- Richard (8/5): Very good - It lived up to our expectations of a nice hotel in a small country town. The restaurant is closed on Saturday and Sunday. We didnt find that out until we got there.

- Graham (9/5): Great location and lovely staff - Great location and very helpful staff. Our room was a good size, well equipped and very clean. The hotel was very quiet at night. Unfortunately no food was available on a Friday evening. There is a nearby restaurant though, about 5 minutes away.

What didn't I like......the kid racing up and down the street on his motorcycle late at night. I don't think the room had an air conditioner so the only option was to have the window open. I also found it a bit odd having to use a keypad and access code to both enter and exit the building.

Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Friday and Saturday nights; the two nights we stayed there and there is only one other restaurant within walking distance. That is not really bad but one needs to know it.

- Paul (10/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay in excellent surroundings. - Easy access and good free parking nearby. Spectacular views of the Loire valley just a few yards from the hotel. The hotel bar was well stocked and a good addition. Staff were extremely helpful. We were at a wedding locally and were able to access the hotel quickly and easily when we arrived late at night. A stunning view from our room over the village rooftops to the beautiful countryside beyond.
