- Cihan (6/5): - Afstand naar istiklal straat Foto's waren genomen toen het nieuw was denk ik. Toen in huis in liep rook ik gelijk dat er ervoor gerookt was in kamer. Er waren in badkamer wat roest en schimmel plekken. Bed was goed maar banken hadden allemaal brand gaatjes door roken. Kamer was 70% schoon je had plekken waar stoffen waren opgehoopt. Airco was ook niet helemaal fris meer. En als je met gezin gaat raad ik het helemaal af omdat buiten muziek tot minimaal 2 uur in de nacht doorgaat.

- Amrah (10/5): Excellent location, peaceful rest, friendly staff - We stayed here with my girlfriend for a one day trip. The rooms were newly renovated, and the service was updated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. One of the best parts was that restaurants and markets were very close by. The location was great and very central. I will definitely come back here again.

- oke (10/5): - I love the location, 2 mins to Istiklal St, in the middle between Taksim Square and Galata Tower. The room is clean and quite big, fits us with 3 kids. The day we checked out there were protest, polices blocked mostly all alleys in Istiklal street, but we didnt have issued out to the airport and got transportation, Mr Reza and the hotel's manager arranged everyting including spoke to the police supervisor in charge, they are very care about their guest.

Furthermore, it is a pleasant walk downhill to the Topane T1 tram station. However, on the way back, its best to take the tunnel from Karakoy to Galata, and walk down Istiklal Street. The receptionist has very limited knowledge of english, and while the owner is very flexible if you reach out to him, the receptionist is a bit strict with everything. So if you have any special requests, best to touch base with the owner directly. The place is neat and tidy, and it was a pleasure to stay there.

- David (2/5): - There were two severe problems: 1. On our last day, an intense sewer smell engulfed the entire apartment. It made sleeping, eating and bathing nearly impossible, and felt absolutely unsanitary. We weren’t notified about this problem or the attempts to fix it, we only found out fixes were being attempted when we asked the attendant. It was still smelling disgusting by the time we left. 2. The bathroom door knob was broken, and “fixed” with an elastic band. A previous reviewer mentioned getting stuck in the bathroom, but no serious repair was made. This can’t be fire-safe! Otherwise, the apartment was dingy but usable. The wifi, A/C, laundry service and elevator were all satisfactory. There were some stains and damage, and little shelf space. But the attendants made water bottles available for free! The area is cute if touristy. Many good restaurant options around. It's a little loud at night, but that's to be expected in this area.
- Sarah (4/5): - We looked up this hotel and the pictures painted a different scene. This was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation instead ended up being an uncomfortable 10 days. The 2 rooms we booked were both very disappointing in size and cleanliness. By the second night me and my 9 other family members got sick from all the dust and mold in the rooms. We spent half our vacation in bed rest due to the uncleanliness. We ended up purchasing our own cleaning supplies and cleaned both rooms. Even after taking the time to clean there was still a sewage smell that would overwhelm the rooms. The windows and doors would have to stay open in order to be able to eat, sleep or relax. My father ended up stuck in the restroom for 2 hours because the door handle came apart. There was no water the 1st night and we lost power the last night. The safe box would not open so we were forced to walk around with our money and passports the 1st two days. When you are traveling with 10 people a safe box in the rooms is very important. The host was able to get us a replacement but we had to install and mount it ourselves. The fridge and burners are outdated. We ended up having a fridge water leak on the 3rd floor and my sister’s luggage and clothes were damaged. The burner stopped functioning and had to be replaced. My over all review is very dissatisfied, the amount of money spent was not worth the stay. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

It was very walkable to the tram stop and only a block away from Istiklal street with many, many restaurant and shopping options, including many big Western names. The room was clean and spacious enough. The furnishings were beautiful. Great deal for the price.

