- Marija (10/5): Loved our stay - The space was beautiful and had everything you'd need for your stay. It was clean, comfortable and really spacious. Street parking was handy and it was a walkable distance to cafes and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back! N/A

- Rosa (9/5): It was a peaceful and productive stay. Highly recommend this accommodation. Woud stay there again . - This was a beautiful, spacious and light- filled loft accommodation. Quiet, secluded. Great for working and/or relaxing. Tastefully furnished, with a lot of atmospheres. Small separate bathroom and kitchenette. Very comfortable bed. Pet friendly. Helpful hosts. Located in a lovely leafy side street, close to shopping centre that has many cafes, supermarket and boutiques. As an older person who arrived at night, I found it hard to see the numbers on the black key safe, illuminated by a garden light. However, the hosts heard me and came out to assist me. Would have appreciated a little microwave in the kitchenette to warm up food.
- Stuart (8/5): Beautiful place with a lovely air vented room, the suburb to walk around was gorgeous. - Attractive property with lovely decor. Maybe a couple more condiments, nothing to wash and dry dishes
- Meredith (7/5): A great little apartment for couples wanting to travel with their dogs. - Quiet, dog friendly, private. Very clean, lots of light and warm. The bed was comfortable. I have arthritis so the steep stairs up to the loft area were difficult for me. There was no microwave so I couldn’t heat up my wheat pack for my joint pain.
The 2 towels and a hand towel provided were quite worn, luckily we brought our own towels and face washers (not provided). There was no tea towel in the kitchenette.
We stayed 2 nights. On the cold rainy afternoon we would have liked to watch a movie, however, there is no TV provided.
When we come to Melbourne we spend most of our time in Bayside so this accommodation was not as central for us. It was great to have the dogs welcome though.

- Skye (9/5): Peaceful, great location for me, close to my training centre, a little pricey. - Perfect location for me Bathroom tap drenched me when washing my hands, twice! I had to change clothes. lol
No microwave to heat my dinner.

- Maarja (10/5): Perfect for a quick getaway, super nice and close to Caulfield racecourse. - Gorgeous unit. It is giving beautiful barn Scadi vibes. It is private and on a quiet street. Small, but you have everything you need in it.

- Aaron (9/5): Nice stay in a beautiful loft - Great location, comfortable and private. Instructions for entry were easy to follow Nil
- Brett (8/5): Comfy overnight stay in the 'burbs. - Nicely presented room that's ideal for 1 or 2 nights. Quite location and easy access. Doesn't have cooking facilities, which was fine for our stay but not ideal if you plan to stay longer.
- David (9/5): Good - Clean Nothing
- Stephen (10/5): - Really new and clean. Very comfortable stay. Lovely host that was able to accommodate a late check out.
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect place to lay our heads and enjoy surrounding area - We loved how bright and airy it was, had everything we needed for our two night stop. Very close to shops, places to eat and trams etc
- Ruby (9/5): beautiful place - would stay again - very beautiful place, clean and well kept. easy check in and out. sky windows! no shelf in the bathroom or microwave
- Robert (3/5): UPDATE: Received a swear-laded conversation from owner after a "6". Will not recommend him at all. - Neat bedroom in a loft with a kitchenette and a small combined toilet/shower. The bedroom was roomy with plenty of light and was easily accessed through the front gate entrance of the house. The room is down a path & up some stairs. The location is off main roads but accessible to areas south of the city. The bedroom well decorated and is pet-friendly! UPDATE: After posting the below, received a nice call to ask me to increase my rating from Pleasant (6) to a 9 or 10. I explained that it was pleasant but with no TV, no place to put clothes etc etc....but I was interrupted by a profanity-ridden rant with multiple F you from the owner Al. My wife called him back and he yelled the same abuse and hung up again. Sorry, can't in good conscience support / recommend this owner at all (and will be reporting him to Booking.com).
===========
There is no TV. The sunlight from the kitchenette is very bright and there is no door so it is very bright in the mornings. (If you like a dark room, probably not for you). There is a small bar fridge but unforunately it was not on when we arrived (owner says that cleaner probably turned it off). Unfortunately, there is nowhere to hang our clothes (a rail somewhere would be helpful).
- Sarah (9/5): - Fantastic location, close to restaurants but also quiet and peaceful area. Felt like I was in a world of my own amongst the tree tops of the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne - bliss.
