Guest Reviews
- Toro (10/5): It was fabulous, Patricia and Paulo were the perfect hosts, breakfast in the morning was fabulous. They made reservation - It was very unique and very close to everything we needed, metro, supermarket and local restaurants No outside space with tables and chairs. No common areas to gather
- Kathleen (5/5): -
- Alessandra (9/5): -
- Faye (10/5): - Wonderful and attentive hosts, beautiful villa and nice rooms, and great way to experience Naples while staying in the Vomero neighborhood.
- Claudia (10/5): -
- Arleton (10/5): - I had a wonderful time at WAN. I plan on going back there any time I will visit Napoli and have told several friends about the wonderful experience.
- Ryan (10/5): Fantastic - Paolo and JR were very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early and were able to check in. They gave us helpful tips and recommendations about the area. Nice location in Naples, fairly easy to get around. Helped us book activities. Place was clean and they provided breakfast as well. Excellent place to stay in Naples. Highly recommend.
- Hilde (6/5): - Litt spesielt , men hyggelig sted
Fikk rare anbefalinger til restauranter
- James (10/5): Lovely owners, great place - Lovely owners, beautiful building, location in a calm and clean area of Naples.
- Thomas (10/5): The owners were wonderful, very helpful. - Location nice.
- Guessed (4/5): Disappointing - The floor in our room was not clean. The breakfast was very basic.
- Urd (6/5): Pleasant - The cleaning staff did a thorough job.
The area was really nice There were no space/lounge to hang out, so it was basically just a room.
Open areas in photos were just for breakfast at a designated, quite small and precise time slot
- Thomas (10/5): I wish I had more time to explore the area - The host, the staff, Both very attentive. The host Paolo coordinated a last minute trip to Pompeii . He suggested a pizza place around the corner which was the best pizza my wife and I ever had! His suggestions did not disappoint. His wife Patrizia was also instrumental in setting up taxis for us. In general, Napoli is a big city and its traffic congestion is unyielding. The property itself was great. It’s Paolo that makes the property so enchanting.
- Clifford (10/5): Exceptional - Best. Place I have ever stayed, everything is exceptional. Paolo and Patricia are one of a kind owners. They really want to do everything that they can to make Naples come to life for their guests. Amazing experience.
- John (10/5): Nice Stay - Very nice B&B in a nice area of Naples. We appreciated the restaurant recommendation and their help in booking us a taxi to the airport for an early AM flight. We will be back!
- Sandra (6/5): Terrifically located. Metro close by. Great beds. Staff was very helpful. - Location was excellent! Hosts/staff were very helpful and accommodating to us. Room has mold and AC unit was moldy and very dusty. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Lovely area and building. Comfortable room Metro underground and street noises
- neelkanth (6/5): - As I indicated the room was good, clean and comfortable, no issues. The location is also good walking distance to shopping & dining locations and very convenient in terms of driving to the airport.
I was not happy with the service provided esp. the breakfast. It was grossly inadequate and not fresh and we felt like the owners were penny pinching. Plus we had to eat the same breakfast for 3 days.
Also, the booking indicated a welcome gift … we never got any?
So I rate the property as average, will not return.
- Lesley (10/5): We had a great 2 night stay in Napoli hosted by Patrizia & Paolo - great location with excellent restaurants very cl - Gorgeous engrave / courtyard off the street - high ceilings
- Hengliang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing! The room, the staff, the location; just a wonderful stay. The Vomero area is a perfect place to stay and visit. We will definitely be visiting again!
- Michael (10/5): Paolo and Patrizia were amazing hosts who took care of everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting them again - Beautiful property in a perfect location.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The building and little courtyard/garden was beautiful. Patricia was a fabulous host and very helpful.
.
- Patrick G (10/5): - Very nice property in the Vomero district. Hosts Paolo and Patritzia are super helpful and friendly.
- Accetta (9/5): I really recommend to enjoy Napoli! - Beautiful location and very well organised
- sergio (10/5): - Ottimo posizione, camera pulita, personale efficiente e disponibile
- John (10/5): Wonderful entry into Neopolitan hospitality and robust pride in showing you their cture. - Excellent and respectful of covid safety.
- David (8/5): Really enjoyed the short stay and the hospitality from the hosts was excellent. - Stunning period property with a family touch. Shower could have been better. Heat control wasn’t great.
- Paul (10/5): Lovely place - my third visit - The owner Paulo is a legend. It's always a pleasure to catch up with him and you are always well looked after. Whether you need help with travel reservations or dinner arrangements, he always has great advice. I wish I could have stayed longer - I always seem to end up visiting Naples for one or two nights. I am planning to stay for longer next time.
- Jitendra (2/5): - Very bad room stuffy room no ventilation , neighborhood dirty
- Allison (8/5): Very good - The owners of Weekend a Napoli were spectacular! On our last morning, the taxis were on strike and we were stuck without transportation to the airport. So grateful to the owners for offering us a ride! Great hospitality!
