• Davies (5/5): - Check-in was easy and male receptionist offered a king room upgrade whereas we'd booked a queen suite. The bed was great - supportive and comfortable. Cleanliness - no attention to detail - very dirty venetian blinds, cobwebs & spiders.

• Lisa (6/5): It’s great location and centralised in blue mountain. Save you lots of time to travel to everywhere. But facilities are - Great location, walking distance to 3 sisters and local RSL. There’s pool table for play as well. There’s sauna room but not very interested. The facility are bit old, all furniture are old. Bathroom exhaust fan not working. Small tv basically just leave for the sake of it not worth to look at it at computer screen size at 4 meters away. Breakfast is very limited choice and every day are same. I arrived at 3-4pm on the day, there’s no one at reception. I had to call the hotel number and it transferred to a mobile. I waited for the hotel manager for 20 mins then finally I can go to my room.

• Sue (6/5): The place is a little run down. Could be better with a few simple tweaks. - Was a bed and a shower and breakfast. A warm welcome would have been nice on arrival. Unfortunately the hospitality was shown on our departure, a conversation and a goodbye with a chat. Some tinned fruit on the breakfast buffet, to have with cereal and yoghurt, would have been nice instead of an apple.

Would have liked cutlery/crockery and a microwave in the room. Did have to wait at reception for quite a while after calling staff to check in.

• Braden (5/5): Good stay - Great place to stay. For me the double bed was very uncomfortable. The springs were very weak in the middle so I was not able to sleep on it, I changed to firm single bed and got a good nights rest.

What attracted me to book is the age of the property - it has wonderful character, yet the bathrooms were modern and sparkling clean, and the rooms smelled fresh. • Laura (8/5): Pleasant Stay. - The location was excellent. Great to walk from to see the Three Sisters and nice waterfalls. The room was large, shower was nice. Nice to have a selection of pillows. Front desk staff was very kind and chatty. The bed was rather hard on my side…I could feel the springs. My husbands side was fine (two twin mattresses put together to firm a king bed) The breakfast was a kind gesture, but very basic. Bread with butter, peanut butter or marmalade, a basket of apples, cold cereal, juice, coffee and tea. Not really worth the up charge for breakfast

• Lucy (5/5): Basic accommodation but does the trick for one night. - Dated but clean accommodation. Bathroom good. Very thin walls so heard EVERYTHING from neighbouring room. Breakfast forgettable. Coffee undrinkable. No staff on site so you need to call and wait for someone to turn up by car to check in etc. Not sure how that works in an emergency or if you wanted to ask something 20 mins after arrival as literally no one about.

• Milton (8/5): Nice hotel near the sights - Very nice hotel with great facilities. Rooms were comfortable (bed was very comfortable). We had just arrived after a 20+ hour flight schedule and taken the train up to the Blue Mountains. They let us check in early which was great. There is a bus stop just a few meters from the hotel with cheap transport to town, and the ‘tourist sites’ (walkable to the Echo Point lookout). Great as we found it difficult to find a taxi or rideshare from the station, but we have an Opal Card anyway. The restaurant and bar was closed. We didn’t use the continental breakfast.

Zudem haben wir die schöne Landschaft genossen. - Die Unterkunft befand sich an einer sehr guten Stelle, um Wanderungen in dem Naturschutzgebiet Blue Mountains gut zu unternehmen und war außerdem sehr gut gelegen. Auf unsere Anliegen wurde schnell und gut eingegangen. Toll war, dass wir unseren Wagen in einer Garage unterbringen konnten. Wir waren zufrieden.