- Heidi (10/5): Enjoyed the tranquility and perfect for a couples getaway. - Peaceful and quiet location. Great privacy. Love the windows with blinds in the pitch ceiling as allows beautiful natural light. Great privacy and very clean. Perfect for short or long stays.
- Natalie (10/5): The perfect place for a stay in Melbourne - Lovely property - bright and well decorated.
- Alan (6/5): Comfortable for a couple of nights . Recommended as a weekend stay - It was clean and decor was good. There was no place to hang cloths , no TV. Only had 2 towels for the whole weeks stay .
Would have been nice to have perhaps a microwave. It felt like a weekender not well equipped for a weeks stay.
- Monica (9/5): Very pleasant place to stay - Very pleasant surroundings
Delightful loft atmosphere
Clean and bright
Comfortable bed
Quiet environment All good for our overnight needs
- Alix (9/5): -
- Haylee (10/5): Perfect little weekend getaway - This place is so beautiful and well thought out! Bed was super comfy and everything was really clean. Cute little bathroom and kitchen and we found it easy to walk to restaurants/bars nearby or use the tram.
- Riley (8/5): Friendly hosts, comfy room, great for a few nights. Loved that my dog was welcome. - Communication from the hosts was 10/10 and the pick up / drop off for the keys was very simple. Privacy and security was great and the fit out of the room was very well thought out. Bed was exceptionally comfy and it was very peaceful. The internet was not up to standard for this day and age, not just the weak wi-fi, but i only got 4g on my phone which is normally 5g. It would also help to have a microwave in the kitchenette.
- Gerald (9/5): It was an excellent experience to stay on the property. Thanks to Albert for being considerate too. I was able to chang - The room design. Location. Quiet place. Need to have an additional accessories for kitchen stuff. Eg. glasses, scissors, knives cork opener and etc. But all in all were still happy and satisfied.
- Nilesh (9/5): Great little space, very comfortable and with amazingly facilities - Extremely clean and well kitted out. The room has its own bathroom and kitchenette which made my stay very comfortable. The place is separate and secluded so you get your own space and privacy.
The owner has incredibly accommodating and flexible booking me in at late notice after my previous booking fell through The key safe was slightly tricky to find however this was probably due to the fact I checked in when it was dark
- Donna (10/5): It was the most gorgeous value for money safe divine accommodation. - It felt like a safe area and accommodation as a solo stay.
- Tammy (10/5): Stunning safe and serenity ✨️ - I had travelled for days to be in a beautiful, clean, and safe environment, was essential ✨️ Amazing quiet and tranquil. 🙏🏻

- Robbie (8/5): Unique loft architecture in leafy suburb. - No breakfast provided
- Norman (9/5): A great find - This property was clean, roomy and comfortable.
It had all the facilities for a pleasant stay.
This was a great find, there are not many properties in the area.
It was a perfect place to stay for my early morning medical procedure.
Highly recommended. No improvements I can think of.
- Aut (10/5): Hidden gem in Elsternwick, I had an amazing time with my cat. Feels very secluded and private even though it’s attached - The space is beautiful, the family did a great job styling the place out. It feels very luxurious. The room feels grand and massive because of the roof sun windows. It’s lovely in the mornings, the space glows in sunlight. It has everything you need, it’s very modern and carefully designed.
- White (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (10/5): Great value and beautiful property - Very comfortable, private, beautifully designed, quiet. So glad we stayed here - and pet friendly too.
- Elvira (8/5): very quiet street with the room being a gorgeous attic style with lovely rustic finishes - The beautiful room and garden.
- Aislinn (10/5): Cosy, well-maintained, homely, safe, pet friendly. - Albert is incredibly kind - he went out of his way to ensure myself and my fur babies felt comfortable and well looked after. It is such a gorgeous space that we’ve stayed in multiple times now!
- Joshua (10/5): A delightful, light filled space. Cosy, comfortable and quiet. - A delightful, light filled space. Cosy, comfortable and quiet.
One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had the pleasure of sleeping in!
The hosts were so accommodating. I had requested to store my luggage before check in and this was no issue, however they then went above and beyond by quickly preparing the space after the previous guests left early.
This was unexpected and completely welcome as it made my stay in the area stress free.
I would not hesitate staying in this beautiful space again, especially after having the chance encounter with the hosts which included a genuine and friendly conversation.
Thank you so much!
