): - Overall, it's a very nice hotel near the beach. The staff were all friendly and super helpful. The authentic, local breakfast choices were good, and the hotel was clean and well-maintained. The noise from the pool can be noisy during the day and early evening, but things normally quieted down between 7:00-8:00 pm. Some things that could be improved include adding full-length mirrors in each room, an iron and ironing board, a broom to go along with the dust pan, and dishwasher tabs for use with the dishwasher. My only negative is the location. There's no beauty surrounding this hotel. In fact, the area is a little grimy-looking. So, if you want a hotel surrounded by scenic views or only 2-3 blocks from the beach, this isn't the place for you. Despite that, we never felt unsafe walking around. Also, there really isn't anything to do within walking distance other than walk about 5-10 minutes to the main strip, which is essentially a tourist trap of restaurants, souvenir shops, and bars. If we hadn't gone on tours every day, there wouldn't have been anything to do but hang out in our room or at the pool. But, we're not surfers, bar hoppers, or people who want to be at the beach nonstop. If I were ever to return to Jaco, I'd stay here again. But if I ever return to Costa Rica, I'd probably stay in San Jose where there are more family-friendly and walkable activities and just take transportation to any desired activities in or near Jaco.

• Linda (8/5): - Oceano Boutique is a great place to stay for those who do not want to be on the Main Street of downtown Jaco. It is within walking distance to all restaurants and shopping within the downtown area. The walls are thin, so you can hear noise from neighboring rooms. Other than that, the hotel was a great place to stay.

• Herrera Bolaños (9/5): Excelente! - Limpio, equipado con lo básico, me gusto mucho las instalaciones, el play para niños, es una gran ayuda para q se entretengan, y la comida me pareció deliciosa! En mi opinión muy personal, queda un poco largo trasladarse hasta la playa, caminando y cargando cosas y niños, esto debido a q no tengo carro y tuve q hacerlo así, pero por lo demás me pareció genial!

Our room faced the city which was very noisy with road traffic throughout the night. Recommend an interior room that faces the pool to help decrease the road noise.

Books and an expensive event, then they changed the date to our last day there, and put us into a car that should have been headed to the salvage yard, not the national park. After a few minutes, we insisted that the driver return us to the hotel. After refusing to allow us to speak with management, we were given a partial refund. Disappointing is an understatement!

They also had a security guard out at night. Pet friendly hotel too.