- Gary (6/5): Nice area, rooms a bit claustrophobic, pleasant hosts. - Breakfast was quite varied and tasty. The building itself is very nice. The shower was fine. The location is OK. The rooms in the suite we stayed in are very small and you have to walk sideways around the bed upstairs. We had two rooms and it was a bit of a faff moving between them as they required separate keys to open various doors.
- Brandt (9/5): Superb -
- Daniel (10/5): - The property owners were so helpful and provided a lot of wonderful recommendations. We also really loved the room and the location. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
- Olga (4/5): - I was very excited to stay at this property but unfortunately it was disappointing over and over again. The beautiful living area that is advertised was not anywhere that was accessible to our room, the breakfast list was long but actually very bare bone, but the worst part was the treatment of the owner and staff. From being persuaded to purchase overpriced tours to surprise fees at checkout, to being demanded to leave the room one hour before my confirmation had listed. It was just not a pleasant experience and also overpriced.
- Ryan (10/5): - This property is nestled within a great neighborhood with easy access to great restaurants, shopping, and public transportation.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There is a reason Weekend a Napoli gets such great reviews...Hosts Patrizia and Paolo are two very special people! They own a beautiful hotel in a lovely part of town and make your time there amazing. I wish we had stayed longer, we will definitely return when we can. The room was spotless, breakfast contained delicious home made cakes (Paolo's Buttons are divine!) and their restaurant recommendations were perfect! It is definitely worth checking in before making any plans in Naples because they will know and make recommendations based on your needs! We were sad to leave, and look forward to visiting again soon!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were thrilled with our short stay at Week-end a Napoli. We stayed in the suite, which wound up being much more room than we needed - the separate room with whirlpool didn't get visited, and the living room (with its own TV) was used mostly to store jackets and bags. That said, it's a beautiful room. The inn features art throughout (by one of the owners?) related to Pompeii, including a diorama in the room. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a comforting routine each day: at sunrise, the main door is opened for the rest of the day, bringing fresh air and sunlight. The breakfast felt extra special; we don't stay at B&Bs often, but the amount of care and attention here was lovely. This was our first time in Napoli, and I'm glad we stayed in this neighborhood - you get a flavor of tthe Napoli intensity without the full on craziness. Highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Fine for a quick overnight - We appreciated being greeted by host and felt safe at home at Week-end a Napoli. We left in the wee hours so cannot comment about breakfast. Did not appreciate room freshener aroma in room and bed was not very comfy, but all and all fine place for what we paid.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - They arranged taxi service from train station to property and airport pick up. This was helpful. Room was loud and stuffy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fun little B&B in a great location to Naples night life and restaurants. The hosts were great and recommended where to eat and what to see on our trip. Breakfast was really good and they make excellent coffee! We wish we could have stayed more than one night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very friendly owners and staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you for a fantastic stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A little difficult to find, but worth finding. Hosts were wonderful & very helpful. Place was centrally located. Easy walk to shopping & restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Week-end a Napoli is an amazing hotel in a charming, vibrant neighborhood of Naples. Its cleanliness, artistic decor, and excellent overall facilities make it a true find for any traveler who wants an authentic, artisanal Neopolitan experience. But the main reason to stay here is its wonderful owners, Paolo and Patrizia Coppola, who make every effort to enhance your visit by arranging for taxis, restaurant reservations, and anything else you need to get around Naples. These two individuals will make your time in Naples a memory to cherish for a lifetime. Highest possible recommendation!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great room and bathroom. The courtyard was beautiful - an oasis in the city.
- Patricia L (10/5): Fantastic hosts and lovely stay - Paulo and his wife were fantastic hosts and so welcoming, very informative on Napoli and how to get around, even booking us two separate meal reservations that were incredible! Tremendous hosts and such a lovely b&b as well. The private breakfast spread in the mornings was so lovely and so special for our honeymoon. We didn’t want to leave!
- Andrea (10/5): - It is an very beautiful villa in a good area of naples. ou can go there by funicular or metro. Also it is close to the airport by taxi. We felt very comfortable and people take care and give good advice where to go. If I come back to Napoli , I would book it again.
- Cath (10/5): - Patrizia and Paolo were very friendly and helpful, they gave us lots of tips and helped to plan our activities. Great location, close to metro so easy to get to the old town and plenty of places to go out. We had a large apartment with rustic charm and it was cleaned every day. An enjoyable stay.
- Terry (10/5): - Paola and Patrizia are truly great hoteliers. They love their city and their work. They arranged taxis, dinner reservations—whatever we needed. The hotel is in an old Naples building, beautifully kept up.(It belonged to his grandfather,). Sorry we only had one night to spend here.