- Vanessa (9/5): Superb - Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Quiet street/home. Easy instructions and access.
- Lorri (7/5): In a lovely leafy suburb of Melbourne - Good location close to Glenhuntly Rd trams, supermarkets and cafes, in a lovely leafy Melbourne suburb.
A television and some coat hangers would have been appreciated. Also a sensor light at the back pathway to the guest entrance, quite dark and narrow.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (9/5): Would stay again. - Great spot, really clean and comfortable place. Only comment would be it needs a hairdryer, iron and hand soap.
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely historical house, with an extension made tp match.
Very clean and comfortable. Trams were just a stroll away and restaurants as well. A very quiet suburb. Nothing.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice space
- Silja (10/5): Very beautiful and spacious home. Looked very new and newly renovated. Loved the peace and quiet. Seems like nice suburb - Very beautiful and spacious home. Looked very new and newly renovated. Loved the peace and quiet. Seems like nice suburb of Melbourne too.
- Georgie (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Lovely cozy space in a lovely neighbourhood. Close enough to the beach and just a charming little place to relax. - Nice, clean space with some real charm. Not much, I’d be nitpicking. Would be nice to maybe have some fly screens so could I could keep the windows open at night, otherwise nothing to complain about.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - So quiet, clean and comfortable. Even though in the suburbs it was very peaceful. The unique architecture made us feel we were staying in something special, not just an average room. We will use this room on our next Melbourne visit.
- Gideon (9/5): Very nice place - We stayed four nights. Lovely loft extension of a beautiful period property. Photos do the place justice. I’m very tall, but had no problem with the rafters. There was plenty of space. Close to shops, restaurants and transport. I don’t usually like wet room bathrooms, however didn’t find any great difficulty with this one, even though it’s snug. A little dusty and no long mirror, but not a major problem.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (10/5): A wonderful, luxury night away in a stunning, stylish and quiet apartment. - The apartment is immaculate, situated at the rear of a beautiful house in a lovely quiet road. It is spacious and light, stylish and cool, yet super comfortable and cosy too. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could want or need for a comfortable stay. It is a short walk to cafes, nice good value restaurants and Coles supermarket. There is plentiful and easy street parking immediately outside. Nothing.
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (9/5): Really nice property modern and clean and pretty, good value for money - I actually loved this place it was such beautiful energy and really pretty I felt I stepped into the secret garden, if I go back to Melbs again I'd stay there for sure! Nothing really was great even the bed was super soft.
- Heidi (10/5): Fabulous little loft apartment with a leafy outlook and and a sunny temperament. We stayed there as our pup needed a spe - A beautiful, sunny, well thought through little loft apartment with owners that really care and go the extra mile.
- Sina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noa (8/5): A beautiful and cozy room suitable for a one or two night stay. - The design of the room is very beautiful, just like in the pictures. There is a separate privet entrance, which is convenient. There is a kitchenette and a shower. We did not meet the owner, but communication with him, via Booking's mailbox, was good and he responded quickly to any request. The location is very convenient, close to public transportation.
Very suitable for a one-night stay. Much less convenient for a longer stay because there are no wardrobe to store clothes in or a place to hang them. There are no closets and no hanging places to put clothes. Very uncomfortable if you are there for more than couple of days.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Madi (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful design and very spacious
- Jessica (9/5): Gorgeous little peaceful retreat perfect for an overnight work stay and great cafes and - Location was amazing, beautiful street, great easy access to property, host was super nice and accommodating, the actual space was beautiful and bed was super comfy - great mattress and linens I loved everything
- Helen (10/5): Very enjoyable place to stay - Very quiet and comfortable Nothing
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Bev (6/5): Overall we were unhappy with the facilities. - Location was very close for where we needed. Key locking system is very dated. Lighting at night outside is non existent. I left a light on and it was turn't off. It's very dark and not satisfactory. There is no where to hang clothes. No where to hang wet towels. Stairs are steep and would not be suitable for elderly people or anyone with a child. No sheet on the bed, left me wondering how regularly the doona cover was changed, ew. Smaller issues are - shampoo was empty and container was filthy. No shelving in bathroom to put toiletries, so you had to put everything in kitchen area. There was no mirror there so you had to keep going backwards and forwards between the two rooms. Shower curtain needs washing. Everything in the kitchen area was dusty. The fridge wasn't turn on.
