Guest Reviews
- Malak (9/5): -
- Fiona (8/5): - I had two different emails regarding check in.. The apartment was changed on the day. I did see the first apartment that was originally allocated and it was better than the one I was given. The sofa bed was much better. I was cold for the first night as only one blanket supplied.
- Jingyuan (9/5): - 设施 员工态度不好
- Selma (7/5): It was fine for a short stay - The location was good Front entrance key code didn't work, microwave didn't work and internet didn't work.
Also the $25 a day parking was unexpected.
- Joseph (8/5): Adequate for a good price. - There is a hot tub and gym on site. The free shuttle bus to Upper Village and Whistler is right in front, so you don’t have to carry your skis far. Like many places in Whistler, these big complexes no longer have reception or people to greet you. Everything is Airbnb-esque, anonymous and lots of codes. The unit itself is adequate, but devoid of charm. The pull-out mattress is comfortable. The king-size mattress is a little on the cheap side.
- Jasmine (5/5): - The location was great, 2 minute walk to the Blackcomb Gondola or a lovely 15 minute stroll to Whistler Village which we enjoyed. The bed was rock solid and not comfortable at all, normally I’m not one to complain about this but for a ski trip it was super difficult to get a good sleep which was a shame but not the end of the world. The room didn’t seem to have a thorough clean before our arrivals, we found lots of hairs through out the room, the bathroom trash was not emptied, and our towels and some bedding had stains or marks on them which made us question if they had been washed.
- Emese (5/5): - Remote access was nice. The hot tub and sauna were also a plus. The unit was really dated. Old couches and furniture. It was noisy with people coming and going right in the front. Being in the front of the property the blinds could be made to allow more privacy. They provided one bag of coffee and no tea at all or sugar. The soap and lotion were not the best quality at all either.
- Alison (4/5): Zero guest comforts despite high price - Location and pool/hot tub. For the price we paid (highest we’ve paid thanks to additional fees) it was the cheapest experience we’ve had in Whistler. One towel per person with no way to get more for the pool, no coffee, no paper towels, cold water in pool showers, etc.
- Scott (8/5): - Good location bus into whistler village out front Too hot heater puts out heat even when not turned on. No staff and not much information on property
- Antonini (10/5): -
- Eliana (9/5): Great stay, and perfect for what we needed on a short notice. - I like the hassle free check in. The swiming pool and hot tub were a nice size! Kitchen was fully stocked with the essentials. Loved that the bus stop was just outside the building. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the property. I would come back. The property is outdated, especially the carpet and bedding (though I can see the appeal during winter)
I also wish pool towels were provided, at least one per person.
- nhidalgob (8/5): - Faltaba aire acondicionado y lad cortinas del living no tapaban la luz.
- Martine (9/5): -
- Vrána (5/5): -
- Sonia (7/5): -
- David (9/5): - Everything is close by. Parking options around the property.
- Cheryl (7/5): Good for a couple for a short break. - The air-conditioning unit is old and did not cool the main room very well. In the bedroom we kept the patio door open at night so it was cool.
- Yuliia (5/5): Passable -
- Asanga (7/5): Good -
- Santos (8/5): Clean and just the right space for the 2 of us - The apt was spacious and clean and 5mins walk to Gondola There was no staffs to ask for
- Lockhart (7/5): Good -
- C (6/5): Pleasant - The bed was very comfortable & there was a balcony. The decor was nice. Kitchen bath were good The insect screen needs fixing & the carpet or drapes were harboring a residual odor. We aired out the suite to fix this but we recommend changing the drapes, shower curtain .
- Marnie (7/5): Comfortable and good price but dated. - The suite was a good size, comfortable and good price. Location was perfect. The suite was very dated and could use some renovations.
- Tim (8/5): As advertised, great facilities and close to slopes. - The dome over the jacuzzi is unique, the sauna is a nice touch. This a good deal for a short walk to the slopes Kitchen pans and cutlery are basic. This is a minor complaint. The condo is a great deal. I have stayed in the building several times.
- Anton (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (7/5): Okay, but would not be my first choice for a future stay. - The place was clean and had a kitchen. The sofa bed was terrible, not at all comfortable. The main bed was okay. There was only one comforter, would have been great to have 2. Not very many towels for a stay of 3 days. Paying for parking was not ideal. It was expensive.
- Graham (3/5): Frustrating with no human on site, no place to store luggage and a complex key code system. -
- Beltgens (8/5): Very good -
- Vladimir (9/5): Superb -
- Dio (9/5): Superb -
- Gord (4/5): Won’t be staying at the Marquise again… - Not much… Pepper shaker only - no salt
Broken tile in bath
Small shampoo, No conditioner
Noisy halls
Tepid water - takes a long time
Fireplace didn’t work
No USB ports
Crappy old furniture
Wifi name and password wrong on welcome sheet.
No A/C
Decor very dated (original)
- Zuniga (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noel (7/5): Good -
- Juan (8/5): Very good - Thought the pay parking was in the garage and not on a different floor. Figured it out. The room itself was somewhat dated but they set that expectation with the pictures that were published. I would go back.
- Robbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (5/5): over-priced - quiet location and quiet neighbours only two windows opened in the unit and it was a hot weekend. Pool was dirty (all dead bugs) and there were not enough deck chairs. My door code did not work upon arrival and I had to wait then call and get new codes.
- Njsee (1/5): Worst Place in Whistler to Stay! Needs to be delisted! - The place should be delisted from Booking.com. This place is undergoing a major renovation, and has construction going on from 8am till 6-7pm. There is building materials and debris left around in the hallways, without any care for the guests. As I understand it, this is mostly owners who rent out there units when they are not there. In this case, an owner had no intentions of staying there during such a noisy period, and offloaded it to an unsuspecting guest. The room was in a bad state of repair, the curtains did not work, the patio door fell off and the whole building smelt like it had been flooded before, or had water damage. I would not stay here again if it was free. The management staff were also very unpleasant and uncaring about the issues i encountered.
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Pleasant enough place. Convenient to walk into Whistler village. 4 pm check in and 10 am check out. Very stuffy when we arrived. Doors which didn’t close without banging them (bathroom) and an alarm in hallway which continued for 24 hours
- Tim (7/5): Good -
- Vladimir (9/5): Superb -
- Waylene (8/5): Very good -
- Douglas (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Patricia (9/5): Superb - Loved the location
- Diwata (9/5): It was relaxing and convenient. - Keyless entry Unit wasn't cleaned properly. We found items under the sofa bed, an empty bag of Doritos under the bed. Bathroom sink is not draining properly. Housekeeping didn't have extra sheets to cover the folding bed. So I'm doubting now the level of cleanliness of surfaces. However, the bed is very comfortable. It didn't give me back pains
- Viorel (9/5): Great place to stay in Whistler! - It was a clean and spacious place to stay. The information about bicycle storage and facilities was not clearly specified in the message, it was ambiguous.
- Karly (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (8/5): Convenient and comfortable - good layout with spacious living room and bedroom. comfortable. we had to fix the tv before it could be used. we also had to fix the sliding doors which took over an hour. no air conditioning. parking fee was higher than advertised.
- Jane (3/5): Do not rent in summer has no air conditioning, room too hot. Fans broken - Location was great. Quite area.
Bed was soft and comfortable but the pillows were old and lumpy. Room was too hot. Did not have air conditioning in the room, the fireplace pilot light was on making the place warmer. They had 3 fans to use and 2 of rhem were broken.
The pillows are old and lumpy and should be replaced.
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - Great location A little warm in the room. No staff on site
- Jake (7/5): Good - Decor gave a homely feeling. Spacious apartment The unit was very hot (heaters had been turned on) and the provided fans were broken. 4pm check-in is very late, especially given they don't provide a luggage hold facility.
- Charlotte (10/5): brilliant will return in future - beautiful property good location, lovely pool, very clean room the sliding door on bathroom was a bit annoying and stiff at times
- Moira (9/5): Excellent self catering accomodation, quiet and peaceful but close to ski lifts . - Good size apartment with good facilities To have had Air conditioning
- Vladimir (9/5): Superb -
- Anja (10/5): Exceptional - walking distance to Blackcomb Gondola; ski-in/ski-out when enough snow
- Sibylle (8/5): all good - can opener broken, towel rack needs repair
- Branislav (7/5): Pleasant stay, clean condo, good location. - The location and the rooms were good Paid parking - the condo should come with the parking included. It is silly to go each day to the lobby to use the pay machine to pay for parking. The bathroom could use some maintenance (door was not closing well and shower head needs some improvement).
- Rosenmann (5/5): It was just OK - The link to access the code to enter the property and unit. Had to travel to another property to get a printed copy. The unit had an unpleasant odor so we had to buy a cented candle to burn.
- Lynsey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): I enjoyed my stay here! - comfortable, clean, good value, spacious no extra towels provided for hot tub/pool
- Big (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (5/5): Passable - Good location, nice place, and decent amenities (bike storage, pool/hot tub). We had to check in at a different hotel. I didn't know this for the first hour, so I ended up walking around the whole place trying to find a reception area, before calling the number and finally having them pick up (tried 2x previously).
I was given a laundry list of rules, and told there is bike storage on level P2. Level P2 doesn't exist, but rather in the P level there is a gate labeled P2. An hour of searching the hotel we finally found that. We had to pay for parking in an empty garage, which I thought was kind of strange, but otherwise stay was fine.
- Keith (8/5): Dripping AC unit - Well laid out unit. Good location. Dripping water from AC next door unit kept us awake at night. Need to get Strata committee to address with next door unit.
- Celesteoakes (9/5): Superb - The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The balcony is too small to use and there is no furniture. The pool had no towels and there were no pool towels in the room either. I would rate the pool and area as just average.
- Markyn (1/5): Bad - When we arrived the room was not clean, bed was not made, dirty kitchen, garbages on the floor washroom was dirty too. I called the front desk to switch us with another room, but said that no room i
Available for us. We need to wait 1.5 hr for the room to get cleaned. The front desk was apologetic and keep saying that we will be compensated but no compensation happened. Also the front desk is in another building so if you need toilet tissue or shampoo you have to get it on your own-get out of the building and drive for 3mins. I would not recommend this property at all of ever go back.
