• Melanie (6/5): Spacious but disappointing - I rented the property for myself and 4 adult children. The property is spacious, in a quiet residential area and has amazing views of the mountains to the rear. It was the perfect size for my group. The pool area is large and not overlooked. The bedrooms are comfortable and the living space, kitchen and utility are large enough for a big group. The decor is modern and there is a carport to keep your car out of the sun. The main house had a few issues such as a bug problem in the kitchen. Despite regularly spraying with bug spray we couldn’t keep any food in the cabinets as they were over run with ants and some kind of small bugs which also appeared in the dishwasher every day. I presume they were coming from the drains. The aircon in the main bedroom didn’t work as the unit was showing a fault and the fan in the room was also faulty. I was able to bring a fan from the living room in to use instead, however it was quite warm at night. The main house is advertised as 3 bedrooms however the 2 smaller rooms are adjoining and do not have a door to separate them. The annex also had a bug problem in the kitchen. The most disappointing issue was with the pool. We arrived late in a Friday and when we uncovered the pool it was very cloudy. I had been advised that the pool is cleaned on Fridays and Mondays so this was surprising. By Sunday the cloudiness had settled but the bottom of the pool was covered in a yellow algae. It was also on the steps of the pool and was slippery and there was an orange ring around the edge of the pool that was never cleaned on any of the cleaning visits. The pool cleaner arrived on Monday at 6pm, looked at the pool and left. Despite contacting management the pool was not cleaned until Thursday afternoon, so we were unable to use the pool for most of our stay. The bottom of the pool was hoovered on Thursday and another pool cleaner came on Friday to do the regular maintenance. Despite this the bottom of the pool was covered in algae again by Sunday. The pool cleaner came again on Monday at 6pm and had to hoover the algae once more. This was the last full day of our holiday and so yet again we didn’t get to use the pool. I could also see that while the jets in the pool are working, the filters do not seem to be pulling water in. Any bugs or leaves that fell into the pool were pushed towards the end of the pool but did not enter the filters.
• Michelle (9/5): Excellent property had a amaziing family holiday will stay again - Amazing stay, spacious for larger parties, comfortable, staff were excellent & always on hand loved the pool & jacuzzi. Very clean, beds comfortable, conservatory great for winter stay. TV’s in both sitting areas great. Multiple areas to sit outside, roof top too. Outside games wonderful surprise, We did the puzzles which were fun 🤩 Improvements to the second accommodation, shower room modernising, maybe a tv, more cooking utensils.
