Guest Reviews
- Donna (10/5): Beautiful old colonial with stunning views ! - It was a lovely cottage with the most amazing views from the Dining room/kitchen. Lovely big bathroom and comfortable beds. One small negative is that when booking it wasn’t mentioned that the street parking is subject to restrictions during the hours of 8am and 6pm. We were aware that there was no parking supplied but not aware of the 2hour parking limit during these times. It just would have been nice to know that when booking.
- Tracey (9/5): Great place and location would highly recommend -
- Terry (10/5): Thanks for making our stay so easy and comfortable. - Location was excellent.
Well appointed, homey, comfortable house.
The communication with the management team was also excellent. They responded to messages super quickly. Nothing. All was super!
- Alexa (10/5): -
- Tea (8/5): The house was overall good just the smell of the dog urine could make the stay better an more comfortable - The place was spacious and had the basics needs for a daily routine Upon arrival there was a strong scent of urine on the front porch and in one of the front bed rooms
- IshaKaur (7/5): - We liked the proximity to city centre and the water view. There's a step behind single lounge chairs and this caused a slight mishap when sitting down. The property is not suitable for people with ambulatory issues eg. step from hallway to kitchen and steps at front entrance that are uneven. Although the property was not completely suitable for our party, it is still a lovely property.
- Rob (9/5): - Very clean, good location, well appointed and comfortable beds.
The house had character with a modern bathroom.
Plenty to do in the Hobart district. 2 hour street parking restriction during business hours
- Sylvia (10/5): -
- Melissa (8/5): It was very convenient and beds were comfortable. - Very central, beautiful outlook, especially at night. Beds very comfortable. The front bedroom did smell badly of cat urine. Needs fans in bedrooms. Definitely need a handrail at front steps.
- vera (7/5): Enjoyable - The two front bedrooms were great with comfy beds and lots of room.
The lounge and dining rooms were lovely.
Lots of character in the whole house It was confusing when the address was 12A but it was 12 on the door.
The twin beds in the smaller room were not very comfortable for adults. Also there was no table in this room.
The shower with the 2 heads was confusing.
- Fiona (10/5): A lovely place to come home to after a busy day sightseeing - Everything!
It was convenient to the city, bright, airy, clean and spacious Nothing. It was absolutely perfect
- Annja (8/5): -
- Jenny (9/5): We loved our stay at the cottage - the location and views were perfect for us. - Great location and comfortable place to stay. The small bedroom could do with a little extra love - a bedside table and light would really improve things and maybe some mattress toppers. In the description of the property it mentioned parking on site but then the detailed message explained there was street parking with 2 hour limits during business hours. These were small quibbles and didn’t overly detract.
- Sophie (10/5): Perfect holiday home! - The property was absolutely beautiful, very clean and spacious. The front garden was so inviting and views from the kitchen were great!
- Nancy (8/5): -
- Danielle (9/5): We loved staying here and would love to stud again. - Location beautiful 1 roll of toilet paper only
- Genevieve (9/5): -
- Karen (9/5): Fabulous location no need for a car - Great location lovely views Nil
- Natalie (9/5): Lovely property! -
- Cohen (8/5): Very pleasant - Sunny, light, front bedrooms spacious, gorgeous views, bathroom v modern. Location so convenient and delightful. A lovely heritage ambience. Single beds need upgrading. No bedside table or bedside lights in small bedroom. Frypan needs replacing and a second smaller one needed. Toilet paper provided of v poor quality. Front room door not able to be closed properly. TV problematic - couldn’t get free to air channels despite feedback assistance.
- Erin (10/5): - Gorgeous period home in fantastic location
- Rob Clarke (8/5): - Location The free parking note in the ad should be qualified. It is only free for 2hrs during business hours.
- Jo (8/5): Warm and comfortable. Great views and lovely quiet neighbourhood. Short walk to CBD. -
- Gulam (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable and convenient. Can’t fault anything
- Trudy (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): A beautiful heritage property, with amazing views! - The house was amazing to stay in. The views were exceptional, it was only an $8 Uber into town. The view from Bath St is amazing. Albeit, we slept on a Wed and Thurs, but the street was silent.
A fantastic place to stay, and would love to come back! :) The TV is probably due for an upgrade ;). Although, depending on your plans, you are probably watching less prisonbreak than we did!!
- Rod (9/5): Superb -
- Kellie (9/5): Great for a relaxed central Hobart stay. Beautiful view from the back of the house. - Centrally located, comfortable accomodation. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Steep hill parking which is more a reflection of my parking skills than the accomodation.
- Mary (9/5): Excellent stay.Great location.Highly recommend. - Great location in Battery Point and could walk easily into town.Pretty cottage with very comfortable beds .Great sized bathroom.Nice view over the district and towards Mount Wellington.
- Cath (8/5): We had a lovely time - Location, view and comfortable No real issue
- Pam (9/5): Great location with a wonderful view - Beautiful view from rear of house
Comfortable beds and spacious bedrooms
Kitchen was supplied well with cooking utensils etc. Everything suited us for our stay.
We did have torrential rain on our last night and all the rear windows leaked so we're unable to sit on one side of the dining table and there was continuous drips splashing and the floor got quite wet. (Needs some silicone around outside of windows, they have only done inside)
- Lago (9/5): Very enjoyable stay, very comfortable clean apartment - I liked the location in terms of access to the centre of Hobart. The views from the apartment were also excellent. The parking and access with a car was a bit awkward, but in that location there's maybe not much that can be done.