- Ha (10/5): Well worth the money - Everything about it 👏👏 Nothing
- Andrea (9/5): Cute little hideaway for two. - Well-located in quiet street with heaps of on-street parking. Super clean. Super comfortable bed. Beautifully finished with great atmosphere. Gorgeous natural light and greenery. Private entry to room. Owner responds quickly to any messages. Fridge froze our food. Everything else was excellent.
- Andreas (5/5): A good option for affordable accommodation. Cleanliness and comfort could be enhanced. - The property offers a great location with uncomplicated access. The bin contained leftover trash from previous guests. No extra toilet paper provided for a three-day stay for 2 people. Only one pillow provided per guest, with no extra available.
- Que (10/5): Greattt - Clean, look nice Nothing, pathway to get in is a bit confusing
- Joshua (9/5): Relaxing gem - Beautiful accommodation. Spacious and private in a nice street close to shops and cafes and public transport.
- Kerry (9/5): Superb - Extremely comfortable bed and lovely, light filled design in a quiet location. Nothing
- Samuel (9/5): excelent - Fantastic Would be nice to have blinds on the door - otherwise perfect
- Chiaochen (8/5): There are windows on the ceiling of the room. If the weather is good, you can see the stars. It's ve - The environment is very clean and comfortable. I don't like the door without curtains.
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamara (4/5): Disappointing - Cold, no TV, small bathroom, awakwad entry, can here and see into main home, didn't feel private, more of a room stay
- Kate (9/5): Very nice little space - Lovely and quaint will stay again Needs a blind on the glass door for privacy
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melanie (10/5): - Not using my charger as I usually do 😄 - It was very aesthetically pleasing. Super pretty!! I loved the detail put into this place. I didn’t like the smallness of the bathroom - I made it work and loved the windows and how it made me see the bigger picture.
- Gael (10/5): A stylish charming gem of a place that we will be visiting again! - A beautifully styled, spotlessly clean, very private, quiet, centrally located gorgeous space! We loved the comfy bed with quality linen, the treetop feel of being in a spacious loft and the high end fit out. It’s centrally located to trams with easy access to St Kilda and city
Our host was very clear and helpful on self check in. Nothing - we loved our stay
- Suranga (9/5): Perfect. was confortable and cozy. - The aesthetic A bit of more basic amenities such as, body wash and microwave.
- Graeme (9/5): Perfect 👌🏼 - Quiet and very comfortable. Just a short walk to shops and dining on Glen Huntly Rd.
- Stephanie (9/5): Looks just like the pics - I've stayed here several times recently.
It's a clean, spacious and nicely designed space. And also pet friendly, which is a big plus!
The street is relatively quiet and finding parking is easy.
Check in is also very straightforward with clear instructions.
Host Al is very responsive and a pleasure to deal with Not much! A tea towel and some more tea bags etc for the kitchen space would be great
- Shea (10/5): A beautiful, peaceful, and cosy little hideaway. - Really great tucked away location, but close to everything. It was really quiet and peaceful. You forget where you are when up in the loft. I loved the fact there was no TV. Check out at 11am is always a bonus, I was able to do some work in the morning before heading out for meetings. A walk away from foodie heaven.
- Quattrocchi (8/5): Beautiful space. - Beautiful room and bathroom and our host was prompt with communication. At this price point, we would expect hand soap and body wash. The room is cold in winter and we needed the heater on all night due to light bedding. Room has facilities listed but need asking for and if the host isn't home, it makes this challenging. Cat food found around the bed and huge dying orchids were an issue when using the table.
- Mikayla (9/5): Beautiful accomodation with plenty of street parking. Was very clean and all necessities provided for a short stay. - Newly renovated, super easy aces and plenty of communication from the owner The only thing we would say was not ideal was no blind on the main door to the room. Considering it is shared accommodation would be great to have just a little more privacy between the room and then main house.
- Hetty (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (7/5): Good - Very clean and cosy No T.V ,my partner would have liked a full length mirror ,it was advertised as being in St Kilda but is actually South Caulfield so further away from the city
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachael (9/5): Beautiful apartment - Really responsive host who found us an iron at short notice so we could prepare for the wedding. The place is also really beautifully presented and has been tastefully decorated Feels new and therefore lacks a few items for additional ease such as a sharp knife and a curtain for the front door for additional privacy.
- Kelly (10/5): Great value, great location. - Great location, spacious clean room.