I’m Very disappointed with this place for few reasons … I booked it after reading the reviews … which I don’t know who wrote & WHY ? v supposiddly got the DELUX room which was completely different from the pics on booking.com … pics showed a kitchen & 2 bedrooms which is what I needed for my family of 5 but they surprised me with a room with a lot of unnecessary things stuffed together ,,, v had a small double bed with bunk bed in the corner which is not mentioned in the booking …huge dining table & thn another coffee table which has taken all the space ,,, no space to put bags even so v put our suitcases on the dining table & this very unpleasant smell in the room 🤢….…& oh the mosquitoes 🦟 around … so if u decide to book it don’t forget mosquito repellent…this hotel is in extremely narrow alleyway & very very dirty with trash Everywhere… the ONLY good thing is it’s a short walk from taksim squares hustle bustle …but mums with toddlers should not book it as pushing the buggy is impossible in the street …the guy in the reception was unhelpful … he refused to provide us a bottle of water even with money that v offered with 100s of bottles in the reception saying this water is for office only( piles & piles of packed bottles) … don’t get ur expectations high from this place . But maybe if they can change the setting of the room to a bit more simple style & remove the bulky furniture .. it will look better & practical.. the bed is very uncomfortable & I took paracetamol every morning after waking up in the morning. I have been to turkey many times & always had ironing facilities in hotels AND apartments but charging 300 liras for ironing of 2 cotton dresses in this 1 is ridiculous….& be ready to be greeted by cockroaches just outside the door …. It’s good for a couple but not family ( at least the room I got ) Another negative is a very bad WiFi reception .,,, in fact no WiFi .
- Robiul (7/5): Ideal for single or walking couples - The hotel/apartments are very centrally located, it's literally adjacent to Istiklal Cd. Cleaner lady and staff were nice and pleasant. Closeby to cafe and corner shop for small purchases. They have air conditioning that worked fine. They also offered free cases of 500ml water bottles as the temperature outside was around 32c everyday. Room had a mini fridge with an ice compartment, which was very helpful. The street is on a huge slope with clobbles it was near impossible to manage with kids and a buggy. The room was on the small side compared to the photos. The bedroom has a king size bed but literally no walking space around it. The bed was ok. Pillows could do with changing. Kettle needs changing or a serious scrub.

- Stanislav (4/5): - It wasn't a great stay. The good is the walkable area. The bad is the apartment itself - it's too small for two people, the furniture is old and broken, the bathroom smells foul, the wifi disappears every few minutes (can't really have a work zoom call or watch TV), the A/C is too weak during hot weather, no real cooking stove or laundry in the apartment unlike advertised, and finally the loud church bell by the window wakes you up at 8am. We moved out early (no refund was provided), and moved to a much better apartment nearby.

- Zhanna (10/5): - I spent a wonderful week with my besties in May 2024 at this property. Our suite was very clean, cozy and comfortable. The management was very helpful, very friendly and very quick to assist when needed. They provided us with extra clean towels, cleaning services and whatever we asked them. We were finally able to get an honest taxi rate in Istanbul because the Dorne guys helped us arrange a taxi ride. I highly recommend.

- Rim (10/5): - The place was perfect for our stay in Istanbul, and the staff were wonderful and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel welcome and at ease, and were always kind and attentive. The place was very cozy, colorful, and perfect for a couple staying in Istanbul. It is also walking distance to the metro station, and to Istiklal street, with access to numerous shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and grocery stores. Despite being so central and close to everything, we did not struggle with loud noise at night or any other issues during our stay. Big thanks to the staff who made our stay a great experience, we would definitely consider this place for our next visit to Istanbul!!

- Chrishando (10/5): - The property is as you see in the pictures. It was well thought out and has everything you need. The communication from the host is slow and often no one it as reception. The room smelled of smoke as people smoke in front and our room was at the bottom. The location is ideal as you are walking distance from everything but parking is a nightmare. You need to pay and some charge exorbitant fees for you to park.

- Raheel (10/5): - I stayed there with kids for 1 night. We had a lovely time there . The host Raza was very welcoming . The property is very well located, walking distance to Istiklal street with everything near ur doorstep. The room was good size with kitchen and dining table and a big Tv . The only thing I would recommend is better ventilation for bathroom. I would highly recommend this place for anyone especially who wants to be near Taksim square or istiklal street . I will definitely stay there again next time

- Anja (9/5): Nice apartment and perfect location - We stayed here for 1 night on our way to asia. It was a convenient location, very close to the main road although a bit difficult for a taxi to reach it (it's a very narrow and dead-end street). The apartment was nice, 2 big sofas in the living room that convert to single beds. The bed in the bedroom could be a bit bigger. Unfortunately, they couldn't give us the late check-out. It was a bit noisy, you could hear the neighbours and the noise from the street but it wasn't too bad.

- Ine (5/5): Central location and extremely friendly staff, but the place is too small for comfort for two people - Extremely helpful and friendly staff. And the location is at the centre of things, in the middle of Beyoğlu. It's oversold in the presentation, and is a disappointment when we get there. Small and not much room to move around. Bedroom with little space except the bed, and the other room also quite smallish. Sewer smell quite bad at times

Plenty of restaurants, shopping sightseeing all around. The unit is very comfortable. Has one bedroom, a kitchenette, a spacious living room, and a good bathroom. Much more room than a Hotel room.