- Lisa (10/5): - What an exceptional experience! We were met at the door both our host and hostess and made to feel like family! Although we were only staying for 1 evening, our host made reservations for both our lunch and dinner at wonderful places. Although check in was scheduled for later in the day, we arrived early from the Almafi Coast and were permitted access to our room. I highly recommend this establishment to all. Should my husband and I return to this part of Italy, we would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you so much!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just OK - I wouldn’t recommend this place but I also wouldn’t not recommend it. I had a few issues with the language barrier mainly when we were being told to give our passports to the man checking us in late night and that they would hold them until the morning. Instantly felt uneasy. the other big issue was having to check out at 11am even though my hotels.com booking clearly stated noon was the check out time. My receipt clearly states noon. We were accommodating to their request of checking out at 11am but instantly rescheduled our limo for 3 hours earlier just to get out!
- Gérard (10/5): Merveilleux Week-end à Napoli.! - Trop parfait.
- Sune (10/5): Wonderful two weeks in Vomero - I stayed at Week-end a Napoli for two weeks in January. The hotel was booked online mainly because of the cozy appearances of the hotel and the close proximity to the Tangenziale, while i had to travel North of Napoli on a daily basis. Both elements proved to be correct!
Paolo and Patrizia proved to be first class hosts at their family-house-turned-boutique-hotel. Their attention to detail began when I landed in Napoli, where Paolo called to ensure that I had arrived safely and enquire whether he could be of any assistance. During my stay I was blessed by good dining suggestions, supplemented by instant bookings of tables and special service where ever I went.
The room was very cozy with a bedroom and toilet up the stairs and a small livingroom at the bottom. The breakfast was good, with homemade cakes and a small but good selection of different breakfast products and wonderful coffee. The service furthermore included ironing, which I had to make use of while my business shirts had suffered terribly during the flight.
All in all this was one of the most positive hotel experiences in a long time and i thoroughly enjoyed being part of Napoli life at Week-end a Napoli.
- Anna (2/5): Disappointing, noisy, unwelcoming and expensive - On arrival, check in was hurried and unwelcoming, with the minimum possible information given. The chair in the room was broken, seat had a big hole and was unusable. Bathroom was dirty, hairs were found in shower and toiletries were only a couple of sachets of poor quality liquid gel.
Hotel was noisy every evening until late at night.
Breakfast was of poor quality and restricted quantity.
The following day we found that the towels used the previous day and left on the floor for changing were not changed but were instead put again on towel rack in the bathroom.
The following morning we went for breakfast and the owner lady said we had not arrived on time, even though it was 8:30 am and breakfast times were from 8 to 10 am. As soon as we finished breakfast she hurried us to pay our bill as she had to go out. I told her that I did not bring the wallet with me to breakfast and could not pay immediately as I had to return to my room to get it. She said very rudely that checkout was at 11 and that she could not waste time. I felt upset about the way she was talking to us, I told her I was very aware of checkout time and I went back to my room and returned immediately to pay.
Whilst she was processing the payment, I noticed her husband looking at us from the kitchen with a very suspicious look. I felt offended by the whole experience and could not wait to leave that hotel.
It has been a very unpleasant experience and I will not use it in the future or recommend this hotel.
- tara (10/5): Fantastic! - We had a great time. The owners were so accommodating and helped me get the olive oil I wanted. I recommend you stay here at WAN!!!! Try and book the cooking class with them too. We didn't have time but I wish I did it!!!!
- Johannes (10/5): Anbefalast - Me hadde nokre fine dagar her. Frukosten me fekk servert var nydeleg. Overnattar gjerne her igjen!
- Tony (10/5): Better & Better! - Now this is how to run a B&B!
You are effectively staying in a grand town house run by Paolo and Patrizia, an absolutely charming couple who, in our experience, go out of their way to make your stay absolutely perfect - effectively providing a concierge service.
Not only did they help us with detailed directions in respect of our existing plans (including suggestions to do/see on our way back), they also made some excellent recommendations about local restaurants (including booking a table for us) and bars that we would never have found.
We had one of the split-level Junior Suites, which had a downstairs lounge area that’s ideal for reading and making plans for the day and an upstairs bedroom that has plenty of wardrobe space for both clothes and suitcases.
Obviously this is a B&B rather than a hotel and, as such, should be treated as base to come back to rather than somewhere to spend the day ‘laying by the pool’ or similar.
It is, however, the perfect base if you want to go out and see Naples. And there really is a lot to see – I’d say a good four to five days worth, without leaving the city centre.
Breakfast is pleasant, offering a selection of cereals, meats, cheeses, breads and jams that are pretty much all that anyone could want or need.
Finally (and I only mention this as it’s the subject of a poor review elsewhere) Patrizia was more than happy to book a taxi to take us to Naples airport at a flat rate of 23 Euros.
It’s absolutely perfect and we can’t wa
